Azul was caught off guard because Roxanna rarely used that kind of tone when speaking to her husbands or to others.

"I just... wanted to ask Aelin to teach me something," he said carefully. "Did I do something wrong?"

Roxanna bit her lower lip because she really felt like she was starting to become irrational. [I need to calm down. He’s not Leon at all! So he won’t betray me!]

Azul’s eyes widened a little when he caught that thought. Being compared to her ex-husband clearly shocked him.

"Alright, then," Azul said. "Cyrus already cooked something earlier, so I can heat it up for you and make more food for everyone."
