Lu Feng stared at the holographic display, feeling a bit lost. While the virtual keyboard looked almost identical to a real one, he had no clue how to operate the system or configure its settings, let alone reset the facial recognition.

Then, a thought struck him. ’Wait, isn’t Cheng Sisi a computer science major?’

He immediately left the bank again and, once outside, told Chen Tao to bring Cheng Sisi over.

Xu Bin and Wang Cheng were taking cover in another location with the two sisters, Cheng Sisi and Cheng Yaoyao.

Chen Tao nodded and left to find them. He soon brought back Cheng Sisi, along with Xu Bin, Wang Cheng, and Cheng Yaoyao.

Cheng Sisi seemed largely unfazed by the surrounding corpses. People in the apocalypse had grown used to such sights.

"Boss!" Cheng Sisi greeted him in a crisp voice as she approached.

Lu Feng handed her the holographic computer. "Know how to work this?" he asked. "I need to reset the facial recognition."

"This is the latest holographic computer model from before the apocalypse. I used to have one myself." Cheng Sisi nodded at once, then began working on it. Following Lu Feng’s instructions, she reset the facial recognition for him.

Afterward, Lu Feng tested it a few times. As expected, the recognition now worked successfully.

Next, with Cheng Sisi’s guidance, he tried his hand at operating the holographic computer and opened a control software.

This was the very software the Gray Wolf Mercenary Corps used to control the pulse-fission chips and electronic chains.

As soon as the software opened, he saw many red and yellow dots appear on the screen.

He zoomed in on a few of the red dots, cross-referenced them with the map, and realized they were right next to him.

He immediately looked toward the surrendered members of the Gray Wolf Mercenary Corps. ’The red dots must be the pulse-fission chips inside them,’ he thought.

He beckoned to one of them.

The man immediately jogged over, his demeanor utterly respectful. Daring not to show the slightest delay, he mimicked Lin Jiao and the others. "Boss, what are your orders?"

Lu Feng cut straight to the chase. "The red dots represent you guys. What about the yellow ones?"

The man answered at once. "Boss, those are the survivors who were captured and brought to the base. They’re all fitted with electronic chains, and the yellow dots represent the signals from those chains."

Lu Feng subconsciously glanced at the electronic chains around the necks of the sisters, Cheng Sisi and Cheng Yaoyao, and instantly understood.

This piqued his interest. The large number of yellow dots on the application meant the Gray Wolf Mercenary Corps had captured and shackled quite a few survivors.

He had already been planning to seize the Gray Wolf Mercenary Corps’ base, develop Zhuangyuan District, and build a post-apocalyptic research facility there.

This plan would naturally require many survivors, but skilled people were even more crucial.

The fact that those survivors were already at the Gray Wolf Mercenary Corps’ base was an excellent start.

’The key is that they all wear electronic chains, which makes them much easier to control. They’re basically my private property now. I can do whatever I want with these survivors.’

Though she made it sound trivial, a bullet graze was still a sizable wound. It had bled a lot, and a scar was practically guaranteed once it healed.

Seeing this, Lu Feng remembered the other item Gray Wolf had dropped: the Life Potion.

At the thought, he retrieved the Life Potion and told Lin Jiao, "Open your mouth!"

"Huh? What?" Lin Jiao froze, completely baffled by her boss’s command. Nevertheless, she obediently opened her mouth a little.

Lu Feng took the Life Potion and dripped some of it into Lin Jiao’s mouth.

’After all, the Life Potion only restores 200 health points. He didn’t want to waste it.’

Lin Jiao swallowed instinctively. In the very next moment, her eyes widened as she stared at her shoulder in astonishment.

As soon as she swallowed the liquid her boss had dripped into her mouth, she felt a peculiar warm current rush toward her injured shoulder.

Miraculously, her injured shoulder began to feel cool, followed by a tingling, itching sensation.

Lu Feng and Cheng Yaoyao, who had been applying the medicine, also stared in amazement at Lin Jiao’s shoulder. The wound was healing at a rate visible to the naked eye!

The speed was incredible.

Lin Jiao herself was shocked. She knew it had to be connected to the liquid her boss had given her.

This caused them to look upon Lu Feng with a newfound sense of awe.

They knew this was all thanks to their new boss. The man was a terrifyingly powerful ability user.

Soon, all the documents from the bank were loaded onto the hover-trucks.

"Boss, everything’s ready!" Lin Jiao reported.

"Let’s go!" Lu Feng nodded and led the way toward one of the hover-trucks.

Then, the convoy of hover-vehicles started up, speeding toward the Gray Wolf Mercenary Corps’ base.

As dawn broke, Lu Feng and his party arrived at Zhuangyuan District.

One of the Gray Wolf Mercenary Corps members immediately sent a message to those inside the base.

Inside the Gray Wolf Mercenary Corps’ base, the guards on duty immediately received the signal.

Recognizing the familiar signal code, they knew what it meant.

"Quick, open the gate! The commander’s back with his men!"

"Right away! The commander and his men must have made a huge score this time!"
