The ice beneath his feet shattered and fissured.

At eighty meters tall, it may not seem immediately obvious compared to ordinary buildings, but calculating three meters per floor for an average apartment, eighty meters is equivalent to a twenty-six or twenty-seven-story building, capable of crushing a ten-story building underfoot.
