Chapter 1143 - 1141: Striving for One’s Dreams
In the changing room, Klein’s wife slowly walked in, her eyes slightly narrowed into two crescents.
She was humming a tune, and those who know Mrs. Klein know that she’s not very interested in some of the trendy songs these days; she always feels that the current pop songs are a bit... too noisy.
Unlike some classic songs from her youth, which always let people immerse themselves.
Most people have this thought, and people a hundred years later will probably think so too.
But the tune she was humming was recently sung by Penny and Nelly for the theme song of "Lynch’s Adventure 2," which is quite strange.
The ladies in the room displayed their figures unreservedly, some were clothed, some were not, as the locker room was all female, they didn’t care about others’ gazes.
These women were all here to work out, recommended by Mrs. Klein to join her.
Fitness doesn’t attract them much; they’re more interested in the "massage" after working out, a full-body relaxation, whole-hearted from the inside out, complete relaxation.
"You seem to be very happy," a lady, invited and who had also applied for a membership card, teased as Mrs. Klein indeed had some smiles on her face.
She nodded but didn’t explain why she was happy and went directly to the locker.
Actually, there are private changing rooms in this locker room, but like other women, she didn’t mind changing her clothes outside.
Just now, she had experienced a journey of extreme physical and spiritual pleasure.
The handsome young man whispered in her ear, asking if she knew of any reliable financial companies in Bupen, as he wanted to borrow some money.
Financial companies, meaning private lending; a few years back, when it was most popular, these companies were everywhere.
At that time, the social economy was rapidly declining, and the financial industry was almost destroyed, a grim society was met with many families’ financial problems.
The Federation is very warm-hearted, there are always many glamorous ladies and gentlemen attending various charity galas, generously donating millions of their wealth to help those in need.
But sometimes the Federation is very cold; just being unable to pay the bill, the bank will take away the house, the car, and everything valuable you’ve worked hard for decades and force you onto the streets.
There is a very interesting process for taking out a loan from the Federation Bank, which is to explain to the bank staff how you would use the loan if you got it.
This is actually a very private matter, yet the bank believes they have the right to know where "their money" will be used.
This clearly invades citizens’ privacy but the law provides them with adequate support.
If the staff feels that the way you plan to use the money is unreasonable, they have the right to terminate the loan agreement and make you reapply...
This also makes it very difficult for people, who genuinely want to get a loan from the bank, to actually get the money; some think that paying bills with a bank loan is not an insurance method, so they won’t agree.
Of course, if you have a house without disputes, a newly bought car, they won’t think that way, they might even approve more money for you, but you’ll need to use your house and car as collateral.
Everyone is eyeing that little bit of valuable stuff that ordinary people have, and the process is so hard to go through.
Conversely, financial companies are straightforward, as long as there is collateral, sign an agreement, and you can immediately get the loan.
Perhaps... the interest rate is a bit high?
But there’s no other way, everyone believes the money they borrowed will be repaid by them...
In recent years, with economic recovery, financial companies have been relatively decreasing, with a large amount of capital flowing into the real economy, promoting the economic recovery process.
This is also an important presentation of capital pursuing profit; capital is always chasing high returns!
Mrs. Klein nodded, she actually didn’t know any financial companies, she was just a housewife, but she liked to pretend to be experienced in front of young people.
Just like those sixteen-year-old girls, nervously touching their waistband while saying, "Yes, I’m very experienced" in such a way.
"Can I know why you want to borrow money?" she lay back onto the massage bed, staring at this twenty-something handsome young man, whose body was full of muscled definition.
Classical bodybuilding fits the human definition of "beauty," unlike the future where muscles would be lumps supported by various drugs.
When Mrs. Klein turned over, the towel fell to the ground; he was about to bend down to pick it up, but was stopped by Mrs. Klein, "Leave that alone, let’s chat first."
A naked body was in front of his eyes, the young man blushing a little, swallowing, "I... I want to borrow some money to open a gym with others."
Then he recounted how a gold medal gym instructor named Wood transformed into a gym owner.
During his narrative, his desire for women gradually replaced by a longing for a bright future; to use a somewhat dramatic description, there was light in his eyes!
Mrs. Klein very much liked this young man full of enthusiasm.
Those with faith, drive, and willingness to strive are the most beautiful people.
"How much do you want to borrow?"
