Surviving The Fourth Calamity-Chapter 350 - 149: The Beginning of War with Frequent Unveiling of Hidden Cards
Hill silently answered this perceptive little girl in his heart, "It’s because elves and dwarves know how to suppress evil auras."
The hatred and resentment of humans are most likely to attract the gaze of demons.
But these slaves, already numbed by oppression, lack even the emotion of resentment.
Hill had heard that Central City does not purchase slaves from human kingdoms.
They only buy slave children sold by the Hundred Cities Alliance.
These already docile children, further tormented, find it hard to rise in rebellion.
Even if some wished to escape, in a city of flowers, plants, and trees, with a populace of elven bloodline, it is easy to detect fleeing slaves.
Separated by a screen, Hill cannot see the evil glow.
But Hill believes that this city is probably a quagmire.
William looked down at Central City below him.
After the defense isolation shield was shattered, he noticed something was amiss.
Upon seeing everything discovered by the Undead Tribe, William did not suppress the power spreading wildly in his rage.
He furrowed his brow, there was one place, something that he could not understand.
So, William directly crushed the Lord’s Mansion located in the city center into powder, the ground also pressed down layer by layer by a powerful force, and then a magic array suddenly emerged.
William looked up at the starry sky; the God of Time and Space did not seem to intend to stop his actions, so there probably wasn’t a problem.
He increased his power and quickly shattered the magic array.
The entire Central City erupted into billows of black smoke instantly.
So, this city had not slipped into the evil faction was because the sins they committed were suppressed by that magic array!
Miller stood by, exclaiming in surprise, "Ah!"
Carl revealed a slight sneer, "Is your friend really neutral?"
William ignored the scheming rivalry of these two legends, simply stating quietly, "Those bearing sins, not one shall be spared!"
The Undead Tribe gathered all the unproblematic slaves at the central square, then started to kill from inside to outside, house by house.
The outermost circle of Central City was also filled with knights of the Undead Tribe; no one could escape.
This was a horrifying massacre, but everyone on the ship remained unaffected.
"Others from different cities would probably run," said Spencer, standing below.
"Dionysio won’t shelter these people," William chuckled. "Other countries that dare to provide refuge believe they are too secure and want to see how many people the Undead Tribe really has?"
The nobles quietly signaled to each other; William was about to issue a decree of pursuit.
If any country dared to defy William’s fury to receive these people from the Hundred Cities Alliance, then they would see if the little money they earned was enough to save their lives.
Hill also heard William’s words, the voice laden with deep disgust took him aback.
The Undead Tribe downstairs quickly resolved his confusion.
They discussed what kind of magic array could suppress such a terrifying evil aura, the current Central City, almost filled with dense black haze.
That kind of evil aura is not visible to everyone.
Of course, the Undead Tribe had no issue; their elemental bodies are very sensitive to evil.
So when Hill first detected the presence of the Sun God, he deduced that the Undead Tribe’s affairs must be involved.
Only His divine power carries the eternal force of striking evil.
The Undead Tribe on the screen, searching everywhere in the bright and beautiful Central City, breaking doors, directly killing people.
Amid the city’s cries, the Undead Tribe resembled the villain.
However, the curses of those Undead Tribe below Hill let everyone know, there were no innocents in these families.
Hill could only secretly be relieved that in the eyes of the Undead Tribe, these crying people are the images of their souls.
Evil demons swathed in black smoke.
So even with children, the Undead Tribe did not hesitate in their actions.
In the eyes of the Undead Tribe, those are simply little demons with ugly faces.
However, this magic array did clear up some of Hill’s questions.
Why the Dwarf Deity System could perennially squat in a neutral position in the starry sky.
Clearly, the dwarves hunted many magical beasts of this world, not just legends, demigods also died by their hands.
The Dwarven God of Smithing and his divine subordinates, directly involved in the hunting of the Nature God, had they slid to a degree of evil that even a magic array could not suppress?
However, a Central City with not many dwarves has so many dead mid-level magical beasts, the sins committed by the entire dwarf race indeed sufficed to let them fall into the abyss.
Hill now suspected that that magic array actually originated from the abyss.
Only those who wished to hide themselves on the Prime Material Plane from the abyss would be so skilled in suppressing evil auras.
So it was too normal for there to be no Abyssal Gate here.
The evil aura of this city was probably enough to sustain a demon equivalent to a demigod or several dozen legendary demons.
Hill looked up at the imposing William standing in the sky on the screen, thinking he should have a notion in mind.
As expected, William was already instructing the Undead Tribe to open the underground area of the entire city.
Hill leaned back in his chair, watching as the demon’s den slowly revealed itself below.
His heart filled with hatred; these people dying like this was too good for them!
