After they finished looking at the photos, they went back to the bedroom. Mika Summers got into bed and held Kiki tightly.

Tristan Grayson lay down on Kiki’s other side and wrapped his arms around the mother and son, pulling them into his embrace.

That night, Mika Summers slept soundly. She had no nightmares, and when she woke up, it was already the following afternoon.

Kiki was sitting beside her, playing with a toy. Seeing that she was awake, he pushed his toy aside, lay down, and snuggled into her arms.

A warmth spread through Mika Summers’s heart. She hugged him tightly and said in a soft, low voice, "Kiki, Mommy missed you so much..."

"Will Mommy leave Kiki again?"

"What about Daddy?"

Watching the mother and son embracing in the room, Tristan Grayson leaned against the wall, a bowl and chopsticks in his left hand.
