Chapter 183: Bullying Yuna And Akemi

“Purple?” Koya blinked as he looked at Hakai with confusion. “Are my eyes really purple…?”

He didn’t actually know his new eye color after the transformation. He’d just assumed that his eyes would mimic his crest colors but they were actually purple instead of red and blue? That was unusual.

Hakai nodded and took a step forward, palming his face gently with both hands and running her finger delicately across his crests.

“Yes, your eyes really are purple,” she said with a soft smile. “They’re like mine now, hehe~”

“Like yours, huh?” Koya said with a small smile of his own.

They stood there looking deeply into each other’s eyes, sharing a quiet moment together.

Mable didn’t like what was going on between her Papa and Mama at all. She immediately reached up and wrapped her entire small body around her Papa’s face, blocking his view.

Koya staggered backward from the sudden weight, caught off guard.

“Papa, I’m hungry!” Mable announced loudly.

Koya then pulled her away from his face gently and lifted her up into his arms.

“That’s actually why I came here in the first place,” he explained. “To get both of you downstairs so we can all eat together with everyone else.”

Mable raised her hand up enthusiastically. “Papa, I’m ready! Let’s gooo!”

Koya then turned to Hakai with a questioning look. “Are you coming along, babe? I think the maids prepared your favorite dish tonight.”

Hakai cleared her throat nervously, her expression becoming more serious. “Actually… I have something I need to say to you first.”

Koya raised his eyebrows, sensing the shift in mood. He watched as she looked deeply into his eyes, seeming to struggle with something.

Hakai’s throat clenched painfully with anxiety. What was so incredibly difficult about just saying three simple words… that she was pregnant with his child? He deserved to know this life-changing information after all this time they’d been together. Tej already knew about the pregnancy but her own husband… the father still didn’t know.

But in the end, she let out a resigned sigh and shook her head in frustration with herself. “Never mind. I’ll tell you later when the timing feels more appropriate.”

Koya nodded, accepting her decision not to push. “Alright, whenever you’re ready.”

Then he asked, “When exactly are we leaving for this Mafia Mission you mentioned?”

“We’ll be departing in the evening tomorrow,” Hakai said. “That gives you the whole day to prepare and spend time with everyone.”

“Okay, that timing should work perfectly,” Koya said.

Koya was already planning out his entire schedule for tomorrow in his head. He’d take Nami out on that long-promised date in the morning like he’d committed to, then spend quality time with everyone else in the afternoon before the mission.

But the thing he was slightly worried about was exactly how long the Academy would be out for their break period after Mid-terms finished. Would he have enough time to—

“ALI has a strict policy of giving students a full week off after Mid-terms,” Hakai interrupted his thoughts. “I’ve already confirmed with Mio, so you don’t need to worry about it at all.”

“Perfect,” Koya said with relief.

Immediately, Hakai walked forward and took his free hand in hers, pulling him gently toward the door. “Let’s go down for dinner then. Everyone’s waiting.”

Koya now stood in the center of the massive training room, holding a simple wooden practice sword loosely in one hand as he looked forward at his opponents.

Yuna was standing there in a ready stance, and not only her but Akemi as well. Both of his students looked determined and focused.

“Are you both sure about this?” Koya asked, giving them one last chance to back out.

“Yes!” Yuna said confidently. “I’m going to show you exactly how far I’ve grown, Master.”

Meanwhile Akemi said with a casual shrug. “I’m just here so Yuna isn’t lonely during this beating.”

Koya sighed and shifted his grip on the practice sword. “Alright then, make absolutely sure to go all out against me. Don’t hold anything back.”

In truth, he wanted to test out his new Vampire constitution and the new powers he’d gained from his breakthrough.

As a Red Crest awakened now, he had gained the ability to bide his time and store up force, then use all of that accumulated power later in one massive burst.𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

Though he hadn’t gained any Physical Enhancement magic like typical Red Crest users did, the raw force and pressure of his aura had increased dramatically after the transformation.

