Three Days.

It had been three days since he met with Sarah. Raiden still had no idea where to get the money till now.

Turns out she didn’t want him to manage the business side of things; she had already done that. She wanted him to find some money to pay back the debts somehow, somewhere.

But he was a broke guy already. After spending all the money he had on buying new Woolies and food, and his recent purchase of his bike. He practically had nothing left.

"What to do? Where can I find some money? Damn it, they don’t even take returns on a purchase!!" Raiden felt like crying as soon as he heard about the debt.

He tried to go back to the showroom and ask them to return his bike and buy the cheapest car, but they refused, leaving him practically in tears.

But all that was a secondary headache. The issue in front of him was much more serious.

Phaak!!

Neva closed her eyes in disgust after spitting out the berry she had eaten again, making her small figure look even weaker.

"You still can’t digest it, huh? Damnit!! What is happening?" Raiden felt like cursing as he looked at Neva in concern.

In the past three days, he had been trying to train Neva and Woolie. Since they were training, they required much higher nutrition than the daily food could provide.

But try as he might, he wasn’t able to get Neva to digest the berries from the trees, leaving her feeling perpetually weak throughout the day.

It has been three days now, leaving him with no idea what to do.

’This won’t do. I need to do something about her fast. Maybe I should ask for help??’

Raiden thought as he looked at her in concern.

"Sha Sha!!" ꒰ ˶ᗒᗣᗕ˶ ྀ꒱

Rai Rai!! I am feeling very hungry!!

The pitifully small girl appeared in front of him, her big eyes filled with tears as she glanced at him.

"Fuck don’t worry, Neva, Rai Rai is here~ I promise you that you will not go hungry again tonight. Just give me a moment, okay?" Raiden folded immediately.

He started calling his connections one by one. What use were they if he couldn’t even feed his own daughter?

"Hello Maple, are you there? Ahahaha, thanks for all your help. Listen, I needed to ask you another question. Do you have any other kind of food that Light Terra Beasts eat?? I have one Light Spider, and she is not able to digest the normal berries. Yes, okay, thank you." Raiden hung up the call with a scowl on his face, immediately dialling the next one.

"Miss Isadora, how have you been?! I missed you a lot, haha. Listen, I needed your help. My second Terra Beast has hatched, but she is not able to digest the normal berries from trees. What can I do? Do you have any solutions for this?"

"Oh, you are asking what element she is?? She is a light-type Terra Beast, I think. Oh you have a solution?? That’s great!! I’ll swing by the Alliance immediately!!" Raiden hung up with a smile on his face.

Finally, a lead!!

"Come on, Woolie, let’s go!! Let’s get your sister some food!!"

"Woolie!!" Hunph, I knew you could do it, human!! Hurry up, let’s go!

Woolie also had been worried sick about her. When he found out his sister couldn’t eat food, he thought she just didn’t like the taste.

But after seeing her try all kinds of different flavoured berries and still not being able to eat for three days, he knew something was wrong.

"Come on, buddy, let’s go. I am going out with Woolie and Neva for a bit, Aunt!! See you later!!" Raiden quickly got on his new motorcycle, putting Woolie in the front and Neva on top of his head.

GURRRRR!!

Raiden turned on the machine, zooming off in the distance at the fastest speed possible.

Ignoring all the looks he got, Raiden parked his motorcycle directly in front of the alliance headquarters before walking inside in a hurry.

"Ara?~ You came here so fast, boy. Did you miss me that much??" Isadora had a teasing expression on her face as she looked at Raiden, who was walking towards her with brisk steps.

She was looking as fantabulous as ever, with the same devil-like smirk on her face as she moved forward and hugged him, shocking the little guy.

The smile appeared on her face as she felt Raiden freeze up in her arms.

"Oh?? What happened, boy?? Why are you frozen in shock?"

’This femme fatale!!’ Raiden cursed in his mind as he inhaled the strong fragrance that she gave off and felt all the curves against his body.

He was very tempted to slap her arse a little for teasing him, but didn’t dare to do so. Only he knew how much of a sadist she was. If he tried to do it, he would end up in a hospital very fast or may even end up leaving the world!!

Other than the flush on his face, Isadora looked at his lack of response and started feeling bored already.

With a pout, she let him go, speaking with an alluring tone.

"I liked you much more when we first met, boy~ You were so daring towards me, even asking me out. Where did that confidence go now??"

"Haha, you are kidding me, Isadora. Me?? Asking a married woman out?! I would never do such a thing!!" Raiden pleaded innocent in a righteous manner, immediately earning a look of contempt from her.

She immediately shifted her focus to someone much more interesting.

"Oh, you are such a cutie, sweetheart!! What is your name??" She looked at the pure white spider on top of Raiden’s head as she said it, her eyes filled with curiosity.

"Shaaaa~" (˶° ㅁ °˶)

Neva blushed a little as she moved a step back on Raiden’s head, trying to hide inside his hair.

She felt a strange sense of intimidation coming off this woman, making her instinct scream in danger.

"Her name is Neva!! She is the cutest, isn’t she?! Just a bit shy. I am actually here for her only. Do you have any special food or something that she can eat? She has not been able to eat normal food." Raiden’s voice was full of concern as he said it.

"Of course, we have it. Follow me."

Isadora took a knowing look at Neva before she started walking deeper into the building with a smile on her face.

She has just found a perfect way to get a new free labour!!
