Xue Dili directly controlled the Insect-devouring Tree to grow a wooden bench.

She immediately sat down on the bench without hesitation, crossing her legs under her wide Witch’s Robe, like crossing them leisurely.

"Evil Ghosts have no physical form, but they are absolutely immortal entities. So far, we can only seal or use Evil Ghosts against each other, causing them to fall into a kind of logical conflict, often resulting in extremely twisted creatures..." she explained, "Evil Ghosts love places where humans gather. When more than ten people gather, it often easily attracts attacks from Evil Ghosts."

"So in our world, population gathering is not allowed, and when encountering Evil Ghosts, the first thing is to run, and then find the Anomaly Bureau or clergy to seek their help..."

"As for Demons, they are monsters with physical forms, who can be killed but it’s difficult. Even if we dismantle the corresponding alleys, stations, or abandoned cabins, other similar areas might have similar lethal rules, leading to all involved in demolitions mysteriously disappearing. Therefore, the best way to deal with eerie entities is to seal off those areas."

"As long as they’re not dismantled, usually eerie entities won’t move randomly, remaining fixed in place. Sealing off those areas thoroughly will suffice. Places like caves, underwater pits, or abandoned cabins in the wild are the easiest to give birth to eerie entities."

Miss Witch explained these terms to Xue Dili in one breath, then appeared somewhat parched, swallowing, then looking at Xue Dili expectantly.

Xue Dili handed her a bottle of ice-cold cola.

Upon seeing the cola, she drank it eagerly, a satisfied expression spreading across her face.

Though the Young Lady spoke very succinctly, Xue Dili suddenly wanted to complain, "Is there really nothing wrong with your world? What with these murderous Evil Ghosts, human-abducting Demons, and the uncanny entities that devour people without blinking..."

Why does it feel like, there in your place, one careless move and you’ll be completely swallowed, bones and all, by some strange thing, without even knowing exactly what ate you.

Is such a world really a place human beings can survive in?

As for the final uncanny entities... the cave-diving community here would once again be in distress. No, her world probably doesn’t even have cave-diving; I guess everyone involved has been completely devoured.

"Doesn’t your world look like a place where normal life can’t continue?" Xue Dili complained, casually tossing the Young Lady a basket of fruit.

Miss Witch continued munching on the fruits from the Fairy Tale World, her eyes seemed to light up, she evidently loved eating them. Seeing this, Xue Dili took out more fruit, including some Magic fruits sent by Silver Princess and Old Watson.

He sort of understood her world now, a place rife with eerie entities and monsters.

He wondered how someone her age could sleep peacefully and eat so heartily; the ominous world made Xue Dili frown with its unsolvable existences, the only killable being the Demons.

But those Demons don’t seem like native species; rather, they seem from the Otherworld or extraterrestrial origins, simply powerful Magic creatures.

As for those Evil Ghosts and eerie entities, they seem more like, a kind of uncontrolled authority?

Xue Dili mused, feeling that a normal World Consciousness wouldn’t let such things exist, distortions that have no benefits for the world, only harm. Either authority got out of control, or the entire world was invaded by something more sinister.

That’s why it turned so Underworld-like, the entire world resembling a ghost story.