But what Koya was actually more concerned about at the moment was Nami.

She was at the other end of the long training field, practicing sword forms with focused intensity.

‘I’m genuinely glad that she wants to grow stronger,’ Koya thought as he watched her. ‘But does her training partner really have to be…’

He turned his head to see exactly who Nami was practicing with.

Mable.

His daughter was easily parrying all of Nami’s strikes with just one hand, using her own small wooden blade with casual mastery then Nami attempted a quick low slash, trying to catch Mable off guard.

But Mable simply jumped over the attack completely, using just one finger to tap Nami’s hair as she flipped over her.

“Boop!” Mable said playfully as she landed perfectly behind Nami.

The blonde woman blushed when she noticed that Koya was looking directly at her. Mable waved enthusiastically and called out.

“Hi Papa!”

Koya waved back at his daughter with a smile then Yuna suddenly took an aggressive stance, tearing through the air with her practice blade while saying sharply, “Focus on us, Master!”

However, she immediately got her opening slash parried with enough raw force to send her flying straight up into the air.

Yuna blinked in complete surprise, as did Akemi who was watching.

But Yuna quickly retaliated using exactly what Hakai had taught her in their private training sessions. She pushed concentrated sound mana directly into her feet.

WOOO!!

The burst of sound launched her even higher. Yuna shot up and actually landed on the high ceiling of the training room, her feet sticking there through mana control.

Then she tore downward with her blade raised, her body surrounded by visible mana as she reached Mana Mode. The blue energy coiled around her entire body like living flames as she slashed downward at Koya with everything she had.

Koya smiled and raised his own wooden practice blade, also reaching Mana Mode.

BOOM!

The two Mana Mode-enhanced weapons struck each other directly, giving off a massive shockwave that cracked the floor beneath them.

Yuna landed on the ground, taking deep breaths from the exertion.

‘Not even a single step?’ Yuna thought with disbelief as she panted. ‘I used so much of my power in that strike, but I didn’t even make him move his feet at all. Master really is on a different level…’

It felt exactly like sparring with Hakai all over again… an immovable wall that she couldn’t even budge.

Koya then took a casual step back and gave an encouraging smile. “You two better take this seriously if you actually want to earn rewards from me.”

“What kind of rewards are you talking about, Master?” Akemi asked curiously.

Koya shrugged. “Anything you want, as long as it’s reasonable. Oh, and you don’t need to hold back with those wooden weapons either. You can use your real combat weapons if you want. I’ll stick with this wooden practice sword.”

The girls exchanged glances and nodded in agreement.

Using wood against opponents with real weapons would normally be considered incredibly disrespectful, like you weren’t taking the fight seriously.

But this was their Master making the suggestion, so if he wanted them to use real weapons, then it was perfectly acceptable.

“Ooh, me! Me! I’ll do it, Big brother Koya!” Yuu suddenly called out.

She was Yuna’s younger sister and had been sitting quietly next to the control panel, apparently drawing something. Koya hadn’t seen her in quite a while, but she’d definitely grown taller since the last time.

Yuu pressed a series of buttons on the control panel with ease.

Above their heads on Yuna’s side of the arena, a compartment opened and a real combat sword dropped down, which Yuna caught smoothly. As for Akemi, an enormous war hammer materialized and fell, which she grabbed with both hands.

Akemi hefted the massive hammer and looked at Koya with a mischievous expression.

“So Master, if I win and I asked you to take me on a date or spend quality time alone with me, would you actually agree to that?”

“Sure,” Koya said easily. “Though I’ll be leaving in the evening for that mission, and I’m already occupied in the morning.”

The moment he said that, Nami visibly stiffened at the other end of the training room and turned to look at him.

Koya nodded at her with a knowing smile, and she immediately blushed.

Then she was poked firmly in the stomach by Mable. “Stop looking at my Papa like you want to eat him.”

Koya chuckled at that, as did Nami despite her embarrassment.

