After making all necessary arrangements, he went to his personal abode in the mountains to begin a new session of closed-door training.

Although the Supreme Pure Thunder Mansion Cave Heaven was splendid, over the years Lei Jun had made his own abode particularly suitable for himself. The furnishings within were simple. However, with the yin and yang energies circling each other, it conformed to the principles and artistic conception of yin and yang being in harmony and the meeting of the dragon and tiger in the Celestial Master Mansion tradition. Furthermore, it also contained a hint of the profound truths that returned to the Innate and primal essence of existence.

With the cosmos within, the Taoist stage was already present. A three-tiered altar stood in the center; its bottom layer was octagonal, its middle layer was octagonal, and its top layer was round. At first glance, it appeared unremarkable.

However, as soon as Lei Jun entered the three-tiered altar, brilliance lit up.

The first layer was azure.

The second layer was golden.

The third layer was purple.

Lei Jun sat cross-legged on top of the three-tiered altar, calming his mind and consolidating his spiritual energy. Below the altar, a Dharma Banner was raised, known as the Breathing Soil Banner. Above the altar, a Treasure Mirror was suspended, known as the Mysterious Void Mirror.

Within the first tier of the altar’s interior stood a seven-section bamboo stick, shimmering with purple and gold radiance. This harmonized with the overall azure light of the first tier and was Lei Jun’s personally refined Supreme Pure Jade Heavenly Immortal Bamboo.

On the second tier inside the altar, a row of Flying Swords was suspended in the arrangement of the Big Dipper Seven Stars. Centered around them, a hazy starlight glittered, creating a vast and enchanting Star Chart.

The third tier of the altar held a White Jade Great Seal, which was unmistakably the Celestial Master Seal. At this moment, it too shone brightly with purple, gold, and azure lights, intertwining and surging.

Lei Jun, sitting motionless, once again summoned an ethereal column of light visible only to himself above his head, reaching straight into the cosmos and resonating with heaven and earth. The column of light was like a path of radiance, extending continuously upwards, having long left the clouds behind and penetrating deep into the cosmic void. Lei Jun’s consciousness traveled along this path, constantly touching and intuiting the wondrous principles of the vast expanse of time, then incorporating them as part of his own Dharma Essence.

「Time flew by rapidly.」

At this moment, Lei Jun’s mind seemed to fall into a mysterious state beyond thought and non-thought. With his current level of cultivation, his perception of the outside world was extremely keen. Even while cut off from the world and focusing on meditative practice, the passage of day and night was clearly grasped within his consciousness. Yet at this moment, as Lei Jun was immersed in the Taoist Laws, he felt as though he had forgotten the passage of years.

After an indeterminate amount of time, Lei Jun suddenly felt as if he was awakening from a profound dream, emerging from that exquisite state of enlightenment. The path to the cosmos also disappeared at this moment.

Lei Jun opened his eyes; he was still located within his cave mansion. The three-tiered altar quietly shone with purple, gold, and azure lights. But Lei Jun’s sensing of the outside world now was completely different from before. He just quietly observed, as the multiple mysteries of the natural world entered his view. Not just across the cosmos; everything close at hand, whether looking up or down, was clear to see.

Beneath everything in heaven and earth, it seemed as if threads of Tao Containment condensed and manifested as different Talisman Scriptures, displayed before Lei Jun, elucidating their respective principles. If he extended his reach far away, Lei Jun felt as if he was situated in the cosmic void, next to luminous and warm stars, directly observing their changes.

In the Taoist Talisman Sect, the Seventh Layer of Heaven Realm is called Connecting Heaven. Those who Connect Heaven can perceive the underlying mechanisms of the cosmos and the earth. Having cultivated to his current state, Lei Jun had achieved Perfection in the Seventh Layer of Heaven Realm.

His face showed no pride, his expression remained tranquil, and he did not stop there. Instead, he continued to sit quietly on top of the altar, meditating in silence. As he took in the principles of heaven and earth one after another, Lei Jun continued to corroborate them with what he had learned.

Gradually, around Lei Jun’s body, atop the three-tiered altar, specks of light began to emerge, coalescing into one Talisman after another.

Firstly, the stars gathered, forming into the Life Skill Human Script Talismans, manifesting a grand Doumu Star God Dharma as tall as a giant. This colossal Dharma, like a reawakening deity, stood in the center of the Star River. The surrounding Star River then began to twist and turn.

Amidst its rotation, two Talismans appeared simultaneously: one purple, one black. The purple one was the long-unseen Dragon Tiger Mountain direct transmission Thunder Law Heavenly Scripture Talismans. The black one was Lei Jun’s own creation, also now famous throughout the world, the Xuánxiāo Five Thunder Talisman. The two Talismans, one yin and one yang, were like the two opposing dots of the Taiji Yin Yang Fish. They stood opposite yet in harmony, and their interaction prompted the separation of the Star River into yin and yang, setting the whole into motion.

Following that, from either side of the Taiji Yin Yang Fish, a Thunder Dragon rose, extending its vast dragon head. The purple Thunder Dragon, with resounding Dragon Chant and roaring thunder, would have shaken the four directions had Lei Jun’s cave mansion not been prepared beforehand. The black Thunder Dragon, silent and serene, had a frighteningly powerful mana circulating within, commanding respect without making noise.

Thus, with the Doumu Star God Dharma at the center, and the Ninth Heaven Thunder Ancestor Dharma and Mysterious Sky Thunder Ancestral Law Portrait on either side, a grand spectacle—seldom seen among Cultivators of the Seventh Heavenly Layer—now manifested within Lei Jun’s cave mansion.

Centered around the three great Dharmas, four additional sets of Talismans appeared, arrayed in the four cardinal directions: the Spiritual Officer Taliscript, the Heavenly Travel Talisman, the Dual Polarity Heavenly Primordial Talisman, and the Heaven-piercing Earth-penetrating Taliscript. In addition to those manifesting the Circle Stars Array Fight scattered around, these were all Lei Jun’s life-bound Talismans. His other cultivated Talisman Scriptures merged into the Circle Stars Array Fight, transforming into the vast Star Sea surrounding the Taiji Yin Yang Fish.

It was as if more stars were set in motion within the cave mansion; they became points of light, reflecting the rich Global Spiritual Qi being refined and circulated from Dragon Tiger Mountain Ancestral Court, providing an unending supply for Lei Jun’s cultivation. As a High Merit Elder, this was merely one of the basic entitlements.

Lei Jun quietly maintained his spiritual focus and continued practicing in silence.
