Genshin Impact: I Can Obtain Adventure EXP

Chapter 809: Hollow

Unfortunately, even after Nolan completely wiped out the Antimatter Legion in this star system, Nanook did not appear again.

Of course, there was also a stroke of good fortune.

After clearing out the Antimatter Legion here, including the Lord Ravager, Nolan's Adventure EXP rose from a little over fifty six billion to more than three hundred billion.

That was enough for him to level up at least once.

He did not hold back and directly spent the Adventure EXP to raise his level to 211, then set off once more toward the next location to farm EXP.

This destination was not far either. Before long, Nolan had already arrived. This star system had been occupied by the Denizens of Abundance.

Their sworn enemies, the Xianzhou Alliance, were currently attempting to liberate it.

The Xianzhou here was not the Luofu that Nolan was familiar with, but another ship, the Yaoqing, said to be one of the most battle capable vessels within the Alliance.

This star system was constantly engulfed in battles of all scales, the situation extremely intense.

Just as Nolan was about to step in and help, he suddenly saw an arrow of light pierce through the sea of stars, heading toward this system.

Sensing the immense power contained within that arrow, Nolan used his realm ability to activate the Realm of Cause and Effect, successfully glimpsing the existence that had fired it.

It was a figure resembling a centaur, holding a bow of light, radiating divine authority.

At the same time, Nolan used his affinity skill to view its information:

[Level: 224]

[Aeon of Hunt · Lan: The master of the Path of "Hunt," whose authority unleashes unimaginable power when directed at its sworn enemies.]

So this was the Hunt… Nolan thought to himself.

Although the Path of the Hunt seemed relatively narrow, it appeared to gain an immense boost when targeting enemies with the factor of "prey" or "enmity."

From this perspective, perhaps while the Hunt's domain was more limited, its power was correspondingly more concentrated.

Allowing it to achieve feats that other Paths might find difficult.

Nolan did not continue probing Lan, lest he be mistaken for an enemy.

In that brief delay, the arrow of light fired by the Aeon of Hunt had already descended. One of the planets in this system that had already completely fallen was instantly destroyed.

The other planets that still had a chance of being saved remained unharmed, while the warriors of the Yaoqing were doing everything they could to rescue them.

Nolan did not delay any further. Otherwise, the Denizens of Abundance would all be wiped out soon enough. With the Hunt watching, they had no chance of victory.

This time, Nolan did not use sword god. To avoid accidentally harming the Xianzhou people, he relied on the infinite energy provided by Imaginary Energy.

He directly used "Gospel · Dreamlike Transmutation" to turn the entire star system into a dream, then within that dream caused all the Denizens of Abundance to suffer various accidental deaths, before turning that dream into reality.

Thus, in a single instant, all the Denizens of Abundance died, their deaths exactly matching the ways they had died within the dream.

As for the people of the Yaoqing, they only felt a brief moment of disorientation, and then saw their enemies collapse before them. Though the situation felt inexplicably unsettling,

they later realized that only the Denizens of Abundance had died. Unable to determine the cause, they could only attribute it to the power of the Hunt.

After clearing out the Denizens of Abundance, Nolan saw his Adventure EXP once again rise above three hundred billion, and he proceeded to level up once more.

Over the next few days, Nolan continued setting out to farm Adventure EXP, mainly targeting polluted zones blocked by Stellaron cores.

These places usually contained large numbers of Fragmentum monsters along with the Antimatter Legion, so the EXP gains were quite substantial.

At the same time, he could rescue civilizations that had been devastated by Stellarons. If he encountered civilizations that had not yet come into contact with interstellar society, he could even bring them into his world bubble to cultivate the Power of the Accursed Moon.

In doing so, Nolan could also advance his own cultivation progress.

Just like that, after clearing many Stellaron polluted zones, his level gradually rose to 219, leaving him less than ten billion Adventure EXP away from level 220.

By now, he had already visited all the locations everyone had helped gather. If he wanted to continue farming EXP, he would have to search for new ones.

However, all the easily obtainable information had already been collected, so finding more would take some time.

In any case, ten billion was not much. Nolan figured that going to New Eridu and clearing some Ethereals in Hollow Zero would probably be enough.

Combined with the daily cultivation progress of over three billion, he might even reach level 220 within the day.

Shattered Continent, New Eridu.

Nolan appeared in a small alley within a plaza called Guangying. The only one who noticed his sudden appearance was a chubby fat cat.

He rubbed the cat's head, then, amid its dissatisfied meowing, smiled and walked out of the alley.

New Eridu's architectural style looked similar to modern Earth, with skyscrapers, cars, and trains.

Although it appeared modern on the surface, its technological development far surpassed the Earth from before his transmigration.

This was likely due to the existence of Hollow Ether, a substance whose study had propelled the world's development forward by leaps and bounds.

In some aspects, it was especially outstanding.

For example, there were soft, cute, bouncy robots called Bangboo. They possessed a certain level of intelligence and could accomplish many tasks that humans could not.

They were also quite useful in Hollow exploration.

After all, humans with Ether Aptitude were relatively rare. Those without it could not physically enter Hollows, so robots had to be sent in instead.

In addition, there were regulated items such as "W-Engines" that could enhance personal abilities, though these only worked for those with Ether Aptitude.

However, W-Engines were no longer the ultimate pursuit of Ether Aptitude users.

Ever since one day, when people in New Eridu discovered that numerous red moons had appeared in the sky, there was initially a wave of panic.

But then people realized they could absorb the moonlight to grow stronger, and things quickly spiraled. Now, in New Eridu, not only Ether Aptitude users but also many ordinary people were cultivating the Power of the Accursed Moon.

After all, in a world filled with dangerous creatures like Ethereals, no one would refuse the chance to protect themselves.

Of course, they still did not fully understand what the red moonlight actually was, or whether it had any side effects.

The only unfortunate part was that even after cultivating the Power of the Accursed Moon, those without Ether Aptitude still could not enter Hollows.

Worse yet, if they became infected, the Ethereals they turned into would be even more powerful.

Not long ago, such an incident occurred. An ordinary person who had cultivated the Power of the Accursed Moon rashly entered a Hollow, and after some time, transformed into an Ethereal, immediately becoming a boss level threat.

This caused significant trouble for Hollow investigation efforts, making even basic patrol operations difficult to carry out.

Through information gathered with his spiritual sense, Nolan also discovered that the Defense Force had recently begun recruiting Ether Aptitude users to deal with that boss level Ethereal.