“Alright,” Koya announced, his wooden practice sword resting on his shoulder. “Before we begin, let me explain the rules clearly so there’s no confusion. If either of you falls on your back and hits the ground, you lose immediately. The match ends the moment your back touches the floor. Understood?”

Both girls nodded their understanding.

“You may begin whenever you’re ready.”

Immediately, Yuna sped forward with explosive speed, aiming her real sword in a precise thrust with both hands.

The blade vibrated intensely with concentrated sound mana in an attempt to knock him completely off his feet and shatter his wooden weapon on impact but Koya simply covered his wooden practice sword in that distinctive red aura and deflected the thrust effortlessly to the side, opening up Yuna’s guard wide.

However, before Koya could capitalize on that opening with a counter-strike, Akemi came charging in from the side and rammed her giant war hammer directly into his ribs with tremendous force.

Koya used his sword hand to block the hammer’s shaft while simultaneously extending a single finger toward Yuna’s exposed stomach but Yuna somehow twisted her entire body through the air with incredible flexibility, barely evading that finger strike.

BOOM!

A shockwave exploded from Koya’s extended finger anyway, pushing Yuna backward through the air from the pure force even though it didn’t connect.

‘Is Master actually trying to kill me?!’ Yuna thought with alarm as she landed and quickly steadied herself.

Meanwhile, Koya looked down at his own finger with childlike wonder with his eyes glittering.

“Woah, I’m really strong now…”

He sounded genuinely surprised by his own power, like a kid discovering a new toy.

Akemi immediately capitalized on that moment of distraction. She let go of her oversized war hammer completely and rushed him in close physical combat, throwing a fast jab with her right fist.

Koya stepped back smoothly, dodging it then she threw a second jab with her left hand while simultaneously retrieving her falling hammer with her right through expert coordination.

Koya dodged this strike as well.

She drew her hammer-wielding hand far back and countered with the weapon fully committed, swinging it in a single devastating arc.

“AHHH!”

Akemi poured massive amounts of mana into the strike.

CRACK!

Koya thrust forward with his wooden sword and it destroyed the hammer’s metal head completely, leaving just the wooden stick handle in Akemi’s hands but she immediately adapted, flipping her body and using both legs in a rising kick aimed at the lower part of his jaw.

Koya took a step back, dodging the kick smoothly then he reached out and grabbed one of her ankles mid-flip, dangling her upside down above the ground.

“Master, this isn’t fair…” Akemi complained while hanging there helplessly upside down. “You’re like super strong and I’m comparatively pretty weak, so why don’t you give me some kind of saving grace or handicap to make this more even?”

“Nice try with the appeal to fairness, but you already lost according to the rules,” Koya said with clear amusement in his voice.

Akemi blinked in confusion. “But I’m still up in the air, so how did I lose already—”

He dropped her without warning.

THUD!

Akemi landed flat on her back on the training room floor with a solid impact. “Aw man~ You’re a real meanie, Master!”

Koya bent over and started tickling her sides. “You just looked way too cute not to tickle.”

She started laughing uncontrollably while kicking her legs.

“Master, stawppp~”

Across the training room, Mable briefly dodged one of Nami’s strikes and looked over at the tickling scene.

‘I want Papa to tickle me too…’ she thought with obvious jealousy.

Yuna, on the other hand, gripped her real combat blade tightly and took a deep, centering breath.

‘I need to cut him. I need to prove I’ve grown…’ she thought with absolute determination.

Her eyes began glowing with power as she took off with a burst of concentrated sound mana, heading directly toward her Master. She dashed across the training room at blinding speed while reaching Mana Mode again, pouring that energy into her weapon until it glowed brilliantly.

She also drew in ambient mana from the surrounding environment, letting it flood into her body and blade and her sword hand vibrated so fast that it turned into a complete blur.

She didn’t want to be useless to him… She wanted to be strong enough to stand at his side. Yuna closed the distance in an instant as Koya turned to face her head-on.

She brought her glowing blade down with all her accumulated power and he casually raised a single finger to deflect it.

