Chapter 4308 - Incompetence Is Fatal

How did it feel to be surrounded by a billion astral giants, each over a thousand meters tall? All Tianming could see was a sea of stars; it was impossible to count them all.

Sensing a potent threat, the two skypole stars beside him erupted in a brilliant display and formed a shimmering black-and-white shield around him. But the enemy had yet to strike.

Word of Yueling Dui’s death had swept through the Ruinless Zone. The Violetblitz and Yueling cosmic gods now stared at Tianming with fury and hatred. They had him surrounded, but kept their positions, which suggested they were planning something else.

Tianming knew that he was their real target. The actual fight would be a clash between primocosmic gods. Lingfeng’s effortless slaughter of the enemy forces was a perfect example. In fact, large numbers were a hindrance when primocosmic gods fought; they would only interfere and obstruct. So all they did was blockade him in. Their objective was simply to stall him until the arrival of more than a hundred primocosmic gods.

One after another, primocosmic gods emerged from their ranks, each over 10,000 meters tall. They formed a new inner circle that further contained Tianming.

140 of them—almost all their primocosmic gods had arrived.

His eyebrow shot up as he took in the sheer size of these primocosmic gods. They ranged from a towering 10,000 meters to a staggering 50,000.

They're barely a hundred millennia old, and the tallest is nearly the height of Flameyellow’s imperial-class elders!

Before entering the Realm of Chaos, the chasm between him and the imperial-class elders had been vast, but in the blink of an eye, cosmic gods reaching 50,000 meters had become his opponents.

Given the enemy's immense chaos cosmoforce and vast number of middlekin astrons, it was obvious that Tianming, a mere third-level heavencosmic god, stood no chance against these fifth-level primocosmic gods. The skypole stars were the only reason Tianming could face them with such ease and confidence. He would fight those within his power and leave the rest to the skypole stars.

“Li Tianming!”

From over a hundred primocosmic gods emerged seven radiant young primocosmic gods. They were heroic and possessed an extraordinary presence, their forms ablaze with colorful starlight.

No introductions were needed. Tianming immediately recognized them as Imperator Ji’s other seven sons. They were neatly arranged in a tier: a pair of 50,000-meter cosmic gods, another pair at 40,000, a third at 30,000, and the remaining cosmic god was 20,000 meters tall.

So they’re the strongest primocosmic gods under the age of a hundred millennia in the Realm of Chaos? 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Tianming glanced at them.

Few surpassed them, and most of the other primocosmic gods stood at about 10,000 meters tall. Becoming a primocosmic god within a mere hundred millennia was the very peak of what was possible within the Realm of Chaos.

Naturally, the two young astral giants nearing 50,000 meters tall commanded the attention of everyone present. Just as he suspected, they were the eldest and second scions of Imperator Ji, Yueling Qian and Yueling Kun. Even at 8,000 meters, Tianming only came up to their knees and had to crane his neck to look at them.

"Their looks might differ, but their demeanor and expressions are identical. It’s like they’re from the same mold. That’s some crazy in vitro breeding!"

Tianming was still rather amazed by the sight of these seven primocosmic gods. After all, once imperial sons and daughters became imperatores, Yueling Starcage would continue to grow in power and influence. Perhaps in another hundred millennia, the Realm of Chaos would be dominated by their family alone.

It’s too bad I’m here.

Displaying no fear, Tianming approached the seven siblings.

Yueling Qian’s 53,000-meter-tall frame closed in with overwhelming aura. He lowered his head and looked down at Tianming with indifference.

"How do you intend to explain my eighth brother’s death?" he asked.

"In the Ruinless Zone, incompetence is fatal. What’s there to explain?" Tianming smirked.

The seven of them exchanged a glance, their eyes burning with vengeful fury.

"If that’s how it is, then don't blame us when we stop playing nice," said Yueling Kun. Like Tianming, he had flowing white hair and a handsome yet cold countenance.

"They tell me you’ve been deprived of a father figure since birth. Well good news: I'm here now and I promise to treat you well, 'son.' Now make yourselves comfortable." Tianming laughed.

Since the others were already cursing at him, he might as well see who could be more annoying. Who cares if he had a bad reputation?

His words managed to infuriate these imperial sons and more than a billion cosmic gods across the entire Ruinless Zone.

In a fit of rage, Yueling Qian brought his foot down forcefully on Tianming’s head. The resulting impact was akin to a nova source crashing down. It collided with the two skypole stars beside Tianming, producing a dazzling explosion. The blast propelled Tianming into the encirclement of over a billion cosmic gods. Chaos erupted as dozens of cosmic gods were smashed by the shield formed from the skypole stars.

"Get out of the way!"

They all moved aside.

The seven incensed quasi-imperatores charged forward in a fury so intense and relentless that it was impossible to distinguish one from another. A barrage of stars hammered the black and white shield. With every deafening crash, the impact sent violent, rippling rings across the surface.

"That’s brutal!"

Over a billion heavencosmic gods quickly expanded the encirclement as the other primocosmic gods threw themselves into the battle. Blinding shockwaves generated by their cosmoforce instantly saturated the center of the battlefield. These massive 10,000-meter-tall cosmic gods wielded cosmic relics that ripped through the very fabric of the Ruinless Zone, unleashing complete havoc.

"Kill him! Kill him!" The heavencosmic gods roared, their hearts thumping with palpable excitement. Every last one of them watched with wide eyes, mesmerized by the battle between the primocosmic gods and the resulting devastation.

Further out, tens of billions more watched with bated breath. The destruction of the Ruinless Zone and the ceaseless shockwaves emanating from the battle’s core drew gasps of astonishment from spectators.

"Imperator Ji’s children are so powerful! There’s no doubt they’ll all be imperatores one day.”

They watched the brutal battle rage on without pause. Its sheer intensity was undeniable. For a whole hour, the attacks persisted and the ground shook. The spectators were so engrossed they barely dared to blink as they finally found true pleasure in observing the battle.

"What happened?"

"Did they break the shield?"

They eagerly jostled forward, craning their necks for a better look. As the residual force of the battle finally died down, many primocosmic gods fell back to the outer perimeter.

"They look...”
