On a stormy night, Lu Li and Anna drew close to each other, gazing deep into each other’s eyes, about to embrace—a piercing scream rang out:

"You can’t be together!"

Lu Li and Anna turned simultaneously: "Why!"

A gray-haired elder stepped forward, shouting sorrowfully, "Because you are siblings!"

Crack—

A lightning bolt flashed, rendering Lu Li and Anna motionless.

"Crack!"

Wearing a newsboy cap, Mu Su walked below the stage and pushed away the patients in blue and white hospital uniforms holding flashlights and thunder drums.

"Lu Li, what are you posing for! Do you think you’re the male lead in a drama! This is a storm! A storm! Anna, what are you posing for! Do you think you’re the male lead in a drama! This is a storm! A storm!"

"Are you acting out ’A Smile is Beautiful’?"

"Why not ’Eternal Love’?" A girl with a bandage on her nose grumbled.

After scolding Lu Li and Anna, Mu Su looked at the elder with satisfaction: "In comparison, Da Vinci’s performance was very good."

"Isn’t it because he bribed you..." the girl continued to grumble.

"Who can drag this comic relief out?"

As the girl covered her mouth, Mu Su climbed onto the stage, shouting at the empty seats: "We must perform at our best for the Huilongguan Mental Hospital!"

"Perform at our best!"

Bang—

The warehouse door was suddenly flung open, with doctors, nurses, and security guards forming a formidable line outside.

"Who let you in! Where did you get the key!"

"We’ve been exposed! Plan B!" Mu Su shouted.

"What’s Plan B?"

Da Vinci was stunned and then taken hostage by Mu Su: "The hostage is in our hands, drop your weapons, I want a million in cash and a helicopter!"

Lu Li and Anna left the stage to avoid getting blood on themselves, and amid the chaos, they quietly slipped away.

Sitting on a bench in the garden, Anna pulled out a bag of snacks from her pocket.

Inside were many unborn embryos, altered by unimaginable power, shedding their original form and now twisted, wrapped in uneven black substance.

The ominous black solid, upon sensing the warmth of life, transforms into black mucus, enveloping and absorbing every ounce of strength. Yet, within the five senses and the mysterious sixth sense, it exudes a brilliant allure, enticing countless weak-willed humans to merge with it.

Each embryo was blasphemously seductive to Lu Li, yet resisted with nausea-inducing revulsion.

Until these abominable things were devoured by Anna, with twisted liquid remaining at the corner of her mouth, Lu Li could no longer maintain his rationality, nor let Anna move.

Watching the face drawing closer, Anna’s eyelashes fluttered, slightly tilting her head... only for Lu Li to wipe the corner of her mouth clean with his hand.

Anna opened her eyes regretfully: "Just like that?"

"You were almost parasitized by an unknown embryo..."

"You know it’s just chocolate, right?"

Lu Li silently turned his gaze away.

Anna put away the snacks and leaned shoulder-to-shoulder with Lu Li: "The doctor suggested you undergo treatment a bit longer."

"It’s not an illness."

Anna said nothing.

A few dozen minutes later, Anna appeared in the doctor’s office.

Separated from Lu Li, Anna returned to her cold demeanor.

"Lu Li’s delusions are still very—"

"It’s not an illness," Anna interrupted him.

The doctor patiently looked at her: "How do you explain the world Lu Li describes, with you, along with everyone from the hospital in it?"
