Chapter 1361 - 1215: Homeward Bound! (2)
Contact all the True Gods or higher, and the more, the better?
Upon hearing this, the Taurus Director was slightly taken aback. As he began contacting the other directors, he spoke with a hint of surprise:
"Alright, I’ll contact them right away... Leon, are you planning to bring back all the remaining demons from the Abyss of Ten Thousand Evils?"
Leon’s apparition shook his head slightly.
"Not just demons... bzz... but also angels... bzz... a lot of angels..."
Angels too? And many of them?
After listening to Leon’s words, the Taurus Director was momentarily stunned, then asked somewhat puzzledly:
"Aren’t angels all the citizens of the Holy Mother of the Pure White Land? She even fought you over a small number of angels that transformed from demons before. Will she agree to you bringing back so many angels?"
"Bzz... It’s fine... bzz..."
Leon’s trembling avatar grinned, then glanced down subtly.
"She is very willing."
...
What on earth? You’re saying we should bring back what?
After hearing the Taurus Director relay the request, the other directors who were summoned couldn’t help but freeze in shock. The Cancer Director, with his shiny big belly twitching, asked in disbelief:
"What do you mean... can the Star Gate bring back a person over eight thousand meters tall with a footprint of 1.258 million square kilometers? It’s already described by the land area; are you sure we’re still talking about a person? And those proportions don’t even add up!"
"Well... I’m actually not too sure either..."
Faced with his friends’ bewildered expressions, the Taurus Director said helplessly:
"The time on Leon’s side is unstable; his speech was fragmented and cut off before he finished. I couldn’t ask for details, but that’s indeed what he requested."
"No, no, that can’t be right!"
As soon as the Taurus Director finished speaking, the Scorpio Director, covered in injuries, shook his head vigorously, his eyes full of disbelief.
"I’ve been with the former Chief on the Old Soil for so many years, visited dozens of large and medium planes, and never heard of anything this large. You must have misheard—ask again quickly!"
"This is truly no mistake."
The Taurus Director insisted:
"I asked several times specifically, and each time Leon told me there was no mistake. He indeed wants to bring back a person over eight thousand meters tall, with a footprint akin to a Kingdom, hence asking whether the Star Gate can withstand it."
"..."
This... Joan may be old, but she’s not senile, and can’t possibly be wrong about something like this... Could there really be someone this big on the Old Soil?
"I still think something’s off."
The Virgo Director beside him frowned and said:
"If Joan’s recount is accurate, this can’t be called a person at all; it’s practically a walking small-scale plane. Pure White Land is just this... wait a minute!"
Saying this, the Virgo Director seemed to recall something abruptly, and his pupils suddenly shrank.
"Joan! Where did you say the Chief returned from before?"
"Pure White Land..."
Upon hearing the Virgo Director’s inquiry, the Taurus Director also realized something, and couldn’t help but gasp in shock:
"You mean Leon... moved the entire Pure White Land back?"
It must be!
Though no confirmed news yet, merely a rough conjecture, recalling Leon’s past "style" of doing things, the directors almost simultaneously reached the same conclusion in their hearts.
Their Chief claimed to find an ally, but it was probably just incidental. As for the real objective, there’s a high chance it was to plunder the Pure White Holy Mother’s home, then bundle it all away!
"Quick!!!"
Leaping out of his chair, the Cancer Director shouted anxiously:
"Stop the meeting! Get everyone who can help! This time, we’re truly in for a big task!"
...
"Is this the best compression we can achieve?"
Looking at the gigantic "body" that struggled to curl up but couldn’t lower its height below eight thousand meters, Leon couldn’t help but frown:
"Try harder, exert each essence of origin to its maximum, and see if you can compress just a bit more!"
It’s no good, I really can’t anymore!
Facing Leon’s demand, the sweat-drenched Pure White Holy Mother shook her head continuously, then pleaded bitterly:
"Leon... Master! I truly have reached my limit. No matter what, Pure White Land is a complete material plane. Compression to this size is already extremely challenging. If it were compressed further, probably even the air would be compressed into diamonds!"
"Sigh... alright."
Seeing the Pure White Holy Mother’s sincere expression, Leon could only nod in disappointment, then patted the old yellow ox below him:
"Let’s go, give it a try first and see if we can drag it in; if not, we’ll think again."
"Moo!"
The old yellow ox, with a cigarette in its mouth, bellowed, and at Leon’s command, it set all four hooves in motion, dragging the Pure White Holy Mother, who struggled to compress, charging towards the [Passage] of the Abyss of Ten Thousand Evils.
"Boom, boom, boom!"
The steps of the old yellow ox grew heavier, and the stationary Pure White Land began to accelerate slowly. As the old yellow ox’s speed increased, everything around it and the Pure White Land gradually twisted.
Sparkling starlight stretched into light ribbons, circular nebulae turned into long oval light disks, and the black, amorphous astral plane surrounding them seemed like a tarp draped over Pure White Land, pulled by great force into massive creases that extended for thousands of miles into the deeper cosmos.
Reaching a critical threshold with its pull, the astral plane heavily "covering" Pure White Land emitted a sharp tearing sound akin to fabric being ripped but magnified billions of times, then was directly torn open.
A large amount of dust-like stardust exploded from the tear, enveloping the rapidly moving Pure White Land in a mist. Each fragment of stardust that swept by took away a part of it, transforming the heavy land into a honeycombed cheese full of holes, ultimately disappearing entirely in a burst of resplendent stellar brilliance.
It’s done!
Seeing the world around him stained with the colorful glow of stellar dust, Leon finally breathed a sigh of relief.
The Taurus Director said that as long as the astral plane surrounding it could be torn open, allowing the shattered stardust to fully envelop Pure White Land, they were confident in bringing the entire Pure White Land back intact. Judging by the situation, the objective seems to have been achieved.
Once Pure White Land and the remnants of the Abyss of Ten Thousand Evils are moved back to the present world, and the Pure White Holy Mother, merged with Pure White Land through the essence of origins, is dismantled, this grand "relocation" can be considered basically complete. It would then be time to consider re-integrating into the current world.
Moreover, from the time of departure with Fredri until bringing back Pure White Land, this journey to the Old Soil lasted over nine months and traversed numerous chaotic timeflows.
Even though he remained vigilant, consistently using the methods taught by Evangelin to stabilize his time through the bloom of origins, it inevitably had some effect. Several instances of exerting all his strength left little room for stabilizing time, resulting in significant temporal discrepancies.
Considering the journey back with the Pure White Holy Mother, upon exiting the Old Soil back to the present world and returning to the normal timeline, the temporal deviation would increase slightly.
To him, only a matter of months had passed, but for Anna and the two brats, his absence likely spanned over two years. The kids’ reactions were hard to predict, but Anna must have been worried sick.
And then there’s Veronica. Even if he worried about such situations, he had already made arrangements before leaving. The Cleaning Bureau and allied Kingdoms would support her initiatives, but without his aid...
Hmm... this isn’t too concerning. Veronica always knows what she wants and understands what needs to be done to achieve it, with an exceptionally independent personality. So, besides having children, likely nothing else necessitates his presence.
"Bzz!"

"Huh?????"
