-----------------------
[Alliance Credit List]
[ The Archon’s Guidance: 99 Billion Alliance Points]
[The Archon’s Exclusive Meditation Technique: 50 Billion Alliance Points]
[The Archon’s Exclusive Physical Technique: 50 Billion Alliance Points]
Raiden looked at the top of the list, the price listed on it, before silently filtering the list by Price: Low to High.
[Silver Tier Meditation Techniques: 200 AP]
[Silver Tier Physical Techniques: 200 AP]
(Note: Alliance Points = AP)
"Silver Tier Meditation? What does it mean? There are tiers to meditation techniques??" Raiden asked in confusion.
He thought it was his own unique perk granted by the system, and the rest of the world used the pleb meditation techniques.
"Of course, there are tiers to meditation techniques. The higher you go, the harder it gets to progress on the same level. For example, you can go from Bronze to Gold Tier in one or two years."
"But if you want to go from Gold to Platinum, that alone will take a Year or Two. From Platinum to Diamond, it takes anywhere from Three to Five Years. From Diamond to Mythical, it can take from Ten to Fifteen years. As for Nuclear Tier, it can take you a whole lifetime, and you might still not reach it. And this is all assuming that you have access to unlimited resources and face no bottlenecks in your life. That’s why you need better techniques that suit your level as you grow."
Hearing Aria’s explanation, Raiden nodded his head. This made much more sense.
He was sitting behind the counter with Aria, understanding the Alliance Credit List and everything. Isadora had left him after giving him some instructions. She was very busy, being in charge of the Alliance and left Aria in charge of educating him.
So here Raiden was, sitting obediently near Aria and listening to her explanations.
"So I will find what I’m looking for here in this list??" He asked.
"Yes. To be specific, you will need these things." Aria typed in a few things on the tablet, showing it to Raiden.
[Bronze Tier Light Type Terra Food: 300 AP Per Month]
[Basic Terra Block Manual: 500 AP]
[Golden Berry Trees: 50,000 AP]
Raiden looked at the items in front of him. The only thing he understood was the first one.
As if sensing Raiden’s confusion, Aria started explaining automatically.
"Do you know about Berry Trees and their different grades??" She asked.
"Of course. I even have a few berry trees at my farm." Raiden said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"That’s good. While the Berries can fulfil your Terran needs, they are not the best way to consume them. In fact, it is the worst way to consume them. That’s where the Terra Blocks come in. You can use the manual to shape Berries into the Terra Cubes and, in doing so, remove all impurities from within them, leaving only the essence behind. It’s the best type of food for rising Terra Beasts."
Raiden nodded at her explanation.
"So, I am guessing these Golden Berry Trees, they grow food for little Neva??"
"Bingo!! You are so smart, little brother!!" Aria patted Raiden’s head, making his eye twitch in annoyance. He wasn’t a small kid.
"So to buy all that, I need to participate in Alliance Frontlines and earn some AP?? Is there no other way??" Raiden asked, very unwilling to go to the frontline and expose himself to danger.
"There is. There are various ways to earn Alliance Points." Aria spoke with a confident tone, making Raiden cheer up at once.
"There are??"
"Yes!!"
"Can you tell me about them?"
"Sure." Aria’s expression was beaming as she said it. She didn’t get that many chances to show off nowadays, and she loved it.
"Well, the first and easiest way is to contribute something to the branch of your Alliance. For example, the 10,000 AP that you have right now came from participating and winning the Inter City Competition, which indirectly helped in making this branch prosper."
"Another way is to do some kind of groundbreaking research and contribute it to the Alliance. It will give you a lot of Alliance Points. Or you can invent a new Technique and give those to the Alliance. Or when you sell special Terra Beasts Egg or special grade materials like Meteorite Fragments, Phoenix Feathers, Dragon Fangs..." Aria listed off a dozen items one after another, leaving Raiden dazed in the process.
’Big sister, if there is no other way possible for me, just say so. You don’t need to make me feel poor in a hundred different languages.’ Raiden cried internally in his heart.
"So, do you think you can fulfil the other conditions?" She asked sweetly with a smile.
"Umm, let’s stick to Isadora’s suggested plan. Frontlines, it is. But I need a few days to prepare for it first. Can you exchange 3,000 AP points for 10 months’ worth of food first?? Along with that, the Basic Terra Blocks manual." Raiden asked her earnestly.
"Sure. Just give a moment." Aria exclaimed cheerfully as she typed in something in front of her.
A minute later, the same dude as before appeared in front of Raiden, giving him a polite nod, before placing ten boxes of Light Type Terra Food in front of him using his spatial ring.
"I have sent over the training manual to your account. Just use the Alliance website to log in. You’ll find it there. It goes without saying you can’t let others see it, okay?? NDA and all that. All the best, little brother. I am cheering for you. Fighting!!" Aria waved her fist in front of Raiden happily, as if cheering him on.
"Thank you, big sister, for everything." Raiden gave a little bow to her.
"I just have a question for you. Well, it’s not really a question, but more like I am passing a message to you from someone."
"A message?? For me??" A curious expression appeared on his face.
"Yes. It’s from ’Old Man Tobias’. He said he doesn’t care about your ’smelly parents’ opinions and misses you. He really hopes you can visit him soon."
A heavy silence fell upon the duo as a complicated expression appeared on Aria’s face.
"I..."
