Heaven, Earth, Me
Chapter 1590. A Dragon’s Test.
After Yasenia transformed, she turned around and walked toward an open space, her wide hips and thick dragon tail seductively swaying behind her. While walking, Yasenia blinked and half turned, her curves perfectly twisting as she glanced back. "Why are you standing there dazed? Follow me..." She paused, realizing that she didn’t know the woman’s name. "Almost forgot to ask, what’s your name?"
Meanwhile, the woman was glancing at the half-turned beauty with a blank brain. It felt as if her neurons had given up on any thought except imprinting the enthralling dragon beauty in front of her.
This time, since Yasenia had suddenly transformed back, the impact of her beauty was harsh. Yasenia, noticing what happened, sighed and glanced at Feixue. "Come, love. It seems that Transcendence people can’t even compare in willpower to you."
Feixue smiled and walked over. "Alright, Master!"
Her purposely mocking words and Feixue’s answer snapped the five people out of their daze. A second later, all of them felt a touch of shame as they looked at Luan Feixue. How could they be so pathetic as to be in a daze when a mortal cultivator could easily follow Yasenia?
Of course, Feixue had been marinating in Yasenia’s presence for decades, so her resistance was much higher. Nevertheless, the five people didn’t know that.
"Excuse me, Senior. I showed an unsightly look right now. This one is named Falicia. Please teach me from now on."
Yasenia hugged her adorable disciple and glanced over. "Falicia? Interesting. Come with me."
Falicia and the other four followed, looking at Feixue interact with Yasenia with somewhat surprised eyes. While Feixue’s face had a faint blush and her eyes were full of adoration, they could notice that Feixue was not lost in Yasenia’s looks.
She was appreciative, and her body naturally reacted, as it was almost impossible to prevent. However, Feixue’s eyes were clear. That fact made them re-evaluate the woman by Yasenia’s side. ’What a monstrous willpower.’
Falicia approached, standing a step behind Yasenia. "How do you plan to train me, senior?"
Yasenia looked away from Feixue and glanced over at her. "First, I need to see how you fight. After that, we can talk about methods."
Falicia nodded, and soon, they arrived at a large flat location.
Yasenia stepped forward, her body appearing in the middle of the field. She then glanced at Falicia with arms leisurely falling to her sides. "Alright, attack me."
Falicia blinked. "Senior, while I do not doubt your strength, are you sure you want to fight me unarmed?"
Yasenia’s golden slit eyes were calm. "If I say attack, you attack. Come quickly."
Falicia’s pride as a heavenly genius took a hit. So, she looked at Yasenia with a slightly dissatisfied look. The emotion was fleeting, though. Falicia extended her hand, grasping at the handle of a large two-handed hammer.
Seeing the hammer, a touch of interest appeared in Yasenia’s eyes. "That’s a peculiar weapon of choice."
Falicia answered. "I am confident in my strength." Then, she stomped the ground and shot forward.
Yasenia asked. "You are not using any aura? You’ll regret it."
"We’ll see about that. [Moon Crushing]."
Moon energy surged from deep within her, lowering the surrounding temperature sharply. The silvery light from the Moon energy condensed, and the giant hammer fell like a streaking shooting star.
Yasenia’s tail moved. The complex muscles of the very long dragon tail clenched and tensed before lashing at the attack coming from her side.
BOOM!!
Falicia, who had been confident, had her expression change the second Yasenia’s dragon tail met her hammer. A horrifying force was transmitted through the handle, and before she knew it, her hammer and body flew back without control.
BANG!
Falicia crashed into the ground, a large explosion of dirt soaring up. Deep within the crater, Falicia stood still, her eyes looking at the blue sky while trembling. ’W-What kind of physical strength is that?’
During the clash, she had not felt any energy whatsoever! That meant that Yasenia had clashed with only her physical body. While Falicia also used her strength, she had added her Spiritual Energy into the attack, and a powerful technique on top of that.
And yet, the result was incredibly shameful.
"Stand up. Are you trying to take a nap in that crater?"
Yasenia’s voice reached Falicia, and her face almost blushed in embarrassment.
Meanwhile, the four people speculating with Yasenia’s group were doubting their eyes. "Um... Lady Andrea, what technique did Lady Dragon use?"
Andrea tilted her head. "Technique? That was her physical strength. There was no technique, just raw bodily strength."
Silence descended among the four people, their hearts trembling for a moment. They were considered top-notch talents from where they came from, yet suddenly, they felt like average cultivators.
Yasenia didn’t care about their feelings; her intention in training Falicia was genuine. She couldn’t really take her treasure like a bandit when she had never offended her.
When Falicia charged at her again, there was a black aura around her body. "Darkness and Moon elements. A powerful combination. Who are you so worried about that you can’t defeat?"
Falicia’s realm was Fifth Level Transcendence. Her strength, compared to other normal cultivators, was easily enough to face Sixth Level Transcendence cultivators. The previous clash showed that her boastful words were not all talk.
