Dual World Apocalypse: My Harem Gives Me 10x Rewards
Chapter 49: Step to Greatness: Things Don’t Have To Be Trash To Be Discarded
Thud. Thud. Thud.
Adrian swung the axe with all his might. The tree, as wide as an apprentice sumo wrestler, fell to the ground with a loud thud.
One would think the woodcutter would be drenched in sweat after felling such a large tree, but it was the opposite. Adrian had barely sweated, which was expected since he only swung the axe thrice.
"This is a golden find," Adrian smiled, holding the axe that was almost as big as him.

An epic-grade weapon got bartered for a poor-quality uncommon armor, 2 kg of impure salt, and 20 kg of meat. It wasn’t a bad deal at all. In fact, it made Adrian feel bad for the guy who pulled this weapon from a wishing well. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
No one sane would ever do a deal like that, but Adrian got lucky. Technically, Seraphine did, but it was the same thing.
"Honestly, I feel bad for the guy. He pulled an epic weapon, only to never use it because of the restriction."
The weapon was truly great. The only downside was that no one would probably be able to use it because of the harsh bonding restriction.
Getting to eighty strength without the first advancement was impossible. After all, people would only get 8 stat points from leveling up before the advancement quest would come knocking.
If not for the 10x blessing and his class, even Adrian wouldn’t be able to use it. The only other way someone could have used it would be to find enough equipment to boost their strength.
That’s why the guy, ironically named <Midas’ Middle Finger>, was desperate to sell it for some food and armor. Adrian had offered him some salt because he felt bad for the guy.
"What a good fellow, he even told Seraphine about the restriction just in case she didn’t see it," Adrian smirked, shaking his head.
Apart from his luck, the boy did not have decent stats. That’s why Adrian told him, via Seraphine, to reach out if he pulled anything good, and he would barter some food for them.
Midas readily agreed and even added Seraphine as a friend. Only then did he realize she was the player with dual classes and suddenly thought it made sense for her to buy the weapon.
"Alright, that’s enough resting," Adrian grunted, swung the axe overhead, and brought it down on the large log.
BAM!
There was a loud explosion, sending dust and debris flying everywhere. The impact was even more explosive than Adrian thought.
He waved his hand around to clear the dust and looked down to see that the giant tree had broken into usable pieces.
"Damn, my hands have gone numb..." he mumbled, clenching and unclenching his fists.
After storing the axe back in the inventory, he grabbed as many pieces as he could and dragged them into the longhouse.
Seraphine, Amiya, and Nixa were already waiting for him there with strong, interwoven vines. He would use them to bind the stumps together since they did not have any poisonous vines.
"Fuck... I should recruit a bull next to transport these things," he sighed and rolled his shoulders after putting the logs down. "Chopping down the tree was much easier than carrying them."
"Male, we can help you," Nixa said.
Adrian didn’t refuse the offer. If he tried doing everything himself, then he would lose his precious time. Besides, the fence was for everyone, not just him.
Adrian took the vines from them, bundled them up, and turned them into cards with the help of the crafting table.
[Claimed: Fine-quality vine rope bundle card (Common) x1]
[Ancestor’s 10x blessing in effect. Gained 10 Fine-quality vine rope bundle cards.]
Amiya and Nixa’s eyes widened in shock as the large bundle disappeared. They were used to Adrian making things appear out of thin air, but it was the first time they had seen him making something disappear.
It seems they can’t see the cards even now.
Thinking so, he used the cards immediately to turn ten vine ropes into a hundred and ten, which were more than enough for the job.
"Hold it steady," Adrian said, lifting one of the logs while Nixa and Amiya supported the other.
Seraphine moved in between, tying the two pieces together with the vines. Then they repeated the process until they couldn’t do it anymore. After all, it took a lot of strength to lift the logs, and there was only so much the three of them could do.
After a quick break, they slipped their hands under the fence fragment and waited.
"When I tell you to, lift it up and slam it on the table," Adrian instructed everyone. "Now!"
On Adrian’s command, all four of them lifted the heavy fence section and rushed to the table that was only a couple of steps away. Even then, it felt like a herculean task.
"Drop it!" Adrian shouted.
They slammed the entire fence fragment onto the large crafting table. For a moment, it felt like the table would fall apart under its weight. Instead, as soon as they made contact, the fence segment disappeared and was turned into a card.
[Claimed: Basic-quality wooden fence segment card (Common) x1]
[Ancestor’s 10x blessing in effect. Gained 11 Basic-quality wooden fence segment cards!]
"Alright, this should be good enough," he said, storing the cards. "Let’s make more segments first."
Since he was set on expanding the fence, he wouldn’t half-ass it and make it large enough to add more buildings without worrying about the space.
Roughly four hours later...
"...I think we got carried away," Adrian chuckled nervously, scratching his head.
"Think?" Nixa asked.
"We?" Amiya chimed in.
Adrian was the only one left standing. Nixa and Amiya were on the ground, and Seraphine... she passed out. They would have to wait and see who wakes up in her body this time.
"Alright, alright, it’s all on me! But look at the bright side! We now have more than enough to install and then some spare in case of emergency."
The girls did not look as enthusiastic as him for having 66 fence segments. Just looking at them, Adrian didn’t have the heart to tell them that their work wasn’t over.
Sigh... time to bite the bullet.
