I Regressed With a 10,000x God-Tier Multiplier
Chapter 128: The Bloodstained Ranger, Absolute Fealty
Lucifer dropped from the ruined roof.
He did not use Zephyr’s Grace to slow his descent. He plummeted like a dark meteor toward the shrieking multi-limbed horror waiting in the courtyard below!
The Amalgamation of Vane looked up. The fused faces of Celeste’s peers were twisted by Abyssal rot and glowed with purple fire.
They screamed in a horrifying overlapping chorus.
The massive beast raised its two primary mutated arms and attempted to swat the Warlord out of the air before he landed.
Lucifer did not swing his sword. He did not use a spell.
He simply engaged the full crushing weight of the Sovereign’s Eclipse aura!
The invisible absolute biological and spiritual suppression slammed into the Level 50 Abyssal Horror.
The monster’s massive arms froze mid-swing! The sheer overwhelming dominance of Lucifer’s Void Monarch core bypassed the creature’s necrotic shielding entirely.
The fused faces stopped screaming. Their jaws locked open in paralyzed silent agony as the Warlord’s presence crushed their corrupted nervous systems.
Lucifer landed heavily on the cracked ash-covered cobblestones directly in front of the beast.
He stood up. The ruby-red light of the Blade of Ruin washed over the frozen grotesque monster.
"You are an echo," Lucifer stated coldly. "You have no place in the new world."
He did not execute a flashy multi-hit combo. He did not drag the fight out.
Lucifer swung the longsword in a single perfectly horizontal arc!
The 100% True Damage enchantment flared brilliantly! The crimson blade sliced cleanly through the thick mutated flesh, the melted silver armor, and the fused spinal columns of the massive beast.
There was no resistance. The blade passed through the monster as easily as it passed through the thick gray ash falling from the sky.
For a fraction of a second, the Amalgamation remained standing.
Then, the top half of the colossal horror slid smoothly off its lower torso!
The severed pieces hit the cobblestones with a heavy wet thud. The True Damage enchantment instantly triggered its purification effect.
The necrotic green veins and burning purple eyes snuffed out. The massive mutated body rapidly dissolved into fine harmless white ash and left nothing behind but the faint smell of ozone.

[Experience Gain Suspended: Mortal Level Cap Reached.]
[Carnage Core: Death Energy Absorbed.]
Lucifer flicked the longsword, though there was no blood on the blade, and sheathed it smoothly at his hip.
The courtyard was completely silent.
He looked up at the ruined roof.
High Ranger Celeste was still standing on the edge. Her heavy enchanted longbow hung loosely in her hand.
She stared down at the pile of white ash in the courtyard. The faces of her peers were gone.
Elara stood beside her and offered no words of comfort, only a steady silent presence.
Celeste slowly lowered her bow. The hardened cold mercenary exterior completely fractured. It was the armor she had built over years of surviving betrayals, hunting nobles in the dark, and leading assassins!
She fell to her knees on the edge of the roof.
She dropped her bow. She buried her scarred face in her hands. She did not wail or scream.
She wept silently. Her shoulders shook violently as the profound crushing weight of her peers final desecration and their absolute erasure hit her core.
Lucifer did not tell her to get up. He did not order her to advance.
He waited.
A few minutes later, the shaking stopped.
Celeste wiped her face with the back of her leather gauntlet. She picked up her heavy longbow.
She stood up. Her dark eyes were red-rimmed, but the paralyzing horror was completely gone and replaced by a cold absolute and terrifying clarity.
She vaulted off the roof and landed heavily on the ash-covered cobblestones of the courtyard. Elara landed gracefully beside her a second later.
Celeste walked up to Lucifer.
She did not stop at a respectful distance. She walked right up to the Warlord and stopped just inches away from his dark armor.
She looked up into his void-swirling eyes.
She remembered standing in the freezing ice tunnel of the Cryo-Sanctum, offering him a Blood Oath for revenge.
