"Aren’t you going to divorce me? I thought you wouldn’t want me to go back with you now." Diwu Zexuan teased as he looked at her.

Hearing Rui Hui mention taking him home, the pent-up anger slowly dissipated.

His enchanting eyes, filled with a peculiar light, stared intensely at Rui Hui.

"Then you don’t go. I’ll go back myself." Rui Hui blinked and clapped her hands happily.

If Diwu Zexuan would let her go home alone, she would be truly grateful!

Then, just as Rui Hui finished speaking, she realized the assistant had already driven the car out of the Selter family’s property, and Diwu Zexuan’s hands were still tightly wrapped around her waist.

Sure enough, she thought too much. How could he possibly let her go home alone?

After a whole day of exhaustion, Rui Hui felt sleepy even before reaching the Adolf family house.

Worried that Diwu Zexuan would check her body and find out it wasn’t a stomachache, she pinched her thigh to keep herself from falling asleep.

When Diwu Zexuan carried her back to the room, Rui Hui slipped under the covers, wrapping herself completely with the blanket.

"Weren’t you hungry? I’ll have someone make porridge for you." Diwu Zexuan pulled her out from under the covers, touched her forehead to find her temperature normal, and was about to check her pulse.

Before he could touch her, Rui Hui withdrew her hand and shrank back under the covers.

"I feel much better, but I’m really tired now. Can I sleep first?" Rui Hui blinked her alluring eyes pitifully, biting her lip, pleading as she looked at Diwu Zexuan.

She almost wanted to say she was a doctor too, and she felt fine.

"Alright."

Diwu Zexuan noticed her avoidance and assumed she was unhappy with him chasing after her. He hesitated for a moment and then lay down with her.

"There’s a guest room next door, don’t sleep here!" Rui Hui, seeing the man turn over and lie next to her, sat up like she had been shocked, raising her foot to kick him.

"Wherever my wife is, that’s my room. Or are you sleepless and want to do something else with me?" Diwu Zexuan easily grabbed her foot, pulling it into his arms to warm it.

His deep eyes shone with an oily glint, gazing suggestively at the pouting Rui Hui.

"I’m so sleepy. Sleep wherever you love." Rui Hui shivered all over from his gaze, rolled over with the quilt, and pretended to be dead.

She was indeed tired.

While pretending, she soon fell asleep.

She slept deeply, so deeply that she felt the person beside her leave, wanting to open her eyes but unable to.

She had never been so lethargic, her body felt as if it were weighed down by stones, unable to move at all.

Suddenly opening her eyes, she saw the bright sunlight outside the window. Rui Hui stared for a good ten seconds before slowly coming back to her senses.

Turning her head to look, the room was already empty.

Where did Diwu Zexuan go?

Rui Hui lifted the quilt, quickly ran to the door, and pulled it open, only to find the living room empty as well.

This was a golden opportunity!

Without a second thought, Rui Hui changed her clothes, walked to the living room, and asked the butler.

"Mr. Zexian was called away by the master, seems there’s something important to discuss. He should be in the study now."

"I have something to go out for. If Diwu Zexuan asks, just say I’m relaxing in the garden and will be back soon." As Rui Hui finished speaking, she gave the butler no chance to refuse and turned to run outside.

She got in the car and drove towards the pharmacy.
