The night descended, and Wan Lan fell silent.

The entire island lay in a tranquil order.

Xiao Nan guarded the door, hearing it open, and looked up, seeing the girl step out, still clad in that pure white long dress, emerging as somewhat unreal under the resplendent lights.

She was momentarily stunned.

Just as Yun Ya was stunned, the elevator doors slowly closed before her, and it gradually descended.

Yun Ya looked at the mirrored ceiling, her entire being inverted, suddenly stumbling back against the mirrored wall, taking a deep breath.

In the enclosed space, reflections were everywhere, like a cage, leaving no place to hide.

Dizziness overcame her, her fingers clenched into fists, slowly bending her body.

Xiao Nan quickly supported her, looking on with concern.

Yun Ya waved her hand, "I’m fine...."

She bent down, looking at her face reflected in the mirror beneath her feet, her eyes gradually deepening, converging into an unfathomable cold pond.

With a "ding," the elevator stopped, the doors slowly parted.

She confirmed that the elevator led underground, so now she was actually beneath the earth.

She walked forward step by step, the light of the Luminous Pearl unable to penetrate the darkness, she kept walking until suddenly a beam of white light appeared...

A massive cage lay at the end of the darkness, the white light spilling down like sunlight, illuminating every dark, damp corner meticulously.

The enormous cage was partitioned into four rooms, with bars facing her direction, everything inside in full view, while the other three sides were walls.

Seeing everything inside, Yun Ya gasped, her face pale, stumbling back, falling to the ground.

Her dilated pupils filled with deep terror, lips pale and trembling, even if the sky were to fall it wouldn’t make her furrow her brow, yet now, what had she seen to make her usually composed self so beside herself?

"No..." she crawled up and turned to run, tears rolling down her cheeks like beans, but she had no time to wipe them away, however, the path seemed endless, so long, until she stumbled once more. As she lay on the ground, she suddenly heard a painful howl behind her, sending chills down her spine.

Yun Ya clutched her head, shaking it vigorously, "Why?"
