Chapter 32: CH. 32 | Information About Hongtian Sect

Lin Tian watched the flow of spiritual qi from around the sect’s main hall steadily stream into the building and become completely absorbed by Ya Fei.

He waited several minutes to make sure no qi turbulence would occur, though he clearly hoped there would be none.

And it turned out to be true. No qi turbulence appeared while Ya Fei focused on cultivating with the technique Lin Tian had given her.

The woman’s eyes remained closed as she sat cross-legged on the hall floor with intense concentration, clearing her mind and calming her heart.

Earlier, the Status Vision panel had displayed an upward arrow beside the cultivation stage section of Ya Fei’s status.

Lin Tian had seen something similar before, especially with Luo Mei and Yun Yun.

Lin Tian felt fairly confident that the arrow was a simple sign indicating a cultivator was close to a breakthrough.

He did not want to disturb Ya Fei while she focused on cultivating. Lin Tian turned around and walked back toward the altar.

The Qi Restriction Seal inside Ya Fei’s body had already been destroyed.

Maybe it’s time for me to prepare to fight them, the people of the Hongtian Sect.

Lin Tian paused for a moment before beginning his cultivation.

He knew what the Hongtian Sect was like, but he did not know how much they had progressed now.

If he attacked without accurate information, Lin Tian feared it would only end badly for him.

Ya Fei might know some things, but not much. An Yue and the other disciples would also know very little about the Hongtian Sect.

There was only one person who likely possessed enough knowledge about the Hongtian Sect.

Wu Yue.

Lin Tian turned his head and saw Ya Fei still sitting cross-legged in cultivation, her eyes closed and breathing stable.

Clearly, he did not want to interrupt her cultivation moment.

He stood upright and stepped aside. In the blink of an eye, he swiftly left the sect’s hall building and arrived at the front courtyard.

The Pill Refinement Hall building stood clearly before him.

Through his qi aura eyes, he could see spiritual qi from the surrounding area flowing into the place.

Wu Yue was cultivating.

Her spiritual qi flow was dense and intense.

Wu Yue’s qi absorption ability was far superior to Lin Tian’s disciples, who were still Qi Condensation cultivators.

Without making a sound, he stepped through the dome formation and opened the building’s door.

Wu Yue’s hearing was extremely sensitive. The moment she heard the creak of the door opening, she immediately stopped cultivating.

The spiritual qi flow halted. Her eyes opened as she looked forward.

"Lin Tian?"

"What are you doing here?" Wu Yue asked.

Lin Tian stopped at a significant distance from Wu Yue, not too close.

"I want to ask about the Hongtian Sect," Lin Tian replied.

"Why?"

"Because I’m going to destroy that sect," the man answered.

Wu Yue was visibly shocked, her eyes widening slightly.

However, she realized that with Lin Tian’s current abilities, he could destroy a small to medium-sized sect in a single night.

"The Hongtian Sect is considered a medium sect, not as large or famous as the Yunlan Sect," Wu Yue replied.

"However, if you want to destroy that sect, I think you can do it."

"Why?" Lin Tian asked.

"As far as I know, the highest cultivation level in the Hongtian Sect right now is Early Nascent Soul. Their Sect Master only recently broke through into the Nascent Soul realm."

"That’s why the status of the Hongtian Sect has risen," Wu Yue explained.

Wu Yue narrowed her eyes. She questioned why Lin Tian intended to destroy the Hongtian Sect.

Lin Tian gave no answer, only showing a cold and indifferent expression.

To him, Wu Yue had no right to know the reason behind his plan to destroy the sect.

If she learned the truth, Lin Tian doubted she would keep Ya Fei’s darkest secret hidden.

"That’s all the answer I needed," Lin Tian replied.

He turned around and left in a flash of white light, disappearing from the Pill Refinement Hall in an instant.

Wu Yue looked slightly confused by Lin Tian’s behavior. Even so, she did not care much.

Her current focus was increasing her cultivation until she could destroy the dome formation and kill Lin Tian.

The man arrived outside the Pill Refinement Hall and returned to the sect’s main building.

Inside the hall, he could still see Ya Fei cultivating while her qi aura began radiating and rumbling.

Looks like she’s about to break through.

Lin Tian’s prediction was correct. The accumulated qi energy inside Ya Fei’s body exploded into a powerful spiritual qi shockwave, spreading white qi energy throughout the entire sect hall.

The man’s black hair fluttered wildly from the wind created by Ya Fei’s breakthrough.

Lin Tian could clearly see the difference.

The qi power within the woman’s body appeared more stable and stronger.

Her cultivation foundation was beginning to form, and her strength was recovering.

Lin Tian smiled faintly. The wind gradually stopped, and the spiritual qi flow ceased entering Ya Fei’s body.

Her eyes slowly opened, and the first person she saw was Lin Tian standing majestically before her.

"Master Lin?"

"Congratulations, Ya Fei. You successfully broke through to the 4th Layer of Qi Condensation," Lin Tian praised.

Ya Fei smiled brightly and rose from her cross-legged position while looking at both of her hands.

A wide smile spread across her face. She felt relieved and happy that she had finally escaped the prison of the Qi Restriction Seal.

Now, she had the chance to catch up with her companions.

If she managed another breakthrough, perhaps Lin Tian would grant her an attack technique just like he had given one to An Yue.

"Thank you for helping me, Master Lin."

"I promise I’ll help you whenever you need something," Ya Fei said sincerely.

Lin Tian gave a brief nod and asked Ya Fei to leave the sect hall because he was about to begin intense cultivation.

His focus was not restoring his strength, but gaining the momentum necessary to break through and reach Mid Nascent Soul in the near future.

He did not know how long it would take to advance from Early Nascent Soul to Mid Nascent Soul.

However, Lin Tian understood that he did not have much time.

He sat cross-legged upon the cultivation altar. His hands began forming cultivation seals, releasing a beam of white qi into the sky, piercing through the ceiling of the sect hall before exploding.

Ya Fei, who stood outside, could clearly see a white dome formation appear and seal Lin Tian inside.

Curious, she stepped closer to the sect hall and reached her hand forward.

She touched the white dome formation wall. It felt strong and sturdy, making it difficult for anyone to break through.

Ya Fei understood what Lin Tian was doing now. A faint smile appeared on her face as she saw how quickly Lin Tian acted in response to Ya Fei’s dark past.

"Master Lin... thank you."
