Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer
Chapter 891 - 379: Flower Fairy / Parting the Sea
The figure within the light slowly formed, and through the glow, one could now see its outline.
It was a graceful female silhouette, and Alka could roughly discern that the shape of the outline was likely the Flower Fairy.
As the light condensed, the colors in the sky also began to change.
The eternally unchanging blue sky shifted under the summoning of the Divine soon to awaken.
This was the first time Alka and they had seen the sky change.
Even the eternally fixed sun seemed to begin moving.
Previously, beyond the drifting clouds, nothing else ever changed in this sky.
Taking advantage of this moment, a more intense light radiated from Alka's eyes.
He shifted his gaze from the Flower Fairy to the sky, where he saw more conspicuous light spots.
The sky's transformation seemed to disturb a light curtain used for concealing detection, allowing Alka to see a peculiar scene.
Amid the dazzling sunlight, there were different light spots.
He looked through the blinding sunlight at the eternal sun.
Within the sun, different colored light spots flickered, so familiar were these spots.
Watching these light spots, Alka stared unblinkingly, determined to uncover the secrets within.
Red light spots appeared.
One, two, three.
Then came more orange light spots.
Circling around the three central red spots, there were as many as eight.
Finally, Alka's eyes became exceedingly sore, and he quickly looked down and closed his eyes. Tears dripped from the corners of his eyes.
He covered his eyes with his hands, unsure if it was the intense light or something else causing the irritation.
Even in the darkness of his closed eyes, he could still see flickering afterimages.
These afterimages seemed to form peculiar symbols, only to vanish in a flash.
Feeling the sharp pain from his eyes, Alka immediately began to check if anything was amiss with himself.
Hoping his rash investigation wouldn't lead to issues.
Thankfully, other than the intense light hurting his eyes, no other problems arose.
The surrounding crowd's gaze was entirely focused on the blooming Celestial Flower, watching the condensing light.
The figure of the Flower Fairy captivated the attention of everyone present.
No one noticed that Alka had shifted his gaze to a higher place.
After resting for a while, Alka slightly opened his eyes.
One could see the bloodshot veins filling his eyes.
A gentle breeze blew through, and once again, everyone's being was washed with the Energy of life.
With another wave of Energy, the bloodshot veins in Alka's eyes vanished instantly, and the soreness in his eyes disappeared as well.
These waves would recur periodically.
Alka gazed at the Celestial Flower.
Yet he pondered over the anomalies in the sky caused by the complete awakening of the Flower Fairy.
The sun seemed completely different from what he imagined.
Come to think of it, which sun remains fixed in one direction, never rotating?
No matter from what distance you view it, it always seems to be in the same place.
The sun is composed of many powerful Divine Essences gathered together.
Is it a living Divine being? Why has no one ever heard of it?
Or is it a great Treasure formed by the fusion of Divine Essences?
Alka could only speculate based on what he saw.
Taking a deep breath, he shook off the thoughts in his mind and refocused on the Celestial Flower.
Suddenly, the light contracted.
The sound of prayer from the crowd, the sound of wind in the air, and all sorts of noises disappeared in an instant.
It was as if entering a silent world.
Sensing this change, all the devotees quietly closed their mouths.
Greenery began to spread from beneath their feet.
It extended rapidly beyond the Land of Fragrance, to places unseen by the eye.
The green earth spread wider and faster.
People who still remained in various places of the Land of Spirits all stopped.
Gliding their small boats, they sailed on the marsh, watching as their vessels were forced to come to a halt, protruding out of the water.
As the green aura washed over, those distant areas previously impacted by undead disappeared.
This green aura expanded outward until it reached the boundary of the Land of Spirits, then it transmitted downward into the Land of Spirits.
"Boom! Boom!"
A violent rumble came from beneath everyone's feet, and the entire Island began to shake vigorously.
With violent tremors.
The seawater on the marsh of the entire Land of Spirits began to recede.
No, that's not right.
The entire Land of Spirits began to rise.
Vines started to interweave, becoming thicker, one layer after another, madly interlacing and entwining, tightly woven together.
One layer after another of flower and grass vegetation began to spread above.
At the boundary of the entire Land of Spirits, the sound of vines snapping began to emerge.
The cracking sound rang out wildly. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
The connection was severed.
This piece of the Land of Spirits detached from the Sea of Moisture.
From a high altitude looking down, you could see the Sea of Moisture resembling a continent. It lost one-quarter of its area.
The missing part was the Land of Spirits, which became a solitary island, detached from the Sea of Moisture.
Alka could see the roots of the Celestial Flower begin to spread towards an unknown plane.
Rooted in the space around it.
Then firmly binding, as if anchoring itself in place.
At this moment, it was difficult to comprehend what significance these changes held.
