Chapter 222: An Avatar’s Invite

Somewhere in the Desolate Realm, Athena, Anastasia, Thalia, and Elaine steadily drifted beyond the chaotic void. Their godly essences bent reality and the void itself around their forms, making the savage energies part and flow like water. They moved in complete silence, yet their bond through Patrick Alexander King let them share every thought and feeling without a single spoken word.

Athena led them, her presence calm but absolute. The void suddenly twisted, forming two massive, chaotic doors ahead, each pulsing with enough raw, destructive force to collapse entire alpha universes. Before they stepped through, all four queens glanced sharply to their left, their eyes piercing the distance as if acknowledging someone watching from the shadows.

Elaine's soft, heavenly voice lingered behind them like a gentle warning.

"Not yet, little red-headed god. Not yet."

The doors swallowed them whole. The moment they crossed the threshold, everything changed. The familiar, chaotic void of the Desolate Realm gave way to a brutal, untamed wilderness alive with primal hunger. This was another Desolate Domain, one that reeked of endless violence and savage survival.

Towering mountains the size of planets rose into blackened skies, while vast forests of twisted, blood-red trees stretched endlessly. Swirling tornadoes of razor-sharp wind and devouring thunderstorms raged constantly, tearing at the earth in merciless cycles. The ground itself seemed to bleed, cracked and scorched from perpetual conflict.

Elaine's voice broke the silence this time, calm but analytical. "This domain reeks of barbaric essence. The constant extermination of over a million lifeforms every second has left it so saturated with death energy that the entire place has become a birthing ground for Death Ghouls."

Athena's crystalline crimson eyes narrowed as she stared into the horizon. Sparks of violent clashes flashed hundreds of thousands of miles away. With nothing more than a thought, the distance collapsed before them. Reality folded, and the four Omni Queens appeared directly above a massive battlefield.

Below them, a nightmare unfolded.

Hundreds of thousands of death ghouls surged across a shattered plain. These abominations were born from accumulated death and rage—tall, emaciated horrors with rotting flesh stretched over jagged bones, their mouths filled with rows of needle teeth. Black runic scars glowed across their bodies, fueling unnatural strength and hunger. They fought in frenzied packs, clawing, biting, and devouring everything in their path, including each other when no other prey remained.

Opposing them was a scattered force of at least one billion desperate cultivators and beasts, clearly losing ground fast. The ghouls' sheer numbers and mindless ferocity were overwhelming. And their replenishing numbers, due to the death law energy in the Desolate Domain, made them practically immortal; it was like, kill one, get three.

Athena's lips curved into a faint, cold smile. "The Desolate is bound to be ours. And we can't tolerate this much disgust in it; let's clean this up."

Finished speaking, Athena and the other three Omni Queens descended like goddesses of judgment. Their omni essences instantly pulverized all other forms of energy with their descent, the death law energy clearing their path.

The death ghouls noticed them instantly. A tidal wave of shrieks rose as hundreds of thousands of the monsters abandoned their current prey and charged toward the new arrivals, sensing a powerful essence and hoping to devour them and advance their realm to a higher existence. The ground trembled beneath their stampede. Tornadoes seemed to bend toward them, drawn by the promise of fresh death.

As they descended, Athena raised her hand as golden light erupted from her in a perfect circle. The golden light was filled with countless Dao and Laws, causing every death ghoul that touched the expanding radiance to simply cease to exist. Their bodies disintegrated into golden particles mid-leap, their runes shattering like glass. Hundreds of millions vanished in the first second, their death energy harmlessly absorbed and purified by Athena's golden light.

Anastasia moved next, graceful and terrifying. She extended both arms, and the battlefield's balance shifted violently. The death ghouls' endless hunger turned inward. Packs began tearing each other apart with renewed savagery, their own strength now working against them. One massive ghoul, standing over a hundred feet tall with glowing runes covering its entire torso, lunged at her. But not even acknowledging the monster, the creature's body folded in on itself, its immense power crushing its own bones until it collapsed into a small black orb no larger than a marble. It was as if the mere thought of attacking the Omni Queen caused its extinction. The black orb landed in the sea of Death Ghouls and exploded, wiping out another cluster of hundreds of millions of Death Ghouls.

Thalia, not showing an ounce of emotion, uttered, "My turn."

She clapped once. The resulting sonic wave wasn't loud—it was absolute. A visible ripple of omni-energy tore across the battlefield. Death ghouls in its path exploded from the inside out, their runes detonating like fireworks. The shockwave continued, shattering mountains in the distance and silencing the raging thunderstorms for miles. Hundreds of millions, even billions of death ghouls were reduced to red mist and broken bone fragments that rained across the plain.

