Continuing deeper inside the small world passing through several powers that all had Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators supporting them from the shadows, it didn’t take long before the overall strength of these Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators reached the Late Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm before one at the very Peak of the Celestial Immortal Realm finally emerged amongst the different branch sects under the Heavens Faith Sect.

However, as he continued pressing forward while investigating these different branch sects along the way, he discovered that even the stronger branch sects under the Heavens Faith Sect didn’t have any direct connection to the religious sect itself. Even the countless cultivation resources being sent back to the Heavens Faith Sect went through a spatial teleportation formation that couldn’t move living beings and could only accommodate cultivation resources.

Of course, with his current comprehension of the Dao of Space, he was more than capable of latching onto the spatial coordinates of the teleportation formation and create a path of his own to where the cultivation resources were being sent.

But... Given that the location of these cultivation resources was the same and should be within the Heavens Faith Sect itself, he didn’t attempt to do something that would undoubtedly end up with him starting a life and death battle with the Heavens Faith Sect. Feeling doubtful that such a powerful power wouldn’t have any formations in place around the collection point for so many cultivation resources that would alert them the second he appeared.

Instead of that, he felt it was far better for him to just slowly make his way through the small world and learn as much as possible about the Heavens Faith Sect before he ended up having to face off against them.

In this process, outside of the fact that he clearly noticed a lack of anyone above the Celestial Immortal Realm the closer to the core of the small world he got, he also noticed the clear absence of anyone from the Heavens Faith Sect no matter where he went.

By all accounts, the Heavens Faith Sect should be a major power strictly in control of the small world that was the twenty seventh floor of the tower, but to date, he hadn’t encountered a single cultivator who was truly part of the Heavens Faith Sect. Only ever encountering the countless smaller branches that couldn’t truly be considered a part of the Heavens Faith Sect and were more so subordinate forces assigned to the role of collecting cultivation resources.

Even when it came to absorbing a new power and making it a branch sect of the Heaven Faith Sect, it wasn’t someone from the Heavens Faith Sect who travelled over to introduce this new power, but instead, it was one of the older and more established branch sects under the Heavens Faith Sect who did this. Even the creation of a teleportation formation specifically designed for unloading cultivation resources that would then end up in the Heavens Faith Sect was established by these older branch sects.

From beginning to end, there was absolutely no sign of the Heavens Faith Sect, let alone any kind of benefit from becoming a branch sect.

If anything, the only real benefit was one would no longer suffer harassment from other branch sect, though compared to the vast quantity of cultivation resources one had to give up after becoming a branch sect of the Heavens Faith Sect, it was hardly worth it.

This also seemed to be something that was understood by some of the smaller forces that decided against becoming branch sects.

Overall, the situation was weird to say the least, but one thing that did become clear was the fact that the strength of these different branch sects under the Heavens Faith Sect were too weak to pose any real threat to him. Having not even one Celestial Lord Realm cultivator amongst them, something he guessed might be related to the Heavens Faith Sect, as they were either controlling the path to reaching the Celestial Lord Realm in a way not much different from how the path to the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm was somewhat controlled by the Southern Central Regio or anyone who broke through to the Celestial Lord Realm was killed or absorbed by the Heavens Faith Sect.

No matter what it was, his interest in the Heavens Faith Sect only deepened over time as he did find himself impressed by how they had essentially established control over a territory the size of the Blue Sea Empire before its fall without needing to send out a single person to ensure continued control and those below them send cultivation resources without skimming some over time.

Even his sect that controlled a far smaller territory still needed to have elders stationed within different branch sects to ensure everything within the territory of the sect followed the sect’s rules and established laws... And even in that case, there were still some people who became greedy and embezzled some of the cultivation resources meant for the sect.

The kind of perfect control that the Heavens Faith Sect had managed to achieve where not even one branch sect he had encountered so far had embezzled anything was odd to say the least and almost made him believe that the people belonging to these branch sects were in fact under some kind of mind control.

Of course, a cursory sweep with his divine sense confirmed that there was nothing wrong with their souls, but he still became increasingly disturbed faced with this seemingly one-sided devotion from the branch sects that were seemingly completely ignored by the Heavens Faith Sect itself.

But since the Heavens Faith Sect was a religious sect and not a traditional cultivation sect like the Star Shattering Sect, this kind of one-sided devotion might be normal for these kinds of organizations who established control through faith.

In the end, he was unable to learn anything of importance about the Heavens Faith Sect during his journey through the small world outside of the fact that their entire faith revolved around a god referred to as the god of heaven or heavenly god.