She had sworn to be his vassal because he had killed Lord Vorian. It was a transaction. A mercenary contract written in blood.
But this was not a transaction!
He had not needed to step in front of that heavy iron gate. He was a Level 50 Archmage with complete spatial dominance. He could have let the monster smash her, or he could have crushed it from the roof.
He had taken the blow intentionally and completely absorbed the physical impact to shield her from the horror of her own family! He had stood between her and her nightmare.
"I swore a Blood Oath to you because you gave me vengeance," Celeste whispered. Her voice was raw, but it carried an undeniable resonant strength.
She did not drop to one knee. She did not bow her head.
She reached out and placed her hand flat against Lucifer’s dark leather breastplate right over his heart.
"I was a broken sword," Celeste continued softly with her dark eyes locking onto his. "I only knew how to cut the people who hurt me.
But you didn’t just point me at an enemy, Lucifer. You gave me a legion. You gave me a city. You gave me a purpose."
Lucifer did not pull away. He looked down at the fierce scarred Ranger.
"I gave you a command," Lucifer corrected smoothly.
"You gave me a home," Celeste countered fiercely.
She took a slow steadying breath. The faint silver glow of the Blood Oath on her forehead pulsed warmly.
"The Ranger who fought for gold and revenge died on this roof," Celeste declared. Her voice did not waver. "I do not serve you because of a contract anymore. I serve you because you are the only thing in this burning world worth dying for."
She did not wait for his response.
Celeste leaned forward. She pressed her lips firmly against his!
It was a sudden desperate and profoundly romantic gesture. It was the absolute surrender of a woman who had never trusted anyone in her entire life. She poured her absolute devotion, her grief, and her fierce loyalty directly into the kiss.
Lucifer did not hesitate. He wrapped his heavy iron-clad arm around her waist and pulled her flush against his armor. He met the kiss with absolute dominant certainty and accepted her vow.
The faint silver glow on Celeste’s forehead flared violently!
[System: Soul-Bond Resonance Detected.]
[Target: Lady Celeste (High Ranger)]
[Status: Blood Oath Overwritten. Soul-Link Established.]
[Loyalty Level: Absolute Devotion.]
The system recognized the fundamental shift in their dynamic. The transactional Vassal contract dissolved and was replaced instantly by the same profound unbreakable Soul-Link he shared with Elara, Lyra, and Sarah!
Celeste slowly pulled back. She rested her forehead against his chest plate for a second and her breath hitched slightly.
The heavy crushing burden of her past was completely lifted.
She stepped back. She looked up at him and a fierce genuine smile broke across her scarred face.
"My bow is yours, Lucifer," Celeste whispered. "Lead the way."
Lucifer smiled. It was a cold satisfied smirk, but it carried a trace of genuine warmth.
"Good," Lucifer said smoothly. He adjusted his iron gauntlet. "Because we have a long walk to the Cathedral, and the streets are not empty."
He turned away from the ruined estate with his void eyes locking onto the glowing green crater in the distance.
"Elara. Celeste," Lucifer ordered with his voice returning to the crisp commanding tone of the Grand Marshal. "Diamond formation. I take the point. Celeste, cover the flanks. Elara, watch the sky. We do not stop for skirmishes."
"Understood," Elara confirmed and her Twilight wings shifted as she fell into position behind him.
"Copy that," Celeste said. She smoothly notched an aether-tipped arrow to her heavy longbow with her eyes completely clear and focused.
The trio moved out of the ruined courtyard and back into the labyrinth of the burning capital.
Lucifer set a punishing pace. He did not use Zephyr’s Grace to teleport across the city.
He needed to conserve his mana for the extraction of the World-Anchor and the inevitable boss fight that awaited them in the Cathedral’s vaults.
The streets grew progressively worse. The absolute devastation caused by the Abyssal bombardment was staggering.
