Dual Cultivation: I Summon Villainesses of Mythic Era
Chapter 138: Frost Art: Prison of Ice of the Eternal Winter
*Dao Era, Seed World, Central Volcano Zone*
The air at the center of the pocket dimension had become so heavy that it seemed to solidify under the effect of the clashing contradictory energies.
Facing them, the two remaining Great Ancestors of the Azure Kingdom were cornered, their blue clothes torn and stained with their own golden blood. The oldest, the old man with the frost beard, was breathing heavily, his trembling hand still gripping his weapon. He exchanged a desperate look with his companion, a female Demigod whose azure armor was split, revealing flesh bruised by BaiShe’s Qi blades.
"We have no choice anymore..." the woman murmured in a hoarse voice, spitting a trail of blood onto the scorched ground.
"If we do not banish him now, this monster will devour not only the Seed, but the very essence of our existence."
The leader of the Demigods nodded with a resolution born of pure desperation. Simultaneously, they joined their hands, their dantians humming as they burned their own vital essence to force a domain fusion. A cold blue light began to emanate from their bodies, rising toward the volcanic sky to form a hexagonal sealing barrier. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
"<Law: Azure Domain Fusion>
<Wall of Eternal Oblivion>" they shouted in unison.
The sky above BaiShe seemed to collapse. Space twisted, creating a vortex of energy that sought to suck the young master into the limbus of spatial void. However, BaiShe showed no sign of panic. He observed the barrier closing in on him with curiosity, calmly adjusting his monocle.
"Logic dictates that fear obscures judgment..." BaiShe declared in a monotone voice that pierced the roar of the vortex. "Do you really think such primitive laws can hinder someone who has already transcended your reality?"
However, feeling the sealing pressure increase, BaiShe understood that he needed to break their will definitively. Therefore, he decided to release the power he had usurped from the Dao Temple during the massacre of Huojin.
BaiShe closed his eyes for a brief moment, calming the beats of his Omega Heart which began to pump a primordial energy of absolute purity. Suddenly, the Yin-Yang symbol appeared on his forehead, burning with a binary light, half white and half violet. His silver pupils instantly turned pure white.
"<Law: Authority of the Dao>" he pronounced with sovereign authority.
A shockwave of sacred Qi exploded from his body, instantly pulverizing the first layers of the azure domain. The weight of gravity in the dimension was multiplied by a thousand in a fraction of a second. One of the Demigods, the massive expert trying to maintain the left flank of the seal, fell brutally to his knees on the burning basalt. The cracking of his kneecaps shattered by the spiritual pressure was sharp and dry, sending bone fragments through his tensed muscles.
Then the scene became truly atrocious. Under the unbearable pressure of the Celestial Judge’s authority, the Demigod could no longer contain his own Qi. His eyes began to bulge out of their sockets, the blood vessels bursting one by one until his eyeballs literally exploded under the internal tension. Thick black and pure blood, saturated with azure energy, flowed in cascades from his now empty orbits, staining his face convulsed with pain.
"Aaaaaarrrrggghhh!" the man screamed before his own tongue was severed by his teeth in an involuntary muscular spasm.
BaiShe began to descend from his pillar, floating a few centimeters above the ground with the calculated slowness of a predator dominating its prey. His hands remained crossed behind his back, his jade expression remaining impassive in the face of the carnage. He approached the leader of the Demigods who was trembling with his entire body, his scepter falling to the ground with a derisory clink.
Simultaneously, BaiShe raised his right hand, invoking an energy of absolute frost.
"<Frost Art: Prison of Ice of the Eternal Winter>"
Pillars of bluish ice burst from the ground, imprisoning the old man’s limbs. The cold was so intense that it froze the golden blood in his veins before the pain of freezing could even reach his brain. The leader of the Demigods stammered, bubbles of blood bursting on his lips cracked by the frost.
"This... this is not possible..." gasped the old man, his bloodshot eyes fixed on the Yin-Yang symbol on BaiShe’s forehead. "Only a chosen one of the Dao Temple can possess such will... Only the Executor can impose such a law... Who are you really, monster?"
BaiShe stopped right in front of him, the shadow of his black silhouette covering the expert’s devastated face. He adjusted his monocle with precision, then leaned toward the old man’s ear. His scent of peach blossoms and frosted metal invaded the Demigod’s dying senses.
"I am the one who devours the Dao itself..." BaiShe murmured in a voice so low that it seemed to resonate directly in his victim’s soul. "Your sky fell long ago, and I am your new Judge."
The old man wanted to scream, but BaiShe drove his index finger directly into the expert’s shoulder, severing the tendons with supernatural fluidity. Golden blood spurted onto BaiShe’s black tunic, but it was instantly devoured by a thin layer of Qi protecting the young master.
However, Long Huang did not remain inactive. She approached the female Demigod who was still trying to crawl toward the exit. With a backhand, the dragoness sliced her Achilles tendons with her black claws, observing with a satisfied smirk as the flesh tore like wet parchment.
"Look at them, BaiShe..." Long Huang chuckled while licking a drop of divine blood from her claw. "They die with the same arrogance they displayed during their coronation. Their essence will be the perfect offering for our union."
BaiShe turned his gaze toward the center of the volcano where the World Seed was now pulsing with increased strength, responding to the massacre that saturated the earth with death Qi.
"Logic dictates that every life extinguished here is one less seal on our own sovereignty," he thought coldly.
"Prepare for the final harvest..." BaiShe ordered as he straightened up.
