Divorce Revenge System: Knowing the Future in Advance
Chapter 1321 - 871: Promotion Tips
Jiang Nian held her hand for a while, then quickly pulled his hand back.
"Sis, this is a human hand, not a pig trotters. You’re holding it so tight, you’re about to marinate it with your hand sweat."
Upon hearing this, Yu Zhiyi’s face turned rosy.
"You’re the one with sweaty hands!"
"Who doesn’t?"
"You!!" Yu Zhiyi was furious, but had to lower her voice, "Stop talking!"
Jiang Nian was happy to oblige, and didn’t utter a word the entire way. He even had a quiet demeanor when they distributed the airplane meals.
"What do you want?" Yu Zhiyi asked.
He pointed at the yogurt on the side, then pointed to himself, and made a motion of inserting a straw.
Yu Zhiyi: "...."
What an ass!
She was visibly annoyed but still bit her lower lip. She inserted straws into two yogurt boxes and handed them to Jiang Nian.
"Thank you," Jiang Nian said.
"Aren’t you supposed to be silent?" Yu Zhiyi was simmering with anger, sneakily poking fun at him.
"I’m a person with opinions." Jiang Nian said while finishing both boxes of yogurt.
"You....."
Once they landed, Jiang Nian booked a hotel for Yu Zhiyi while he went back to his apartment and rested throughout the night.
The next day, he specifically took some time off to buy a car.
"4S store?"
"You’re really buying a car?" Yu Zhiyi seemed surprised that the first stop of their date was a car dealership.
"Yeah, it’s inconvenient without a car." Jiang Nian took her along mainly because he was free, treating it like a routine task.
After all, Yu Zhiyi would naturally follow him.
"Oh."
As soon as they entered a certain 4S store, a salesperson glanced over. Seeing a male and female student duo, he wasn’t too keen on assisting them.
Jiang Nian: "Damn idiot."
"Let’s go, try another place." He cursed loudly, but wasn’t really angry, just venting a bit.
A rather odd attitude.
When people are lacking in money, they often value their dignity greatly. All they’re thinking about is ’Don’t underestimate the young and struggling’.
But when wealth comes, they’ll simply curse once, then turn away and continue with their business.
No interest in understanding why those salespeople wouldn’t assist.
Because it doesn’t matter.
They switched to another, unnamed store. This time the salesperson was quite enthusiastic, offering various introductions and services.
Yu Zhiyi, listening on the side, felt dizzy from all the information.
Until.....
"Alright, this one then."
"Full payment?"
"Yeah."
The salesperson was mildly surprised but maintained a smile, "Please come this way, you’ll be able to pick up the car in about two days."
Stepping out of the 4S store, Yu Zhiyi was still in a daze.
"You just bought it?"
"Yep." Jiang Nian prepared to hail a cab, "I reckon the qualification certificate is at the bank, can’t issue an invoice."
In no time, the male salesperson chased after them. After asking their destination, he personally hailed a cab for them.
By the way, he brought a small bag of gifts. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
Jiang Nian put down his phone and accepted everything. A car that costs over 200,000 isn’t too expensive, nor too cheap.
The salesperson was decent, offering gifts even after closing the deal.
As for after-sale service...
Not expecting much.
"4S store service is really good." Yu Zhiyi couldn’t help but marvel, "They even helped us hail a cab."
"Pretty much." Jiang Nian put one hand in his pocket, reacting fairly nonchalantly.
Yu Zhiyi glanced at him, "You’re pretty impressive, buying such an expensive car as a freshman."
"Expensive?"
"Yes!"
"Well, too bad we have to wait two days to pick it up," he said, "otherwise I’d take you for a spin."
Yu Zhiyi pursed her lips and said softly.
"We can do it next time too."
"Sure, then I’ll postpone ten times." Jiang Nian confidently uttered such words without a hint of burden.
"You!!!" Yu Zhiyi gritted her teeth.
Is this person for real?
....
After settling one matter, Jiang Nian took Yu Zhiyi to his company, arranging for her to have milk tea and watch TV in the office.
Yu Zhiyi was puzzled, "Weren’t we supposed to be on a trip?"
"Social practice is also a part of travel." The office where Jiang Nian worked had no surveillance camera, he reached out and pinched little Yu.
"Wait for me a bit, or you can find a place to hang out yourself."
He always draws clear boundaries like this. If the other person can accept it, they do; if not, that’s another matter.
No special treatment.
"Then I’ll wait for you." Yu Zhiyi pouted, but obediently sat down in the office.
"Where did you sleep last night?"
"At the apartment."
"Is it a shared one?"
"Living alone."
Yu Zhiyi was taken aback, "Then why book a hotel for me, such a waste of money, couldn’t we have just managed?"
"Money saved can be spent on lots of good food."
"You’re only interested in eating." Jiang Nian was a bit speechless, but he still glanced at her, "Then tonight will you....."
"Sleep on the sofa!" She seemed joyful.
Jiang Nian was pretty pleased too, after all, living alone. Sharing with a girl with a great figure is entirely different.
Evening was approaching.
After finishing his work, Jiang Nian packed up briefly and planned to take Yu Zhiyi to West Lake.
Having been there too many times, he found it a bit nauseating.
Yu Zhiyi seemed quite delighted, "First time at West Lake, I always saw it through social media before."
"You have quite a few friends." He said.
"Relatives."
As they chatted, they strolled leisurely. Jiang Nian occasionally held Yu Zhiyi’s hand, sometimes let go and walked separately.
Held..... because it felt nice.
Let go, because he didn’t want to hold forever, giving an impression of needing to hold hands all the time going forward.
Honestly speaking, not at that stage yet.
As they wandered deeper into the night, right when Jiang Nian planned to head back, Yu Zhiyi stood by the lakeside, turned around.
"Hey."
"What’s up?"
"Did you ever imagine, one day you’d stroll through West Lake with me?" Yu Zhiyi smiled, her eyes playfully curved.
"No."
Jiang Nian shook his head, speaking candidly, "I thought you were sensible and wouldn’t choose to enroll in Beijing."
"Tch, my first choice wasn’t...."
Yu Zhiyi finished speaking, then quietly added, "I thought, since I couldn’t compete with the class leaders anyway."
"Uh-huh."
"You’re reacting pretty calmly, aren’t you even inclined to say something more?"