And yet, the woman was still worried of losing. Falicia spoke as she focused. "The person fighting me is the leader of the [Sun Ray Sect]. He is one of my admirers and challenged me in order to become my Dao Companion. I promised that whoever defeated me, I would accept."
Yasenia nodded. This was a common thing among female cultivators. Since talented female cultivators were very sought after, they usually placed conditions like defeating them, being better than them in alchemy, or things like that, so that nobodies would not constantly approach them.
Moreover, as cultivators who admired strength, they were not averse to being paired with someone who could defeat them. Of course, the condition was that the person courting them was someone likable.
Yasenia, knowing this, asked. "Is that man someone you despise?"
"No." Falicia shook her head. "He is a good man, and I am not against being his Dao Companion. However, I can’t accept it if he doesn’t beat my strongest self."
Yasenia was a bit confused. "So... you like him, but you are too stubborn to accept straight away, so you told him to defeat you. Yet, you are now training to become stronger..." For a moment, she glanced at Falicia with a weird look. "Well, whatever. Come at me."
This time, Yasenia unfolded her [Tyrant Warlord Intent Domain]. The other party was using their Level Five Intent Domain, so she couldn’t fight something like that bare.
This time, with the boosts of her skills and strengthening auras, Falicia managed to exchange several clashes with Yasenia’s whip-like tail. Moreover, as the battle continued, the one being pushed back was Yasenia.
"Hm... Not bad."
A barrage of hammer strikes flew her way, while darkness tried to swallow the surroundings, and phantoms of Moons descended onto her like a cataclysm. The set of offensive abilities was quite comprehensive.
Falicia, noticing how she was pushing back Yasenia, smiled faintly. However, when she was about to rejoice, Yasenia spoke up. "Alright, I will test your defensive capabilities now. [Celestial Dragon Body], [Celestial Dress]."
BOOM!!
Yasenia’s aura surged, her Spiritual Path activating together with two of her buffs. Falicia felt as if the world around her was constraining, ridiculous pressure flowing out of Yasenia.
"Watch out."
Yasenia warned, and right after, Falicia saw her appear in front of her. Yasenia’s dress had changed into an ethereal, empyrean gown. The Sun, Moon, and Stars gleamed along its cloth, while an ethereal flow moved the bodice charmingly.
However, Falicia only had a single instant to appreciate the gorgeous dress that hugged Yasenia’s curves perfectly before her stomach received Yasenia’s punch.
BANG!
"GAH!"
Her body bent like a bow, saliva flowing out of her mouth from the recoil. Then, she was sent flying. Yasenia, looking into the distance, spoke calmly. "You need to defend, Falicia. Otherwise, you will suffer."
Falicia, crawling out of the new crater she just created, felt like coughing up blood. ’Defend? How can I defend if I can’t see you coming?’
Strangely, her Spiritual Sense couldn’t easily lock onto Yasenia’s moving body. She didn’t know the reason, but sometimes, Yasenia was like a phantom, appearing here and there without a trace.
The reason was a crushing difference in Spiritual Sense rank. If Yasenia willed it, she could practically block Falicia’s Spiritual Sense completely and beat her up senseless. This was the technique Tatyana had shown her long ago, and something she had recently grasped.
Yasenia secretly nodded in satisfaction. "It works. Great."
Tatyana, Valeria, and Mirrory, glancing from the sides, raised their eyebrows as well. Mirrory clicked her tongue. "A little monster, like always."
Valeria laughed, her eyes admiring. "She always gives little surprises like these."
Falicia lunged at Yasenia once more, but this time, Yasenia was hell-bent on testing her defenses, so things would not go as the woman wanted.
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Falicia barely managed to block the attacks, and under Yasenia’s control, her body was thrown around helplessly. The woman used her defensive skills as best as she could, but the second even a little leisure appeared in her moves, Yasenia increased the intensity a notch.
After thirty minutes of grueling defense, Yasenia spoke again. "Alright, final test: Your durability."
"What?"
Yasenia appeared in front of Falicia, and her punch landed squarely on her face.
BANG!
Her skull cracked, her nose bursting with blood as her body spun back. Yasenia was not done, though. Using [Pegasus Gallop], Yasenia overtook Falicia and spun, her leg accurately striking Falicia’s back.
BOOM!
A shockwave shook the air and space around them, while Falicia felt her insides become an unidentified paste. "COUGH!"
Blood and chunks of organs left her mouth, but this was only the beginning.
BAM! BAM! BAM!
After a few seconds, Falicia was punched down from the sky, and she crashed in front of the others, her body battered to the point that she barely looked human.
Landing in front of her, Yasenia hummed. "Quite... fragile. We’ll need to improve your body with some refinement."
The girls, hearing those words, flinched and gave Falicia looks of pity. They were also going through refinement, not as brutal as Yasenia’s. Even then, the pain from those moments was truly searing.
Yasenia leaned down and popped a pill into Falicia’s mouth. "A healing pill. I will prepare your first three refinement baths, but you’ll need to provide for the rest of the herbs... Falicia? Hey, are you listening?"
Seeing Yasenia tap Falicia’s deformed cheeks, the rest felt their lips twitching.
