Anze Master holds a high position in the Western Heaven; he is the protector of the Western Heaven Huacang World, with a round belly and always smiling, resembling a Maitreya Buddha. Privately, some also call him Little Maitreya.

Although not a Buddha, he has cultivated to the Taiyi Golden Immortal Realm, with unfathomable power.

The Great Sun Buddha was summoned by the Ancient Lamp Buddha to go on a mission, leaving in haste without Anze Master.

The Master stayed in Huacang World, practicing diligently, never daring to be idle for a single day.

One day, Anze Master and some fellow protectors, were studying Primordial Talismans, discussing the matter of Great Sun Buddha inviting the Dharma Transmission Ancestor, engaging in lively debate.

A monk said, "I was cultivating Primordial Talismans when, unknowingly, I raised the Perfect Enlightenment Scripture to the realm of Bright Moon Illuminating Ten Directions, nearly attaining perfect enlightenment. These talismans are indeed powerful, allowing me to unconsciously overcome obstacles! Upon awakening from the Twenty-four Layers of Meditation, I offered incense to express gratitude for the Dharma Transmission Ancestor’s favor."

Other monks chimed in, "Offering incense for helping a brother attain perfect enlightenment is right!" "While I was cultivating Primordial Talismans, I also made breakthroughs. I haven’t yet offered incense to the Dharma Transmission Ancestor, but I should do so soon!"

Anze Master intervened, breaking up the conversation with a stick, angrily saying, "What Dharma Transmission Ancestor? They are all demons sowing discord! The talismans come from the Immortal Court, not created by Great Demon Chen Shi. The Immortal Court sent us the Primordial Talismans, unrelated to the demon by the surname Chen. The demon calls himself Teacher, but is a remnant of the Jie Sect, and resides in Penglai West, a region rife with demonic activities; clearly not a good person!"

The monks hesitated upon hearing this.

The monk who cultivated the Perfect Enlightenment Scripture said, "The Master speaks rightly. Yet, the talismans shared by the Immortal Court, although exquisite, pale in comparison to those transmitted by Daoist Ancestor Chen. Who the creator truly is remains to be determined."

The other monks nodded repeatedly.

An old monk said, "The Immortal Court imposed several conditions when sharing these talismans, compelling Western Heaven to join in the campaign against the Immortal Court, causing turmoil in Nirvana, many brethren died, numerous temples were destroyed, and countless Zen Masters lost their legacies."

A young monk added, "When Mr. Chen shared the talismans, the Immortal Court ceased its troubles; the Buddha Immortal and divine beings need not fight anymore, allowing us to meditate and seek enlightenment in peace. Is this not boundless benevolence?"

Anze Master was further incensed, laughing in fury, "Mr. Chen shares talismans with good intentions? Why did Old Buddha Lamp Buddha insist that the Buddha should invite Great Demon Chen Shi to Western Heaven? Old Buddha saw through Mr. Chen’s scheme, knowing he left vulnerabilities only he could exploit in the talismans, thus inviting him to Western Heaven to subdue his demonic heart and save you, a group blinded by ignorance!"

The old monk said, "What the Master said is reasonable. I also heard that aside from dispatching the Buddha, Old Buddha Lamp Buddha also sent several Ming King brothers from Lingjiu Mountain, who were once great figures in the Demon Path or were formidable Outer Dao demons with terrifying ferocity, committing countless evils. Old Buddha sending them might be to claim Mr. Chen’s life."

Anze Master sneered, "Old Buddha sent Ming King brothers, yet Maitreya Buddha, Tathagata, did not dispatch other Ming Kings? The minds of the three Buddhas are clear and transparent."

The monk who practiced the Perfect Enlightenment Scripture said, "Nevertheless, Mr. Chen bestowed upon us the favor of transmission, offering incense is proper; otherwise, our Dao Heart will not find peace, hindering progress in Buddhist Law."

Some monks hesitated, saying, "The three World Honored Ones might disregard Mr. Chen’s favor of transmission, but we cannot. Disrespecting incense would unsettle our Dao Heart, causing doubt, and hindering cultivation progress."

Just as the monks were speaking, Anze Master suddenly sensed unusual fluctuations from his Dao Realm, startled within.

His Dao Realm, known as Yuan Kong Realm, is a world near the Dark Sea. He ascended early, when the Earth Immortal Realm did not have many Immortals; everyone with some power and influence ought to harmonize in the Earth Immortal Realm, then refine their Dao Realm and hide it to avoid exploitation.

He did the same, refining and hiding the entire Yuan Kong Realm, undiscovered for years, yet now his Dao Realm was being invaded, which alerted him.

"In this world, those capable of invading my Dao Realm are only Houtu, Jade Emperor, and Ksitigarbha among few Divine beings. Could it be one of them?"

Immediately, his Divine Sense swept through Yuan Kong Realm, soon discovering an unknown passage.

Anze Master hesitated briefly before descending upon Yuan Kong Realm.

Followers had embraced Buddhism due to his influence, and upon his descent, they all bowed in worship.

Anze Master felt incense flourish momentarily, gaining slight reassurance.

When Divine beings descend upon a Dao Realm, it is a method of gathering incense also known as Manifestation of Divinity, revealing True Body and divine signs before mortals to reinforce faith.

Periodically, he must descend upon Yuan Kong Realm for Manifestation of Divinity, gathering incense to boost strength. Especially after cultivating Primordial Talismans, his descent frequency increased several folds.

Yet today, he has no time to gather incense to elevate cultivation.

Anze Master gazed at the passage, waiting for the other’s arrival, anxious deep within.

"If it is the Jade Emperor, I should surrender immediately, his generosity won’t kill me. If it’s Houtu, I should bow for guidance, her kindness won’t punish me. If it’s Ksitigarbha, I should reason with her, Ksitigarbha likely won’t act against me."

After a brief wait, he suddenly saw the passage explode, a silhouette rushing out, arriving at Yuan Kong Realm!