Elaine finished what remained with elegant cruelty. She opened dozens of spatial portals simultaneously—rifts that swallowed entire hordes and spat them into the heart of the most violent tornadoes and lightning storms. The monsters were torn apart at the atomic level, their screams cut short as reality itself chewed them up. With a final graceful wave, she collapsed the remaining portals, erasing every trace of the creatures that had passed through.

The entire battle lasted less than a minute.

Where once billions of death ghouls had raged, only silence and golden dust remained. The surviving cultivators and beasts on the ground stared upward in stunned awe, many falling to their knees, hope rekindled in their eyes again as they gazed at the four omni queens.

Athena's group hovered calmly above the devastation, their combined presence so overwhelming that the very air seemed to bow. Reality constantly fractured around them as they breathed, with time and space even glitching due to the mere presence of these beings.

Spectating the Desolate Domain, Anastasia snapped her fingers when a wave of energy burst and spread all across the desolate domain. Simultaneously, as the wave of golden energy spread, it cleansed every inch of the desolate domain from death law energy. Revitalizing the forests, mountains, and birthing new lifeforms like animals and plants.

"That looks better." Anastasia sighed with satisfaction. Compared to the desolate domain's previous state, it was now practically a utopia, with endless heavenly energy and a reformed Earth.

But not long after the desolate domain was fully reformed, a loud shimmering sound reverberated throughout the scene. The omni queens remained unreactive, as if the occurring event was already expected.

From the far edge of the battlefield, a new force approached. One hundred thousand elite cultivators marched in perfect formation, their auras strong and disciplined. At their head was a tall, imposing man with long black hair tied in a warrior's knot, wearing ornate black-and-silver armor that radiated Heavenly Realm power. His face was stern but respectful as he looked up at the four queens.

He stopped his legion a respectful distance away and cupped his hands in a deep salute.

"Honored warrior queens," he called out, his voice carrying clearly across the ruined plain. "I am General Kaelor, vassal of the Divine Avatar Lord Valthor, ruler of the Stormblade Desolate Domain. I witnessed your power just now. In mere moments, you erased a horde that would have taken my entire legion hours to overcome, and you did so without breaking stride. Truly, your might could wipe out trillions of lifeforms and beasts if you willed it. Such overwhelming supremacy is rare even in the Desolate Realm."

He bowed lower, showing genuine deference.

"I do not presume to command or challenge you. Instead, on behalf of my lord, I extend an invitation. The Stormblade Domain lies not far from here. It is one of the stronger territories in this sector. My lord would be deeply honored to host four existences of your caliber. There is much we could discuss—alliances, threats, and the shifting tides of the Desolate Realm."

Athena glanced at her sisters. Their shared will reached a quick agreement. But also an underlying agenda only they knew.

"We accept your invitation, General Kaelor," Athena replied, her voice melodic yet commanding. "Lead the way."

Kaelor's eyes lit with visible relief and respect. He turned to his legion and gave a sharp command. The one hundred thousand cultivators formed an honor guard, creating two perfect columns in the sky. Their combined auras formed a majestic golden path lined with floating runes of welcome and protection.

The four Omni Queens drifted forward gracefully, escorted on all sides by the legion. General Kaelor flew at the front, personally leading them through the chaotic skies of the domain. The thunderstorms and tornadoes seemed to part before the procession, as if even the realm itself recognized the importance of the guests.

As they traveled, the landscape below shifted from desolate battlefields to more structured territories—massive floating fortresses, training grounds where powerful warriors sparred, and citadels carved into planetary-sized mountains. News of the four goddesses' arrival spread like wildfire. Countless beings looked up in awe as the majestic procession passed overhead.

Elaine spoke softly to her sisters through their bond. "This was as easy as you predicted, Thalia."

Thalia's response was calm and regal. "Trust me, he is an even greater disappointment in person; his avatar won't be any less."

Athena and Anastasia simply radiated quiet amusement.

General Kaelor glanced back occasionally, his respect clear.

'I have seen many powerful beings in the Desolate Realm, but never at this level before. Perhaps they are even as powerful as the Lord himself. The Death Ghoul desolate domain is said to be one of the most dangerous domains in the Desolate Realm; even Heavenly King Realm cultivators still have to bring powerful artifacts just to survive their endless horde. Yet these four ladies were able to eradicate them completely. Just who are they?'

After some time, a new domain appeared on the horizon—a vast territory dominated by storm-wreathed citadels and floating islands linked by chains of lightning. This was the Stormblade Desolate Domain.

The legion's formation tightened into a more ceremonial escort as they approached the central citadel. Flags bearing the emblem of a sword wrapped in storms rose high. Trumpets of pure energy sounded in welcome.

General Kaelor turned to the queens once more, bowing deeply mid-flight.

"Honored Omni Queens, welcome to the Stormblade Desolate Domain."
