Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates
Chapter 262: Bunker? GONE!
Jimmy stood a few feet away from the bunker door, back bent like a banana, with his head leaning forward. He looked like an old man, no doubt, but based on his stance alone one could tell how disappointed he was.
"Yup," He answered, "That was the bunker."
"Dear God…" Anna sighed.
The strong, yet muffled sound of the explosion had managed to wake the ladies up. That, and the way the cave shook, sprinkling a layer of dust particles on their faces, managed to wake them up as well.
They woke up coughing, and were desperate to figure out what was going on.
"What happened!?" Nechi exclaimed, "Did I have a bad dream, or did someone shake me?"
"Something shook you, alright," Anna said, "The bunker exploded."
"Exploded?" She parroted, "What does that mean?"
"It's gone," Anna rephrased, "The bunker is gone, destroyed."
"Oh," Nechi stood up, "Jimmy, are you alright? I know you cared about that bunker a lot."
"I did," He repeated, "I did…"
As his girlfriends gathered around him to support him, some more drowsy than the others, Jimmy paced back and forth a few times. Other than the fact that he had to process the bunker was gone, he also had to figure out what he and his tribe were supposed to do without a bunker to help him.
"Of course it exploded before I could've used it to the fullest," He repeated a few times, "For fuck's sake, I didn't even check out most of the rooms! I had to spend so much time in the cloning room!"
"You had to," Mika added, "We're at war, and you were trying to make sure that we won, Jimmy. Go easy on yourself."
"I suppose you're right," He held his head, "I can't even blame anyone in this world. That God I came on keeps fucking with me, it's clear now."
"What?" Eni raised her head like an aggravated hen, "What does that mean?"
"It doesn't matter," Anna chimed in, "Look at the bright side, Jimmy, this could've gone a lot worse. You know that."
"Yeah…" He sighed, "At least that explosion didn't wipe us the fuck out."
"Yes," She hugged him lightly from the side, "They were up at our noses last night, and not only didn't they kill us, they replaced the door so the explosion wouldn't hurt us. You heard the explosion yourself, it was a controlled blast."
"You dummies are losing your minds again," Eni said, "Using too many strange words… quit that, and let's go eat. I'm hungry."
Jimmy chuckled, "Sure."
Anna was surprised that it took so little to help him feel better. In a way, she was irritated that she hadn't been the one making the final verdict, the one that would convince Jimmy to at least walk away from the bunker, and eat. Within the darkness of the cave, she pouted, and followed after them.
'I gave him logical examples, but he prefers to be practically spat at?' She thought, 'My God… I can't with these people.'
Anna was irritated, and as he dug within her feelings further, she discovered that she was actually hungry. She had a long day yesterday, so the food she had already eaten was burned clean out of her stomach. She had to shit, for one thing, but she could also feel a great wave of hunger creeping in.
Eni, being a Field Runner with a lot of muscles to support, was especially hungry. She was hungry all the time, so this was hardly a surprise.
Jimmy felt that his girlfriends deserved to be pampered, so after they walked out of the cave containing the bunker, and towards the general area within the cavern where everyone else spent a good half of their day, he had them sit down, and propped a campfire. He then lit it.
"I'll get you guys some water," He said, "I don't even remember where I threw my flask, so you have to give me yours."
The ladies gave them their flasks, he filled them in the pool within the cavern, and brought them back. The pool was clean enough, and it hasn't made anyone sick yet, so they weren't hesitant to drink it. After a long, good night's sleep, they were quite dehydrated.
"We have to start salting our meat reserves," He said, as he shared a flask with Anna, tapping her nose lightly, after he noticed that she was irritated, "The croc meat is fresh enough. We'll start with that."
"Sure," Anna smiled.
Jimmy then grabbed five pounds of meat, sliced it up into decent, thin stakes so they wouldn't take long to fry on a stone, and then he started frying them.
The ladies, most of them, felt weird about having Jimmy cooking for them. Ordinarily, they'd love the idea of someone else cooking for them, but they knew that Jimmy was very upset today. He lost the bunker, the one spot that he cared deeply about, and yet, he was here cooking breakfast for them, insisting to pamper them.
Other than Eni the Devourer, the rest of them shared the thought that he deserved to spend the day sulking if he wanted to. He deserved to have some free time to be sad, and process what happened, or he deserved to do whatever he wanted for once.
Anna tried to get him to sit down several times, and take over, but he didn't let her. He was stubborn about the matter. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
He wanted to pamper them, but there was another benefit to his cooking other than making his girlfriends happy. As he looked at the sizzling meat, and the fire roaring, pieces of wood crackling, he could feel himself slipping into a deeper focus.
He couldn't stop thinking about the bunker, and that was where most of his focus resided. It was stashed somewhere within the ruins of the bunker.
'Motherfucking aliens,' He thought, 'Terrence was right to hate them. I bet they didn't even care that we killed one of their own. They saw that cavemen were messing with their technology, and got offended. I bet they didn't fucking like that a cavemen could figure their shit out!'