Unfortunately, William would never act as cruelly as the Evil Faction.
The demons had already retreated, leaving behind only a terrifying Blood Pool and piles of skeletons, stacked like mountains.
Fran’s face turned ashen as he ordered the slaves to be evacuated beyond Central City.
He had Miller send an Alchemy Hut.
Hill recognized at a glance that this was specially designed for the army by Fran; when enlarged, it could accommodate hundreds of thousands.
Fran had probably intended to house these slaves on the freed ships, but the appearance of demons changed his mind.
Hill saw Miller also bring in a painting.
If there really were demons hidden among the slaves, they probably couldn’t hide for long.
The Undead Tribe made short work of the residents of Central City.
After all, those who could remain part of the Neutral Faction here didn’t even total a hundred people.
And it was evident that most of them had Elven bloodlines.
These people were brutally shoved into that Alchemy Hut, sharing a room with the slaves they despised.
Only after passing the test of the painting could these people possibly gain their freedom. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
Fran began to direct the Undead Tribe towards different directions, ordering them to obliterate every Lord’s Mansion in the cities, digging down over a hundred meters.
Hill soon knew why Fran himself hadn’t moved; the next afternoon, the people Fran sent built a Space-Time Cathedral.
The Teleportation Array was officially activated.
The Undead Tribe swarmed to it.
Even those from Hill’s Domain ran there.
Hill suddenly felt a sense of peace and quiet, which was quite nice.
Sitting there for the past few days, listening to their chirping made his head hurt.
Why could just a few people create such a ruckus?
Hill truly couldn’t understand how some people could talk nonstop for three days and nights.
He rested his head on his hand and let out a breath, feeling much more relaxed.
In the following days,
The large number of departing Undead Tribe conquered that land at record speed.
Hill waited a long time, but the Elves and Dwarves made no move.
Why were the Elves and Dwarves just watching as Fran directed the Undead Tribe to occupy all the cities of the Hundred Cities Alliance?
Hill was deeply puzzled.
Until the day Fran had set to summon the Undead Tribe.
Hill saw Fran, in the moment when day and night intersected, quietly clench his fist as he initiated the summoning.
As Fran raised his hand, endless roars echoed among the stars.
The ones acting were from the Dwarven Deity System.
Flames, meteorites, and all sorts of weapons charged directly towards The River of Time and Space.
Compared to the previous Elf Deity System, the Dwarves were more united as they mobilized en masse.
In front of Fran also appeared the Dwarven God of Forging and his Divine Subordinate.
With a Giant Shield floating beside him, Fran’s sword transformed into countless blades, charging at the two Dwarven gods.
Hill looked up at the war in the sky; The River of Time and Space calmly intercepted all attacks.
Silver moonlight flickered, and the Goddess of the Silvermoon accompanied by the Wolf God was there, who swung the silver ring in his hand, but just a moment ago was blocked by the Elven God King.
"Have the Elves conspired with the Abyss?" Silvermoon said with a cold smirk, "That Abyssal Goddess hates you so much yet still accepts you? What did you offer?"
"That’s the Dwarves’ concern!" The Elven God King replied harshly, "I’m just here to revenge the Divine Kingdom!"
Silvermoon sneered contemptuously, and the Wolf God howled towards the moon.
"Just wait until all your descendants are dead! How dare you attack the Forest of the Elves!" The God King gritted his teeth.
"Nature won’t help an enemy." Silvermoon taunted, "Without the forest’s help, let’s see how long your Elves can last!"
"It’s just a legend; what can it do?" The God King said dismissively.
"Just watch!" Silvermoon swung her ring, attacking directly at the Elven God King, "Since you’re here, don’t think of leaving!"
Hill looked at the standoff in the sky; clearly, the Gods of Time and Space could still hold on, after all, the Sun God hadn’t spoken yet.
He watched Fran intently.
Even facing the two Fallen Gods, Fran coped more than adequately.
Even the myriad sword phantoms in the sky often played out Myriad Swords Unleashed.
Was this secretly playing the Ten Thousand Sword Art?
Hill couldn’t help but scoff internally.
Then he suddenly widened his eyes—there was a surprise attack from behind!
How could this be? Legends simply didn’t have the capability to enter within Fran’s defensive range!
Luckily, Fran seemed well-prepared, as the Giant Shield danced to block the surprise attack with a sword.
"Have you completely abandoned your identity as a Human God?" Fran mockingly said, "To actually blood-sacrifice all your followers!"
Hill saw a humanoid creature slowly materializing.
He had completely transformed into the image of an Evil God; even though his left hand held a shield and his right a sword, they looked like they were mired in mud.
The once Human God of Smithing and Craftsmen, who charged at Fran in silence, was lastly stopped by a slowly emerging silhouette.
