The person declined twice in a row, so Harvey Cadorette felt awkward to invite again and just nodded, "Alright then, maybe next time."

The girl nodded, glanced at Zevaney Kingsley standing there, her face mostly calm, adjusted the strap on her shoulder, and said to the two, "Harvey, you go ahead with your work. I won’t bother you anymore, I’m leaving now."

"How about I walk you out?" Harvey still felt guilty about what happened earlier in the day and offered.

But Nathalie Quinlan politely declined, "Really no need, you guys chat."

After speaking, she left first.

As soon as she left, Agnes Baker, Williansen Barness, and Wincent Sullivan all also began to say goodbye to Harvey Cadorette.

Just like Nathalie Quinlan, all three seemed as if they didn’t see Zevaney Kingsley, not even offering a courtesy greeting, and just left.

The 8th Grade laboratory folks aren’t easy to connect with, so far she only knows Harvey Cadorette and Leony Davidson; it’s tough for her to blend into the 8th Grade laboratory circle.

Harvey Cadorette specifically organized the event, giving Nathalie the opportunity which she didn’t appreciate and chose to dine with an outsider.

Purely ridiculous!

As Zevaney Kingsley thought about it, she felt a little better.

Yet Harvey Cadorette didn’t notice her little thoughtfulness, regretfully looking in the direction Nathalie and the others left, sighed, and said, "Yes, even though they aren’t members of the 8th Grade laboratory, I have high hopes for these rookies. Especially that girl among them called Nathalie Quinlan; I think she has a great talent, I’d still like to give her a boost if there’s a chance."
