A burst of Silver Light exploded out of the darkness, swallowing Raiden and Woolie whole.

"WOOOOLLLIIEEEEE!!!~"

Woolie’s excited cry rang through the mental space, but somewhere beneath it, Raiden heard something else.

A second sound.

A deep, ancient growl.

A howl so wild and oppressive that it felt like it came from a beast standing above the heavens themselves, looking down at the world with its red, hungry eyes.

Raiden’s heart shook.

For a brief instant, he saw it.

Behind the Silver Light, a gigantic wolf silhouette appeared in the darkness, its jaws half-open, its eyes glowing like twin storms.

Then Woolie rushed forward and crashed into that image head-on.

Bang!!

The wolf silhouette shattered like glass.

The Silver Light burst even brighter.

In the real world, a pillar of silver rose under the Banyan Tree as Woolie’s body floated up from Raiden’s lap, wrapped in shining light from head to toe.

His body started growing again.

One Meter.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Five.

Six.

Seven.

Eight.

Nine!!

But just as the light peaked, it rapidly compressed back inward, shrinking and condensing until Woolie returned to just over five meters tall.

Crackle—Crack!!

The light around him started breaking apart piece by piece, revealing the new Woolie underneath.

His body had become broader and more muscular, every inch of him packed with explosive power. His two golden horns had changed the most, curling backwards and outward like a true ram’s crown, with faint violet patterns glowing across them like streaks of trapped lightning.

His fluffy wool had darkened from pure white into a deep storm-grey, and countless strands of static danced through it without stopping, making his whole body crackle even while standing still.

His eyes slowly opened.

They flashed Crimson for a second before reverting to Deep Violet.

Calm.

Dangerous.

The moment his hooves touched the ground, a ring of silver lightning spread quietly through the earth.

Ruby’s golden eyes narrowed from the side.

Woolie lifted his head.

"Woolie...!!"

His voice had become deeper.

He took one step forward.

Dud-ump!!

A faint scorch mark appeared beneath his hoof.

Then another.

Dud-ump!!

The pressure rolling off his body became heavier in an instant.

Raiden slowly opened his eyes and looked at the new Woolie in front of him.

Then he looked at the wool.

"...Why are you grey?"

After spending a lot of time placating Woolie, who was upset about his change of regal white colour to a gloomy grey, Raiden returned under the Banyan Tree as he marvelled at the changes in his body.

Becoming the Silver Tier Battle master was a surreal experience for him. He had become almost 10 times stronger than before.

Up until now, he had been training and growing stronger, becoming a superhuman that could punch through a tree, but essentially, he was still human.

Now, though, it felt like something inside of him had evolved on the basic level of life, and he had ascended into a higher realm of life somehow. Something....more inhuman.

He didn’t know how to feel about the changes like that.

’This will not affect my little brother, right?! What if I can’t have kids in the future??!’

Just as Raiden was spiralling downwards, he felt someone tapping on his shoulder.

He looked up to see Ruby standing there with what looked like a smile on her face.

"How do you feel~?" She hissed as she observed the changes in him.

Unknowingly, there were really striking changes in Raiden, too. His hair had grown out even more; now his curly locks flowed past his shoulders. His skin had turned even clearer, and his eyes glowed an even deeper shade of violet. His whole silhouette just gave off an even more intimidating feel as he sat there on the ground.

"Hey, Aunt Ruby, it just feels weird somehow, I guess. Like something changed inside of me. I don’t know how to explain it, to be honest." Raiden voiced his thoughts honestly.

"That’s normall. Whenn you evolvee, you changee yourr life levell. Don’t worryy, it’s mostlyy good." Ruby answered his questions patiently.

"Wait, mostly?! What do you mean by mostly?!!" Raiden caught the keyword in her speech as he questioned her with a slightly uneasy face.

"Don’t worry about itt. But more importantlyy, aree you readyy to take caree of that issuee now??" She ignored his concern before narrowing her eyes as she looked at him, hoping to gauge his reaction.

Hearing her words, Raiden automatically sat up straight as he adopted a serious demeanour.

"Yes. I am almost ready. Just give me a day or two more. I still have a few more things to take care of. I also need to bond with the new Terra Beast." Raiden replied earnestly.

He had been ignoring the issue for half a month now, putting it off until he felt he was ready.

And he knew he couldn’t put it off for any longer. He needed to take care of those troubles soon before something else happened to him.

"Alright, I will go checkk on the little onee. He seemedd upsett." Ruby muttered before she slithered away, leaving Raiden alone under the tree.

"Alright, now it’s time for the next thing. Open up the system, show me what updates you have!!"

His system was his lifeline and his biggest cheat code in this world.

Without it, he doubted he would be even able to raise Woolie properly, let alone do all the other things he had done until now. He owed everything he had now to the system.

So when he read it also evolved and unlocked new functions, he couldn’t help but feel giddy.
