With no other choice, she had to step out and ask Mr. Quincy for help. "Mr. Quincy, could you help me for a moment?"

After she spoke, she turned to show Adrian Quincy the zipper that was stuck on the small of her back.

Seeing the sensual curve of her back, Adrian Quincy couldn’t help but lean down and press a soft kiss against her skin.

A jolt like an electric shock shot through her, and Claire Sinclair couldn’t help but shiver. Her face instantly flushed red. "What are you doing...?"

"Then stop looking and hurry up and get the zipper." ’I don’t need him losing control and devouring me. Doing *that* right before meeting his family is the last thing I want!’

Adrian Quincy placed one hand gently on her waist while using the other to pull up the zipper.

Even though he kept a respectable distance, Claire Sinclair could still feel the powerful presence emanating from him. She stood frozen, not daring to take a breath.

She thought he would pull away immediately, but instead...

Adrian Quincy’s hand slid down to her stomach, right over her navel. The next second, he pulled her into his arms, greedily inhaling the faint, sweet fragrance of her skin.

Feeling entirely uncomfortable, Claire Sinclair spun around and pushed him away. Her cheeks were puffed out as she glared at him. "Mr. Quincy, have you had your fill of hugging? Or do you still plan on us visiting your family?"

Adrian Quincy leaned down and pecked her on the lips, the corners of his mouth lifting in a slight smile. "Let’s go."

The original plan had been to celebrate Old Master Quincy’s birthday, but that was canceled. However, upon learning that Adrian Quincy was bringing a girlfriend home, even more relatives showed up.

Of course, the term "girlfriend" had come from Yara Quincy.

Yara let out a long sigh. "Who knows? Maybe my brother could never get over her sister. Then he saw a woman who looked exactly the same and wanted to recapture that feeling of first love."

Hearing this, the relatives pressed on with more questions. "So what does this girl do for a living?"

Yara hesitated for a moment before answering, "She graduated from college a year ago but has already gone through countless jobs. She can’t seem to hold one down for long. Plus, she just broke up with her ex-boyfriend not long ago. And what I find even more unacceptable is that her ex is currently serving time in prison for rape."
