Desire Dominion: Every Woman Has A Weakness. He Is Theirs
Chapter 32: The Girl Who Pushed Me on the Train Tracks
Fallen pink leaves drifting at the front of the carriage threshold splatted aside the moment the valve opened with a sharp hiss.
The rushing sound of boots echoed from behind the crowded students standing at a distance, their gazes locked on the vehicle’s dark interior.
"Huh!" Sweat broke across Levi’s forehead when he stopped behind the lewd ladies and bent down, panting. "That was a marathon I will never run again, just to see the appearance of my new concubine."
He inhaled deeply, then straightened himself. His eyebrows narrowed as he squinted at the flicking crimson threads swinging through the air of the vacant space past the entryway.
The whistling sound of cloth echoed as a lady stepped out of the carriage with an hourglass body that screamed of enormous power.
The rays of the crystal sky died when they fell on her flowing crimson silk gown that trailed behind her like a lake of blood. Her deathly pale skin contrasted with her long, wine-colored hair that floated around her shoulders as if suspended in water.
’Is that?’ Levi’s eyes widened when a face he knew in the human world materialized before his eyes. ’How did I forget the name...’
He lowered his head and began scratching his chin slowly, trying hard to recall his earthly memories.
The faces of his earthly crushes all rushed through his mind like a movie without an end, pausing on a peculiar lady he had shot his shot with, the sole reason Levi fell onto the train tracks. ’Maya!’
Chills ran down his spine as he gulped and lifted his gaze slowly upward. The earthly Maya and the Crimson Sovereign’s appearance aligned side by side in Levi’s head when he focused on her deep crimson eyes that possessed no pupils. ’Did she also transmigrate here, or what?’
Breezes of air flew out of his nose and mouth when he moved a step forward and walked past Senna, who stood there with a pale face. ’Wait, when did Maya die?’
Just as the Crimson Sovereign blinked at Levi, a translucent panel shimmered behind Levi’s vision and clouded his eyesight.
[Target: Maya Sirius.]
[Attraction: Obsession.]
[Current Status: Imperial Pride.]
[She views you as a mistake to be erased.]
[Desire Level: 10%.]
[A dark, subconscious fixation on your male energy.]
’So that’s why she made them push me into the train tracks in the human world.’ The sound of crackling bones echoed around Levi as he gritted his teeth and clenched his fists.
His whitened knuckles loosened when he saw a wave of bloodied Aether radiate through Maya’s body. ’Her Aether is stronger than that of High Inquisitor Beatrice.’
Wordless cries flew up when the wave pushed half of the standing students face-flat on the ground and left the remaining on their knees.
Dust swirled around Levi as the wave pushed him three steps back and tried to force him to go down, but he didn’t; he channeled his Aether into the bones in his legs and stood still like an unshakable mountain.
Flying leaves dropped to the ground when Maya Sirius swept her eyes toward the kneeling students, causing the residual air in their lungs to plunge out like a whip.
Her attention locked onto the only standing person, and she grinned when she noticed the person was a man and not a lady. ’Why is a slave standing while ladies and women of great virtue are on their knees?’
She blinked when she saw two of the elders bowing. A wave of spines gashed out of her wine-colored hair when she looked past the pair and saw a corrupted energy moving around Lilith and Lyra. ’So... it’s true.’
Loud howls echoed from her crimson-winged beasts as she strode forward from the vehicle in Lilith and Lyra’s direction.
She hissed when she stopped in front of Saintess Lilith and looked down at her as if she were an insect. ’A male worm has managed to spark a Sovereign flame and you are here observing customs instead of casting him into the Neverland. HUH!’
Cold moisture pooled from Saintess Lilith’s forehead to her chin as she kept her gaze locked on the shimmering crimson robes of Maya Sirius. ’Is she going to expel me?’
She lifted her gaze slightly but lowered it quickly when she saw Maya’s eyes flash with angry sparks. ’Has she also noticed my energy is corrupted?’
Lilith’s heart plummeted hard against her ribcage as she closed her eyes tightly shut and tried to channel deep into her energy. Sparks of white Aether flashed out of Lilith’s skin but were consumed by the corrupted black energy with every try. ’Work, please. I don’t want to die like the history books say.’
The sheer weight of Maya’s shadow caused Lilith’s body to produce massive amounts of fluid that ran down from her lewd body and gathered on the cracked earth beneath her.
A wave of relaxation washed over Lilith when Maya turned away from her and advanced toward the only male standing there with his hands shoved in his pockets.
With just a single step, Maya covered twenty steps in a nanosecond and stopped in front of Levi.
Strands of Levi’s brown hair flared at his sides while the rest flattened against his scalp as air blasted at his face.
Pain rattled through Levi’s body, but he kept a composed expression and began scanning Maya’s fluffy and huge chest filled with sparkling breasts. ’That’s the first thing.’
A faint smile appeared on his lips as he nodded inwardly. ’But there have to be other things that will differentiate her from the rest.’
Maya’s crimson eyes flashed with heat as she leaned in and began scanning Levi’s face with disgust in her eyes.
The scent of concentrated masculine Aether radiated from Levi’s skin and flew into her lungs when she sniffed the air once.
She snapped her head back and frowned. "You do not bow before your superior, boy!"
Maya’s long and sharp fingernails glinted in the rays of the crystal sky as she lifted her right arm.
A warm bead rolled down the skin of Levi’s neck when Maya moved the sharp, glittering fingernail forward, nearly pressing through his throat.
’Doesn’t she know it’s a crime to kill someone in broad daylight!’ Levi’s eyes sharpened as he screamed in his head, but he could only gulp when the fingernail moved forward and drew a faint, warm line of blood.
Maya’s gaze heightened after a minute of not seeing a male servant kneel in front of her for the first time. "Kneel, servant!"
Levi tilted his gaze slightly and shook his head. "I don’t bow to anyone, Maya."
He sniffed the sweet scent flowing around her and nodded. "Especially not to a woman who has to use a carriage just to make an entrance."
Faces went pale while eyes turned bloody red as everyone turned their gazes toward Levi and Maya Sirius, the Crimson Sovereign.
All the veins on Lyra’s neck appeared on her skin when she saw Maya’s eyes change into a dark, sparkling light; the one she used to defeat the demon lord that tried to challenge her. ’IS HE MAD!’
