Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife
Chapter 1035 - 1074: What Should I Do With You
He, feeling troubled, started the car. It drove straight out of the hospital, speeding down the road, overtaking car after car on the street, and he didn’t even notice when a police car started following him...
When Dorian Howards arrived at the police station, Kyle Kinston’s lawyer had already completed the paperwork for him.
Dorian stepped forward and said, "What’s going on with you, speeding and ending up at the police station?"
Kyle glanced at him, "How did you know?"
"I know someone who happens to work at this station, they saw you being brought in and notified me," Dorian said. "Did something happen between you and Mabel?" Such irritation and gloom on his friend’s face was something he seldom saw.
Kyle tiredly rubbed his temples, "I want her to get rid of the child, but she refuses."
Dorian was shocked, though he had anticipated it—during their conversation the previous night at the hospital entrance, he had already guessed this possibility.
"Even if this child was unexpected, it’s still your child with her. If you force her, it’ll only harm your relationship. It’s better to let her have the baby. Maybe once it’s born, you’ll naturally feel the child’s charm," Dorian said. Especially now that he was about to become a father, he eagerly anticipated his and Alice’s love child, constantly imagining what the baby would look like, who it would resemble, what its personality might be.
"Have the child? And let the Kinston Family’s bloodline continue?" Kyle said coldly, his eyes full of disgust for the curse he bore.
Unless he died, he could never escape it. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
Dorian was silent and, after a moment, said, "Then perhaps you should tell Mabel about the curse. Maybe then she’ll agree to have the baby aborted."
"And if I tell her and she still refuses?" Kyle countered.
Dorian was at a loss for words.
Kyle said, "In the Kinston Family, how many women knew about the Blood Curse but still chose to have children? Otherwise, the Kinston Family wouldn’t have continued till now."
"The Kinston Family has persisted for so many generations; maybe it’s not entirely bad. Although the curse is real... there have been those who’ve found their fated ones, like you found Mabel, right? Maybe your child could find their destined one too?" Dorian suggested.
"But how many are there who haven’t found their destined ones?" Kyle snorted coldly. "And even if they find them, does that guarantee they’ll survive?"
Dorian was speechless, for Kyle’s parents were living proof of this argument.
"If this child is born only to inherit the Kinston Family’s Blood Curse, then it’s better not to be born! Moreover, I never thought I could love a child. Since I can’t love one, it’s better not to have one," he said coldly.
Dorian sighed internally, fearing that the shadows of Kyle’s childhood made him inherently resistant to having children.
"Dorian, in the end, how can I make Mabel give up the child?" Kyle said hoarsely, his voice filled with unprecedented exhaustion and anxiety.
