Standing before the pavilion is a handsome young man, graceful and somewhat delicate in appearance, exuding elegance and charm. He is Yang Bi, a fellow countryman of Chen Shi.

Chen Shi strides forward with a laugh, saying, "In this world, there are only two people who can swiftly observe a large number of enemies, analyze the characteristics of each enemy's cultivation techniques and divine skills, and formulate strategies to kill them: Li Tianqing and Yang Bi of the Upper Realm." 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

When Li Tianqing ascended to the Heavenly Immortal Realm, there was only Yang Bi left in the Earth Immortal Realm. I heard that Huangfu Jun was ambushed and grievously injured, and his opponent fully demonstrated Li Tianqing's style. I suspected that it was you who ambushed him!"

He approached Yang Bi, bowed deeply, and laughed, "Daoist Yang, it's been a long time. I recall back in the West Bull New Continent, we faced Despair Slope together as youngsters."

Yang Bi returned the salute with a smile and said, "Back then, the True King was full of vigor, ruling Western Capital, trampling over the young talents of the Fifty Provinces, overturning the Thirteen Families, and flattening Despair Slope. I could only look on with admiration, and dared not consider myself his equal."

The two were once both rivals and friends, later joining forces against Despair Slope. Yang Bi appreciated Chen Shi's righteous deeds and thus lent him assistance, deepening their friendship over time.

Yet Yang Bi never fully yielded to Chen Shi, and now his words of admiration were merely perfunctory.

Yang Bi gestured for Chen Shi to sit in the pavilion.

Though the pavilion seemed simple, its beams and pillars were intricately decorated, appearing quite exquisite.

Inside the pavilion was a table for eight immortals and tea. As soon as Chen Shi sat down, music emanated from the clouds, and numerous elegantly dressed maidens appeared, holding musical instruments like pipa and reed pipes, or with guqin and guzheng placed on their knees. Others raised a hundred and eight chime bells into the air, gracefully dancing with long sleeves and striking the chimes, producing harmonious melodies.

A hundred or so maidens with long sleeves, skirts, and trailing ribbons walked from the clouds, dancing gracefully to the music, stunningly beautiful.

Chen Shi's body was originally a form focused on the senses, and although his consciousness could restrain his desires, facing so many beauties, his temptations stirred uncontrollably, making it difficult to maintain control over his body.

Chen Shi glanced at Yang Bi, thinking, "He lived with Li Tianqing for so many years, mastering most of Tianqing's skills. While observing Huangfu Jun, he also observed my nine dirt bodies. He knew this body was focused on the senses and thus arranged these fairies here. This targets my vulnerabilities!"

Yang Bi raised his cup solemnly, "Thank you, True King, for recommending me to Doumu, a debt of gratitude I will always remember. Without your endorsement, I would still be wandering and adrift in the Earth Immortal Realm. I toast you with tea instead of wine!"

Back then, he and Li Tianqing believed that remaining in the West Bull New Continent would never allow them to surpass Chen Shi's achievements, so they left.
