Soon Xuan Xue forgot about the embarrassment completely and lost herself in the pleasure...

"Is this it?"

Xuan Xue looked at the broken mountain range with the ruins of a sect spread across it..

Lin Feng nodded, "If Ji Zeyuan wasn’t deceiving, then this is the sect ruins which they had explored to get that pill formula and the lotus.."

Lin Feng pointed towards one mountain which was a little far from the ruins.

"That is the mountain where they found the lotus.. let’s see what we can find."

They both landed on the mountain and it was broken spirit field.

Lin Feng was already using his chaotic eyes to see through all the intricacies on the mountain.

"It seems ordinary.." Xuan Xue was looking for clues too but she didn’t find anything.

Lin Feng nodded, "It is..." He didn’t find anything either, "That means there are two possible scenarios.

First, it has grown randomly and I was wrong in my assumptions or it had been brought here from somewhere else in its infancy.."

Lin Feng was more inclined towards the fact that it had grown somewhere else. He was completely certain of his assumptions.

The only issue was that finding the original location of the Eternal Dao Lotus was going to be a difficult endeavour unless they got some clue about it from these ruins.

Lin Feng looked at the ruins and shook his head, he doubted that he would get anything from these ruins, even if they hadn’t been explored by the Yin Yang Harmony Sect.

Nonetheless, he decided to go through it, "Let’s try to find something, master.."

After some time, Lin Feng was standing on the mountain, thinking deeply about what he should do next..

There was nothing left which could hint at the original location of the Eternal Dao Lotus, so this meant the only option left was to randomly wander in the central region and try to find it.

It was almost impossible to succeed given the vastness of the central region.

Another way was to wait until the Eternal Dao Lotus had grown enough to have consciousness to guide him.

This way he wouldn’t have to actively search through the central region but... there was another issue with this method, the amount of time the Eternal Dao Lotus would take to reach that stage would be decades.

Although decades weren’t much for him, there was a chance that Daoist Karmic might pay another visit to this world. That would mean losing the chance to get his hands on the treasure..

So he had to find another way, but what?

Lin Feng frowned while thinking, the thing he was trying to locate had one thing in common with him, chaos qi.

His eyes lit up slightly and he created a chaotic orb on his palm. This orb was pure chaos qi and it wasn’t even imbued with his will, making it completely free for absorption.

Even his master could absorb it to cultivate, although it wouldn’t be much.

Nonetheless, if there was a treasure related to chaos, it would definitely respond to it..

He waited for a few moments while looking at the chaotic orb, alas nothing happened. He wasn’t disappointed though, the distance mattered too so there was a chance that he was too far from the treasure.

He would still have to wander in the central region but this time with this orb, the effective range in which he could search had increased far more than his previous idea of just using chaotic eyes.

Lin Feng told Xuan Xue about this and they both began moving again...

Lin Feng first went towards the border area of the Eastern and Central Region. After covering most of it he didn’t find anything.

They retraced their path to the sect and went towards the deeper region this time. They were mostly searching near the sect as there was a very high chance that this sect had found the Eternal Dao Lotus as a normal spirit herb in the vicinity and it seemed Lin Feng was right..

Lin Feng stopped moving while his eyes were fixed on the chaotic orb in his hand.

There was a small stream of chaos qi which had begun moving from it towards a specific direction.

Lin Feng finally smiled with relief, "Finally..." This went better than he had expected.

Xuan Xue could see the movement of chaos qi too, she sighed in relief as well, "Let’s see what it is.."

After travelling a little more they came to a place where the ground was split into two creating a rift which felt like an abyss.

"This is a sword strike?" Xuan Xue frowned as she wasn’t completely sure.

Lin Feng nodded, "The intent has faded away but this rift bears more than just a sword strike.."

They landed on the edge and looked inside the rift. The bottom was thousands of meters below the surface.

"I don’t sense any danger.."

Lin Feng said that and began descending into it, Xuan Xue followed.

The rift was filled with beasts which had begun adapting to darkness but none of them attacked Lin Feng and Xuan Xue as Lin Feng wasn’t suppressing his blood qi.

Soon they came to a small cave at the bottom, his chaotic orb was getting absorbed much faster and it was evident that the treasure he was looking for was near him.

He put his eyes on the cave and used chaotic eyes to see through it, sure enough, below a few thousand meters inside the cave he found what he was looking for.

The thing that entered his perception was a very small chaotic orb revolving in its place.

Lin Feng’s eyes widened, if it really was what he thought it was then it was beyond what he had imagined it to be.

He immediately began digging through and Xuan Xue helped him.

Finally they reached the last layer of earth and when Lin Feng removed it, they saw a small chaotic seed floating in what seemed like a void which it had created around itself.