Massive chasms cut through the commercial districts. The corpses of millions of citizens lay buried under the rubble. Their life-force slowly bled into the ambient Void magic of the invasion.
And the Husks were everywhere!
They did not encounter another coordinated five-hundred-strong ritual circle. But the ruined streets were swarming with small packs of Level 40 and 45 mutated Royal Guards and citizens.
Lucifer did not slow down. He did not even draw the Blade of Ruin.
"Clear them," Lucifer commanded.
Celeste and Elara operated with flawless terrifying synergy.
A pack of twenty heavily armored Husks shambled out of a collapsed tavern with their jaws dripping with corrosive acid.
Celeste did not wait for them to charge. She fired three arrows in rapid succession.
The aether-tipped shafts slammed into the chests of the leading Husks. They detonated with concussive force and knocked the entire pack backward.
Before the monsters could recover, Elara was among them.
The Twilight Sovereign moved like a blur of dark matter and violet fire. She did not use wide sweeping strikes. She used brutal hyper-efficient thrusts.
Her spear pierced throats and shattered mutated skulls and instantly purified the Abyssal rot.
She danced through the pack and left a trail of dissolving white ash in her wake.
They moved through the city like a perfectly oiled machine.
Lucifer anchored the center with his aura suppressing any hidden threats in the buildings, while Celeste’s arrows and Elara’s spear cleared the path ahead.
They did not stop for fifteen minutes.
They finally broke through the dense ruined streets of the merchant district. They emerged onto the wide ash-covered avenue leading directly to the center of the capital.
Lucifer halted.
The three commanders stared at the destination.
The Sanctum of Solaris, the grand beautiful white marble Cathedral that had once been the beating heart of the human kingdom, was entirely gone!
In its place sat a colossal glowing green crater. The earth had been violently melted and scooped out by the Abyssal bombardment.
The golden dome, the massive pillars, the high altar everything was reduced to a bubbling pool of highly corrosive dark green lava.
"The entire structure is vaporized," Celeste breathed and lowered her bow slightly. The heat radiating from the crater was intense, even from a hundred yards away. "How are we supposed to find a vault in a lake of magma?"
"The vault is not in the magma," Lucifer corrected smoothly.
He activated his Void Arcanist sight. His eyes swirled and peered through the blinding green glare of the molten rock.
He did not look at the surface. He looked deep underneath it.
"The Cathedral was just the roof," Lucifer explained. "The true sanctum, the vault holding the World-Anchor, is buried miles deep in the bedrock. The lava hasn’t breached it yet."
"Then how do we get down there?" Elara asked and her golden eyes narrowed. "The entrance is melted."
"I make a new one," Lucifer stated coldly.
He raised his right hand. The Gauntlet of the Void King crackled with violent pitch-black lightning. He did not intend to dig. He intended to tear the crater open.
Before he could cast the spell, the bubbling green lava in the center of the massive crater suddenly erupted!
It was not a natural geyser.
A colossal grotesque figure pulled itself out of the molten rock! It was massive and stood over forty feet tall.
It wore the twisted melted and fused remnants of incredibly ornate gold and white papal robes. It had six massive multi-jointed arms ending in jagged bone scythes.
Its face was a horrifying mutated mockery of a pious old man. A massive jagged golden halo corrupted by dark green necrotic fire hovered behind its swollen rotting head.
[System Warning: Boss Encounter Initiated!]
[Entity: The Abyssal Bishop (Level 60 - Epic Corrupted Priest)]
[Status: Guarding the Vault Entrance.]
The monster opened its massive unhinged jaw and let out a deafening multi-layered roar that sounded like a choir screaming in agony!
"The High Pope," Lucifer noted calmly and his void eyes locked onto the colossal beast. "It seems he didn’t hide deep enough."
He drew the ruby-red Blade of Ruin.
"Elara. Celeste," Lucifer commanded. "Spread out. We have a bishop to excommunicate."
