After Giving Birth, All My Beast Ex-Husbands Suddenly Want Me Back - Chapter 232: You should leave
Nina gently stroked Shushu’s back, soothing his emotions, before lifting her gaze to Setan.
"...Setan," she said softly, choosing her words with care, "you’re a good person. But we’re not suited for each other. With your status, you can find someone far more suitable."
She didn’t understand why his attitude toward her had suddenly changed, but she had no intention of becoming entangled with him.
"Then can you tell me why we’re not suitable?"
A flicker of hurt crossed Setan’s eyes.
Whatever it was, he could change.
Yes, with his status, he could have any female he wanted.
But there was only one Nina.
And she was the only one he wanted.
Yet she was telling him to find someone else.
A dull ache spread through his chest, his voice low and strained. "I don’t want anyone else."
Only you.
Before Nina could respond, Yanai stepped forward, positioning himself in front of her.
"Why don’t you tell us?" His tone was cold, edged with mockery. "Weren’t you the one who said you had no interest in Nina? Weren’t you the one keeping your distance all this time? So what exactly are you pretending to be now?"
This sudden change—there had to be something behind it.
Shushu turned his head as well, glaring angrily at Setan.
"And you pushed Mom! You made her fall!"
He remembered everything.
He didn’t like this bad lion at all.
Yanai’s expression darkened instantly. "You pushed her?"
His anger surged, his gaze turning icy as he demanded, "If you don’t even like her, then why are you pestering her now?"
"I’m not..." Setan faltered. How could he explain? That he had avoided her because he thought the female he’d been searching for was someone else? That he had mistaken another for her?
Would that only make her hate him more?
Even he felt disgusted with his past behavior now.
He really had been a fool.
"Can’t explain it?" Yanai sneered. "And what about you and that Zena? Don’t you know what kind of relationship you have with her?"
Entangled with another female, yet daring to chase after Nina?
Setan immediately shook his head, anxious. "Little female, I really have nothing to do with Zena. I only helped her once when she was being bullied."
And because of her misdirection...he had mistaken her for you.
But he didn’t dare say the rest.
Not yet.
He would tell Nina everything eventually.
But right now...he was afraid. Afraid that if he spoke, he wouldn’t even have the chance to stay.
Nina’s expression remained calm. "I believe you."
Setan’s eyes flickered with hope—
"But," she continued evenly, "whatever you have with Zena doesn’t concern me. You...should leave soon. Still, thank you for warning me about Yosan."
"Little female..."
The color drained from Setan’s face, his eyes stinging.
She was asking him to leave.
He clenched his fists, about to plead, but just then, Odian strode in, eyes bright with excitement.
"Nina, I need to talk to you."
"Alright." Nina nodded, then turned back to Setan. "You should go."
With that, she left with Odian.
The others cast Setan a final glance before following her inside.
At the doorway, Ghost Wolf and the others stepped forward, silently making their stance clear.
Setan stood there, staring at Nina’s retreating figure, then suddenly raised his hand and slapped himself hard.
How had he done so many stupid things?
Now she disliked him. She wanted him gone.
What was he supposed to do?
If only...if only he had recognized her the very first time they met.
How could he have been so blind?
His heart had recognized her long ago.
But his mind had chosen to run away.
He glanced at Aviel and the others following behind Nina, and suddenly the memory of that day at the hot spring surfaced in his mind.
If only he hadn’t walked away that day...
If only—
Regret flooded Setan’s eyes, spreading through him like a barren wasteland of missed chances.
Ghost Wolf and the others stepped in front of him. "Lady Nina asked you to leave."
Setan cast one last lingering look toward Nina’s room, then lowered his head and walked away, defeated.
At the doorway, he paused and looked back, fists tightening.
He wouldn’t give up.
He would earn her forgiveness.
He would stay by her side.

Back in the room, as soon as Nina entered, Odian immediately set up a soundproof barrier.
"Nina, the High Priest has sent word. There’s a way to break the curse."
The moment he learned Nina had been cursed, he had already sent a message back.
Previously, he had suggested taking her to Phoenix City—partly because breaking the curse might require special resources there, and partly because if even the High Priest couldn’t resolve it, they could at least discuss a solution together.
Nina’s eyes lit up. "What way?"
"The High Priest said we need to go to Sky Star Forest. There’s an altar there, and the Star Source on it can remove any curse."
"Sky Star Forest? Is it far? I don’t have much time," Nina asked.
"About five days," Odian replied.
"Five days..." Nina frowned slightly. "That’s cutting it close."
She then briefly recounted what she had seen and heard that morning.
The expressions of the males darkened with concern.
They had to remove the curse as soon as possible.
They couldn’t let her fall under that being’s control.
"Nina, it’s alright. Once we get out, I...I can try setting up another teleportation array to speed things up," Odian said.
This time, he wouldn’t lose her again.
"And the blockade outside the city?" Nina asked. "When can we break it?"
"I’ll do my best to break it tomorrow."
"Alright—but don’t push yourself too hard," Nina said softly.
She knew it wouldn’t be easy. She didn’t want him getting hurt.
"I know my limits. You don’t need to worry about me," Odian replied gently.
But a ruthless glint flickered in his eyes.
For her, he would pay any price.
Nina nodded. "Then let’s start packing and prepare."
Once the curse was broken, she would come back—and settle things with Yosan.
The males all nodded and moved quickly into action.
After a moment of thought, Nina took Sal and Mino with her to find Zena.
When Zena heard Nina had come, she hurried out to greet her, smiling brightly.
"Nina, you’re here!"
"Zena, I came to say goodbye in advance," Nina said.
Zena’s expression dimmed slightly. "You...you’re leaving?"
Is she leaving me behind too?
"Yes. I need to leave for a while," Nina said. "But don’t worry—I’ll come back. And I’ll find a way to free you from that being. Though...he’s extremely powerful. I can’t guarantee anything."
Even if she couldn’t deal with that entity immediately, Yosan had to be handled.
The light returned to Zena’s eyes. "Alright. I’ll wait for you."
She believed in Nina.
She bit her lip, hesitating, then asked softly, "Nina...would you be willing to hear my story?"
For some reason, at this moment of parting, she suddenly wanted to tell her everything.
