Geoffrey guided Theodore to the direction where the voice was, actually the location was not too far from them at the moment because their car finally stopped at one of the convenience stores in the area.

And when they arrived at the convenience store, the voice calling for help was still heard and Theodore could tell that the voice was coming from inside the convenience store.

"It’s coming from inside. Are you sure you want to go there?" Theodore once again asked Roxanne and Geoffrey who was behind.

"Of course, the person is still making noise, we have to hurry inside to save him before it’s too late!" Roxanne nodded her head and told Theodore to quickly get out of their car.

Theodore inevitably chose to get out of the car and accompanied Roxanne to go inside the convenience store to save the person who was asking for help.

But, before actually getting out of the car Theodore looked back and spoke to Geoffrey, "You don’t need to come down, wait here and don’t open the car door for anyone other than us."

"But, what if there are zombies attacking?" Geoffrey did not expect Theodore to tell him to stay in the car.

"Relax, they won’t attack the car as long as you stay still. Sit at the wheel and lock the door," Theodore said, then walked out of the car, leaving Geoffrey alone in the car.

Geoffrey immediately did what Theodore said; he moved to the seat behind the wheel and started locking all the doors to prevent anyone from entering their car.

From a distance, Geoffrey could see Theodore and Roxanne begin to enter the convenience store and slowly disappear there; his feelings were quite frantic at the moment. He was not calm and kept looking around.

Theodore himself chose to walk behind Roxanne to guard her, and Roxanne ran ahead of him while looking for the person who was shouting for help.

"The voice is getting closer, it looks like that person is hiding in the staff room." Roxanne quickened her pace as she realized the voice was getting closer.

"Don’t rush, it’ll be dangerous if a zombie suddenly attacks," Theodore said, trying to match Roxanne’s quickening pace.

However, Roxanne did not hear Theodore’s words and continued to walk quickly towards the room used by the convenience store staff.

It was just how surprised Roxanne was when she felt her hand being pulled by someone, and she felt a cold iron on her neck.

Theodore, who was not far behind Roxanne, also realized it, and he was immediately alerted when he saw Roxanne being held hostage with a knife pointed at her neck.

"I didn’t think we’d get a good catch in a place like this. Not only that they are driving a nice car outside, hurry up and get the others to secure the car for us."

The big man’s men quickly started running towards Theodore with sharp weapons in their hands. Theodore, who saw that, only sighed softly and used his Wind Slash skill to repel the people who attacked him.

"I told you I don’t want to kill you, don’t blame me if I hit you too hard!" Theodore ended his speech with a crazy grin on his face.

In an instant, Theodore summoned a baseball bat from the sacred dimension and started beating the people who were getting back up and attacking him.

Then, Theodore moved quickly towards the big man and hit his knife-wielding hand. It all happened very quickly, so the big man didn’t have time to do anything.

Taking advantage of that, Theodore immediately pulled Roxanne’s hand to take her away from that place.

It was just that Theodore was too happy too soon because the big man quickly realized and pulled Roxanne and locked her neck with his hands.

"Damn it!" Theodore visibly cursed as he saw what was happening. He could see Roxanne trying with all her might to break free from the big man.

"Shut up bitch! I’ll hit you if you don’t shut up!" It seemed like the big man was quite bothered by the fact that Roxanne continued to struggle in her choke hold.

"Let go of me you rancid bastard!" Roxanne gritted her teeth and continued to try to free herself.

Meanwhile, Theodore had to be preoccupied again with the man’s men who attacked him again. Not only that, Theodore also saw that the big man ran away while he was busy fighting his men.

Not wanting to let that happen, Theodore immediately caught up with the big man who had almost reached the exit of the minimarket.

To stop him, Theodore threw the baseball bat at the big man. And the baseball bat hit the man in the head and made him let go of Roxanne.

Theodore saw Roxanne’s body fall to the floor and did not move at all. He immediately knew that the damn man did something to Roxanne.

Before the big man got up from the pain, Theodore moved towards him to save Roxanne, and he hit the man’s head with the base of his sword.

As Theodore quickly picked up Roxanne and moved out of the convenience store, he realized that their car was surrounded by the man’s men.

Carrying Roxanne on his shoulders, Theodore used his sword to slash at the men who had realized his presence and were attacking him. Theodore did not attack their vital points, so he only wounded them.

"Geoffrey book the car door now!" Theodore shouted to Geoffrey, who looked scared in the car.

At that moment, Theodore immediately opened the back door of the car and put Roxanne in, then he moved quickly to get into the car.

"Oh my! What happened to Roxanne?" Geoffrey panicked when he saw his sister unconscious.

"There’s no time to explain, we have to get out of this damned place!" Theodore immediately drove his car away from the convenience store without thinking.

Theodore heard a faint sound from the convenience store, it seemed like the group started to panic because the blood from their wounds began to attract the attention of the zombies that were still around the area.
