365-Day Trial Marriage With Hunk: Wife's A Little Wild
Chapter 2307: No News Is Good News
The two of them just stood there, neither making a move to comfort the little one.
The little one cried so sorrowfully, as if feeling abandoned by his parents, puckering his little mouth in grievance and wailing loudly.
Tears streamed down from the corners of his eyes, his small hands waved in the air, fingers flexing slightly.
He sobbed, utterly pitiful.
In the end, he cried himself to sleep.
"Master, it seems he won’t wake up." The assistant looked at Yu Xiuzhun, who still hadn’t woken up, and stepped forward in disappointment, "Do we need to put the child in an incubator?"
Premature babies generally have weaker constitutions and need to be observed in an incubator for a while to ensure there are no other physical problems before they can leave.
They had brought the child immediately after birth to stimulate Yu Xiuzhun.
The little one, exhausted from crying, fell asleep beside Yu Xiuzhun.
A soft, small bundle snuggled up next to Yu Xiuzhun, with similar features that were so heartwarming no one wanted to disturb them.
Just as Diwu Zexuan was about to step forward and pick up the little one, her long eyelashes suddenly fluttered, and she opened her eyes tremulously, looking at the world in bewilderment.
Her large, dark eyes tilted to see Yu Xiuzhun beside her, blinking twice.
Her little mouth smacked, making a soft whimpering sound.
"She actually opened her eyes. This little girl is quite a surprise, what a clever one." Diwu Zexuan stepped forward, reached out to pick her up, and looked down at her.
Facing his silver pupils, the little girl suddenly broke into a smile.
A warm smile, indescribably cute.
Even the usually cool Diwu Zexuan couldn’t help but soften his gaze, tapping her small cheek with a long finger.
"It seems you’re different from your father. You’re quite charming. Go bring the mobile incubator over, we’ll observe her in there for a day first."
"Yes, Master." The assistant quickly left.
Holding the little bundle of warmth in his arms, Diwu Zexuan glanced again at Yu Xiuzhun, who still hadn’t awakened. His eyes flickered as he stepped out of the ward.
He instructed someone to close the passage between the two wards again before heading towards the door of the ward.

"I clearly heard an infant crying. Logically, the baby should have been born, so why is there still no news?"
Qin Youxuan stood up from her chair, pacing the corridor nervously.
Her hands rubbed together constantly, afraid something might go wrong with Ye Mingmei.
"Don’t worry, no news is good news." Dan Hanjie’s deep black eyes flickered slightly, his tall figure moving to Qin Youxuan’s side, wrapping her in his arms.
His alluring face devoid of any excess expression.
It seemed as if no one else mattered to him except Qin Youxuan.
His gaze fell on Jin Chenye, who was also watching Qin Youxuan, and his eyes deepened slightly.
Jin Chenye’s gentle eyes flickered for a moment as he shifted his gaze away.
He had already let go of Qin Youxuan, now only hoping that Ye Mingmei would give birth smoothly. Once he knew she and the baby were safe, he would depart for home.
From now on, they probably wouldn’t contact each other much anymore.
Hearing footsteps by the door, Jin Chenye quickly turned around.
The next second, he saw the door to the operating room open from the inside.
The first to come out was Diwu Zexuan.
His hands were empty, holding nothing.
"Where’s the baby?"
Qin Youxuan leaned forward to ask, just about to speak when Rui Hui squeezed past her.
Rui Hui wasn’t as gentle, circling Diwu Zexuan without seeing the baby, peering into the operating room, still seeing nothing.
