 The envoy moved, it body became a red streak of light as it flew towards them. Naledi met it head on while Cat and Haruko flanked it left and right side.
 When it fist met her sword a layer of ice covered it entire arm but the force behind it punch sent her reeling 3 metres back.
 Her body was definitely weaker that it was but her will could match it, it was even a bit stronger even though she was an entire rank below below it.
 This was due to her divine vessel, the strength of her will was ridiculously stronger than those of the same rank as her.
 The envoy flexed it arm and the ice shattered, Hakuro drew his sword and slashed it side but a white bone armour covered it body.
 Sparks flew as the sword met the bone armour, it failed to cut through. He jumped back but it was too late, it punched to the side and even though he blocked he still coughed a mouthful of blood as he was sent flying.
 Fortunately Cathra’s domain healed him and Ndu replaced him. Cat sent a punch at the envoys face, her entire body was red and steaming hot with thick veins running across her entire body.
 This was an ability of her vessel, the wine gourd, it can brew wine as long as she provides it with the ingredients and can produce wine with different effect.
 This one increased her speed and made her attacks burn. The air ignited as her fist flew at the envoy.

 </div> It did not dodge but instead blocked her punch with a single hand, the shockwave sent a blast of hot air that ignited the surroundings into flame.
 A bone greatsword appeared on it hand and slashed at her but before the sword could land it was blocked by a giant ice hand that grew from the ground.
 Icicles fell from the sky but shattered against it armour. They all retreated and opened space from it.
 Then Aira’s bird cage glowed gold and golden chains materials from thin air and binded it body, before it could break them a giant hammer landed on it head and shattered the ground beneath it feet.
 A giant silver bird shot a ray of silver light at it them a punch landed on it head followed by a silver crescent sword slash, each attack landed on the exact same spot.
 Just as it broke the chains a blue sword stabbed it and a crack appeared on it armour. A cold energy pierced into it body.
 Naledi retreated after that attack, she had expected it to attack her immediately but it did not, instead it stood there and looked at them then it eyes grew colder.
𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎 It was nolonger indifferent which was more terrifying. Then the vertical eye on it forehead glowed white, a misty white light covered it entire body and it aura grew.
 Before any of them could react it moved, it body blurred towards Siri and her beast, a giant bear stood infront of her defensively.
 The envoy punched out, the air exploded and the bear shattered into blood mist and Siri was sent flying coughing a mouthful of blood, the punch itself did not even touch her.
 Then it turned it attention to Ndu, the big guy did not back down, a giant projection of his hammer appeared in the sky and descended to the envoy like a heavenly mandate.
 The ground shattered and dust and stone filled the air. " Watch out!’ cried Naledi but it was too late.
 It bone covered fist flew towards his head, if it landed he was sure to die. "Seal" whispered Aira, the envoys body stopped for moment giving Ndu the chance to retreat.
 Aira coughed a mouthful of blood and fell on one knee, her aura became unstable. Naledi held her sword infront of her and closed her eyes.
 " I need you to protect me." They turned their attention towards her, her aura grew, it was steady and slow, a massive amount of essence energy was being drawn to the lotus on her sword.
 Cathra healed Aira and the two of them moved closer to her, Siri also stood next to them, without her guardian beast she would have to depend on Aira for protection.
 The green field grew stronger, a trickle of sweat dripped from Cathras forehead but the regeneration speed of her comrades grew.
 Cat, Ndu and Hakuro stood infront of them and faced the envoy. A white almost transparent haki appeared on Cat’s guard.
 It should be known that awakening haki was much harder for humans than it was for other races especially before one reached rank 4 so this was an impressive feat.

 </div> Infact amongst them only her and Naledi had awakened Haki. She tilted her gourd and a golden liquid dropped to her mouth, she took a few gulps then held the gourd with her left hand.
 The stea m on her body disappeared and it gained a gold metallic sheen instead, her aura became sharper, her claws grew a bit longer and became very sharp.
 This was her skill called "The Drunks Gold." " Guard" whispered Ndu, he became a 4 metres tall giant with thick pulsing muscles and his hammer turned into a giant shield.
 This was the true form of his vessel, it was a giant round shield with paintings of heavy weapons, it had the ability to transform into any heavy weapon at the cost of some lost power.
 His aura grew. Next to him Haruko whispered " Sword of the four seasons: Rise of the Summer sun" his sword glowed orange and the temperature rose higher and higher.
 Siri blew her flute and her last remaining beast pet ignited with blue energy, this was her ability but she hated it. It allowed her soul bonded beasts to ignite their souls to increase their combat power.
 While it does increase their combat power by multiple levels it also results in the beasts death. She sighed, she didn’t like it but she didn’t have any choice this time.
 While this took too long to explain it all happened in a second. Then they moved and so did the envoy and their battle continued.

 Dear readers, I know a lot of you will be unsatisfied with this Chapter, believe me I don’t like it either but I felt it needed to be here so here it is. I’m trying to slowly explain the human cultivation system through these Chapters but it will be made clearer later on. Also I will explain the abilities of these guys later on when they have their moment but not today.</div>
