Car-hailing Driver: Rewards from Complaints
Chapter 483 - 220: Only a Villain Can Deal with a Villain (Part 3)
Many people from Dragon Country were deceived and went over, never to be heard from again.
If Zhang Lijun handled things with the same mindset as when he was in the country, he would most likely meet a disastrous end.
Zhang Lijun: "Alright! I’ll get ready. Let me know when you’ve arranged everything, and I’ll head to Southern Myanmar immediately."
Yang Chen: "Mm. This matter is extremely important, you must see it through."
Zhang Lijun: "Understood! I’ll do everything I can to get this done well." 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
After hanging up the phone, Yang Chen walked out.
Buffett and Gates were still waiting, and Yang Chen gestured for them to come over.
"I’m really interested in your project, but Dragon Country is clearly unsuitable, the risk is too high. I’ll get in touch with Southern Myanmar, and once there’s news I’ll discuss it with you both," Yang Chen said quietly.
Buffett and Gates nodded and quickly exchanged contact numbers with Yang Chen.
The main event was about to start, so Yang Chen and the others went to the stands.
After half an hour competing with Yang Chen, Schult was in even better form and won the championship with a huge margin, taking home a 10 million prize.
After the race ended, the racetrack management hurriedly cleared the area to rent it out to Chen Lijun.
Yang Chen, following his promise, very patiently taught Chen Lijun how to drift.
At ten in the evening, after eating and drinking their fill, Yang Chen and his friends went to a bar to continue partying.
Everyone got quite drunk, Chen Lijun and Wang Zijun got rooms at a nearby hotel, each with one room to sleep for the night, sobering up the next morning before heading home.
Wang Qian Ni, drunk and acting wildly, insisted on sharing a room with Yang Chen.
Wang Zijun couldn’t drag her away no matter how he tried.
Although Wang Zijun hoped his sister would get along with Yang Chen, they hadn’t even made any real progress yet, and just giving herself away wasn’t right.
Wang Zijun had no choice but to carry her and toss her onto the bed in the next room to sleep.
Since graduating from university, Yang Chen hadn’t had so much fun as he did today.
Today was the happiest day he had in over a year.
Early in the morning, Yang Chen got up and left to continue driving customers.
At noon, Yang Chen ate a simple lunch at a food stall.
While eating, Yang Chen noticed a little rascal scribbling with a small stone on his car.
Though it was just a JAC Refine S3, it was a newly bought car, and Yang Chen didn’t want it scratched up by a naughty kid.
"Hey hey hey, little friend, don’t scribble around!" Yang Chen shouted, quickly running over.
Just then, a woman who was chatting at the store entrance nearby rushed over to pick up the child.
"Oh my, Mao Mao be good, don’t be afraid. Hey, what’s wrong with you? The kid’s so small, and you come yelling like that? You scared my Mao Mao, can you bear the consequences?" the woman reproached.
Yang Chen looked at the scratch on the car door, then retorted, "You were just standing there chatting, not even watching your kid? He’s scratched up my car!"
Woman: "Oh wow, you’re a grown man, yet you’re fussing with a little kid! Oh wow, how petty."
Yang Chen: "Does this have to do with being petty? You were watching your kid scribble on my car, and you didn’t even stop him. Is that how you teach your kids?"
Perhaps because Yang Chen’s voice was too loud and his expression was a bit angry, the child started crying out of fear.
This really upset the woman.
"Oh dear, Mao Mao don’t cry, don’t cry. What’s wrong with you? You scared my kid! I’ll call the police on you! I’ll take the child to the hospital for a checkup, if he’s psychologically traumatized, you’ll have to take full responsibility. Your crappy JAC car is worth a few bucks? Can it compare to my child?" the woman cried.
Damn it, I’ve only ever seen naughty kids and their unreasonable parents online before, and today I got to encounter one in real life.
Yang Chen: "Fine! Call the police now! Go ahead!"
At this time, the restaurant owner and the shop owner next door came out to mediate, asking both sides to calm down.
But that woman just thought it’s only a JAC car, drawing a bit on it doesn’t affect driving at all.
Yet Yang Chen was too fierce, it surely must’ve traumatized her child, and insisted on holding Yang Chen responsible.
The restaurant owner gently pushed Yang Chen back to eat, even offering a free drink, saying: "Handsome, it’s impossible to reason with her. Everyone around here knows her family is problematic! Even calling the police won’t help, the police can’t handle them. You ask for compensation, she might agree but who knows when she’ll actually pay? Last year a passerby got hit with a stone thrown by their kid, total compensation was 5000 bucks, and they still haven’t paid it. If you call the police, her whole family will just lie on the ground, it’s hopeless. They also have two elderly in their 80s at home, the police are afraid of frightening the elders into health issues, so they never seriously deal with them. So, sigh... it’s a losing battle arguing with her."
Jesus, isn’t this a family of deadbeats?
At this moment, that little rascal ran to the restaurant door and taunted Yang Chen with "nya-nya-nya-nya", which was really infuriating.
But after hearing what the owner said, a proper method wouldn’t work on this family.
Yang Chen had a bright idea, picked up the drink nearby, and walked to the door, saying to the little rascal, "Little friend, you did great, and your drawing is excellent. Here, this is your reward."
The little rascal couldn’t resist temptation and quickly took the drink to gulp it down.
Yang Chen continued, "But uncle has a suggestion for you. You see, this plain color is not attractive at all. Drawings should be vibrant, right? Do you see that pink little car? That’s a nice color, you should be drawing on that car. And that blue little car is also nice. If we’re going to draw, let’s make it colorful, right?"
