Building Interstellar Empire With Universal Synthesis
Chapter 90: VIP
After docking the spacecraft at Aethelgard Spaceport, an official spacecraft from the Elven Royal Guard came to escort Neo, Elena, and Clark to the main planet.
The attendees there were practically bootlicking Neo however they could.
From this, it could be said that the current power running the Elves was very corrupt and greedy.
Why else would they allow selling Elves as slaves to the outer worlds?
"Young master Draven, do you want to visit the special guest Association before you start adventuring in this beautiful world? I promise I will be there to accompany you for no matter how many nights you want," one of the female elves said with a sultry voice, almost pressing her boobs near Neo’s feet.
Neo felt disgusted. Who knew how many men she had slept with.
Nonetheless, he had to maintain the spoiled young master’s persona.
So he replied,
"First of all, it is Garfield. Draven Garfield. If you want my credits, you should at least learn my correct name."
Then he leaned back against the plush velvet seat of the escort vessel, letting a smirk of wealthy arrogance form his face.
"Secondly, I will pass on your offer. I did not cross three light years to play around in a guest association. I am here for business."
The female elf froze, feeling humiliated. But she was also shock that a human had the power to resist an elf’s charm.
Elves are one of the most beautiful races in the universe. Their Beauty, their grace, their nobility, all were top notch.
Most humans would practically beg to spend a night with a beautiful elf such as herself. But this young master was completely different.
She didn’t see lust. She saw disgust.
She quickly masked it all with a professional, subservient smile.
"Of course, Young Master Garfield. My deepest apologies. Where shall we escort you instead?"
"Take me straight to the VIP sector of your grand slave market. I want to see your absolute best. High-tier combat slaves, fallen nobles, and warriors with supreme System compatibility. Do not waste my time with ordinary laborers."
"Right away, Young Master," the elf bowed low, signaling the pilot to adjust their course.
As the luxurious escort craft descended toward the lower commercial rings of the main planet, Neo gazed out the window.
The beautiful, glowing ancient cities gave way to sprawling, heavily fortified auction houses built from dark spirit-metal.
They had captured stars and mastered cosmic energy, yet they still traded their own people like livestock for universal credits.
Elena stood silently behind his left shoulder, her hyper-mecha combat sensors scanning the perimeter for any threats. On his right, Dr. Clark adjusted his glasses, his eyes shining with dark curiosity at the biological specimens they might encounter.
The transport landed smoothly outside a colossal amphitheater illuminated by neon signs and floating holographic price tags.
Thr heavily armed corporate guards lined the grand entrance, bowing respectfully as the trio approached.
They stepped out, immediately greeted by the bustling chaotic noise of the high-end slave market.
"Customers, take a look over here! We have fresh desert dancers! Exotic beauties from the southern kingdoms!" a merchant shouted from the left.
"Move aside peasants! Make way for Lord Varex’s new stock!" another yelled as armored guards pushed through the crowd.
"Look at this one, sirs. He has a strong physique. He’d fetch a fortune in the mines," a fat trader muttered while eyeing a chained beastman nearby.
A fat woman dressed in luxurious crimson silk laughed softly. "Hehe, forget the mines, guests. I’d rather buy someone who is handsome and capable of warming my bed."
Beside them, a young elf girl trembled as a bidder raised her chin.
"Lord! She is so beautiful. Blue eyes, a fresh body. Absolutely perfect to be my son’s plaything."
"Hey you have to pay 10 Credits for her!"
"Damn! I can buy 10 combat slaves with that."
Not just them, rich merchants and warlords from across the galaxy were also bidding on exotic species and ruined elven royalty.
There were also some selling combat slaves in batches, and their Information was displayed onto the monitor above their cages.
Neo obviously couldn’t rely on outside information, as it could easily be manipulated or faked.
He activated his Spirit Eyes to see the true nature of the combat slaves. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
In his vision, he didn’t see living beings of flesh anymore. He saw them through their auras. Ordinary people with no beyonder power had no aura, while rare beyonders had colorful magical auras around them.
Through their size and density, Neo could tell who had the most potential among them all.
While scanning through the batches of slaves, a particular group of elves caught his eye.
They numbered about a thousand, and all looked malnourished and weak.
But they caught his attention because of their combined overwhelming aura that reached up to the sky.
’I must get them. No matter what!’ he thought inwardly.
"Young master Garfield, why don’t you take a look at the elves from the Oceron Forest? They are very strong and capable in brutal warfare from the moment they are born," the female elf said, pointing to a different batch.
Neo ignored her suggestion and went to the batch of skinny elves contained within massive cages, with slave collars around their necks.
They looked as if they were rotting, yet none of them, be it a child, woman, or elderly person, begged for anything. Nor did they cry.
Yet, Neo’s attention was solely fixed on them.
The female attendant, noticing his interest, quickly stepped forward.
"Young master, they are not worth your attention. They rebelled against the King of Aincrad, and now they are suffering for it. Why don’t I show you something else?"
"Hey lady, why are you trying to ruin my business? I need to sell these miserable rats before they die, won’t I?" the fat slave dealer mumbled while he sat lazily on the chair.
"Shut your mouth! I am here to guide our VIP guest."
Neo ignored their banter entirely, noticing the price.
1.5 UC per slave. So 1000 would 1500 UC in total.
He was somewhat satisfied with price. So he said suddenly, "I will buy them!"
Instantly, the entire market quiet.