SHAAAAAA!

A weird, distorted sound echoed all around the training room. The explosion of sound mana that was supposed to follow the strike never came.

Instead, Koya’s entire hand was wrapped in some kind of strange black energy that completely nullified her attack. The power rendered everything useless.

Yuna’s eyes widened in shock. She immediately took a step back and let go of her now-shattered blade, the metal fragments clattering to the floor.

Koya looked at his own hand as the mysterious black energy slowly receded back into his skin.

‘Riffi…’ He thought with a sigh.

Ever since he’d woken up, Riffi had refused to come out and communicate with him. He really didn’t know why, even though he’d reached deep into his soul multiple times to call upon her.

But this void was proof that she was still awake and conscious somewhere inside him, just purposely avoiding contact for some reason.

Koya turned around and clapped his hands together. “Alright, alright! I think that was an amazing fight from both of you.”

“You really think so, Master?” Yuna asked hopefully, though her sword arm still felt numb from the impact.

Akemi stood up and walked over to heal Yuna’s hand with her light magic without being asked.

“It was genuinely amazing how far you’ve both grown in such a short time,” Koya said sincerely. “And once you both reach Blue Crest level, you’ll certainly be incredibly strong fighters.”

He looked directly at Yuna. “Especially you, Yuna. Your control over your sound element is really, really good for your level.”

Yuna looked down with her ears twitching as red covered her entire face.

“I’ve been practicing a lot…” she said quietly.

Koya reached out and patted her head affectionately. “Keep practicing even more. Who knows? One day you might actually be able to beat me.”

“Hey!” Akemi suddenly said as she rushed to his side. “Praise me too, Master!”

“Hm,” Koya said thoughtfully. “You’ve definitely grown stronger than before.”

Akemi laughed. “Is that all you noticed, Master?”

“Yes, that’s all I noticed,” Koya confirmed.

A visible vein popped up on Akemi’s forehead. She immediately wrapped her arms around him and started squeezing with all her strength.

“Haah! I’ll squeeze you to death, Master!”

Koya just patted her head, completely unbothered by her attempt. He was genuinely glad to be back home with everyone.

Tej let the hot shower water flow down her naked body, steam filling the entire bathroom.

‘I’m glad…’ Tej thought peacefully.

She had finally gotten to see Victoria… Babyhead and while Babyhead was no longer physically a baby, she definitely still acted like one emotionally.

They were both over a thousand years old, which meant it had been more than a millennium since their vampire world had died and been destroyed.

‘I’m glad she’s okay. I’m glad we’re both still here.’

Victoria had cried herself to sleep earlier from the overwhelming emotions of their reunion. Tej, being a good big sister, had carefully placed her in bed and tucked her in properly.

She turned off the shower and wrapped a large towel around her body elegantly while letting the remaining water drain away.

‘Now I must do my duty…’ Tej thought with determination.

She and her sister had been tasked with repopulating the entire Vampire Race, and it all started with their mates bearing their children.

Her little sister had already been intimate with Koya, though she didn’t seem to be pregnant yet but that didn’t matter too much… they were immortal beings, so there was plenty of time.

For now, Tej would go to her bedroom, summon her mate Koya, and have him impregnate her first.

‘I’m prepared. It’s just intercourse…’ she told herself calmly. ‘Nothing to be nervous about.’

She opened the bathroom door and walked into her bedroom then she froze in complete surprise.

Koya was already sitting casually on her bed with a book in his hand, completely uninvited.

She was genuinely shocked. She’d been so deep in thought that she hadn’t sensed his presence at all, which was unusual for someone of her power level and why was he reading a book that had a woman with her breasts exposed on the cover?

Koya glanced up, noticed her staring, and casually threw the pornhwa aside. He shifted his position, placing one leg over the other in a confident pose.

“Alright, get onto the bed,” he said while patting the mattress beside him. “Let’s get to making babies.”

Tej blinked slowly, processing this unexpected reversal. Since when had the roles changed between them?