The boy was taken aback, returning to reality, "I’ve saved over forty thousand myself, still short of thirty thousand, I am partnering with five others..."
The partnership is the best way to solve financial issues; working at You’Er Mei for two years now as a fitness coach, they have at least tens of thousands of dollars in savings.
Some people have over a hundred thousand!
Thirty thousand...
Mrs. Klein mused for a moment, then with a mocking smile, she reached out and grabbed the young man’s clothes, "Come up..."
The voice emerged from her throat like a beast’s roar, giving a sense of primal wildness.
The young man was still a bit dazed, but she didn’t care anymore, "Come up, I’ll lend it to you, no interest!"
Finally, the young man bowed to money, which was also the reason for Mrs. Klein’s late arrival.
She was very satisfied, the young body brimming with muscles and explosive strength, and more than enough time made her extremely satisfied.
She and the young man settled on thirty-five thousand bucks, and they would sign a loan agreement without interest. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
Although the whole affair was filled with lust, she was not completely swayed by passion to hand over the money directly, but instead signed an agreement.
Moments later, these ladies left You’Er Mei Gym feeling refreshed.
Everyone was very satisfied with Mrs. Klein’s recommendation. In principle, they hadn’t betrayed their families.
It was just a somewhat peculiar massage relaxation, and they hadn’t crossed any substantive boundaries with those men, so naturally, they remained loyal to their families.
While maintaining loyalty to their families, they also gained immense satisfaction that their families couldn’t offer, which drew them in strongly.
They didn’t know Mrs. Klein had gone beyond boundaries, and perhaps even knowing wouldn’t have shocked them—they might tread the same path as her.
Back home, Mrs. Klein quickly found a lawyer to draft a loan contract, then privately met with the young man.
Upon meeting Mrs. Klein, the young man was very enthusiastic; he even wanted to hug her, but Mrs. Klein stopped him.
She was nothing like she was in the massage room; now she was icy cold, "Hugging is too intimate, that’s not how we associate..."
Then she glanced at the chair opposite her, "Please sit down, here’s the contract, take a look first."
She elegantly held her coffee, taking small sips of the four-dollar ninety-nine coffee, as graceful and respectable as a socialite.
Then she picked up a three-dollar ninety-nine pastry, took a small bite, and with the tip, ten-dollar afternoon tea was nothing out of the ordinary for her.
But for many, it was extravagant enjoyment, for the lower workers in Bupen, namely ordinary people.
Their monthly wage was about four hundred bucks; if they indulged daily in such afternoon tea, they simply couldn’t afford it—after deducting taxes and various bills, the four hundred bucks might just remain two hundred plus, not much more.
That’s the benefit of money; it can adorn one’s life, making every day like a masterpiece!
The young man couldn’t grasp the situation; he signed his name with some restraint and looked at Mrs. Klein in a somewhat humble manner.
After looking it over, Mrs. Klein handed him a check, "Wish you success."
The young man immediately reached out to grasp the check but failed.
He looked at Mrs. Klein somewhat in bewilderment.
"You should say thank you!" she said.
The young man could only bow his head and mutter a thank-you, then simply took hold of the check, exhaling a sigh of relief.
Perhaps with money in hand, his mood improved, and he jokingly said, "Really appreciate it, Mrs. Klein. Without you, I wouldn’t know what to do."
"If this venture fails, and I can’t repay, I really wouldn’t know how to face you."
Mrs. Klein also jokingly replied, "It’s fine; losing money isn’t what’s important, as long as you’re still here!"
The first half made the young man a bit moved, after all... this society is very cold, and someone caring about your feelings is actually nice.
But the second half, made his expression turn quirky.
"If you can’t repay the money, I’ll lock you in the cellar, deducting one buck each time until it’s paid off!"
A spine-chilling feeling!
The young man laughed dryly, thought for a bit, then drank his coffee and stood up, "I need..." he patted the pocket holding the check, indicating something.
Mrs. Klein nodded, "Go on, chase your dreams!"
Watching the young man leave, she leisurely hummed a little tune.
Silver surpassing eighteen bucks made her and her husband’s assets soar again.
Thirty thousand bucks was no longer "big money."
Their couple’s assets were racing towards one, two million!
Perhaps this is a rich person’s life?
She looked at the street outside the window with some arrogance in her thoughts.
