"You can leave it here, no need to go down." Zhao Gushen said, "Otherwise, I won’t feel at ease with you coming back up alone."

"No rush, I’ll tidy up the house and edit some parts of the video. I’ll probably sleep after 11 at the earliest." Ye Fei replied.

"Do you usually work at night too?" Zhao Gushen asked, looking unhurried in the elevator.

Ye Fei explained, "During weekends, I have to spend time with Xiao Mo during the day. On weekdays, although Xiao Mo is at kindergarten, I also need to use the daytime to work on my private kitchen and video recordings. So, I can only edit videos after Xiao Mo falls asleep at night."

"Since I’ve paused the private kitchen job for a while, I have to prepare for the competition, so my work schedule hasn’t really changed," Ye Fei explained.

Zhao Gushen nodded.

Ye Fei didn’t know why he was asking about this.

Then she heard Zhao Gushen say, "Alright, I’m leaving."

Ye Fei watched him until the elevator doors closed.

Ye Fei then returned home, tidied up things, and washed the cups she used in the afternoon.

After taking a shower and getting everything ready, she made herself another cup of tea.

Just as she sat down in front of the computer to edit, she received a WeChat message from Zhao Gushen.

Zhao Gushen: "I’m home."

Ye Fei replied, "Okay, I’m just about to edit the video."

As soon as she sent the reply, she immediately received another message from Zhao Gushen: "After you upload the video, send me the link. I’ll watch it."

Ye Fei shook her head, stopped thinking about it, took a sip of tea, and focused on editing the video.

There’s no way to finish editing within an hour unless she pulls an all-nighter.

So, Ye Fei only edited a small part, planning to finish in a few nights.

By 11:30, Ye Fei couldn’t hold on any longer.

She saved the edited parts and went to sleep.
