"How could those zombies just disappear?" Geoffrey was still in disbelief as he looked around and found none of the strange zombies that had chased them all night.

"I was as surprised as you, but they did disappear. Theodore doesn’t know why that happened either," Roxanne replied, shrugging her shoulders in disbelief.

"There does seem to be something strange about this forest. You’d better drive this car carefully," Geoffrey replied, glancing at Roxanne with some concern.

Roxanne only nodded slowly, then chose to give the magic scroll that Theodore had given her to Geoffrey.

"Hold onto that magic scroll. We need to use it again at 6 o’clock," Roxanne reminded Geoffrey to use the magic scroll later.

"I almost forgot we still need to use this thing. But, given that there are no more zombies chasing us, isn’t there no need to use it anymore?" Geoffrey thought that they no longer needed the magic scroll.

Although Roxanne felt that Geoffrey’s words were right, she honestly felt a sense of unease and anxiety when she started driving this car in place of Theodore. Roxanne felt that someone was stalking them right now in the darkness of the forest.

"Believe me, it’s better to be careful than sorry later." Roxanne reminded Geoffrey not to think that way seriously this time.

Seeing that his older sister had spoken seriously, Geoffrey could only nod his head in understanding and immediately set an alarm on the tablet in his hand to remind him to use the magic scroll.

Theodore woke up to the noise made by Roxanne and Geoffrey. He didn’t know what they were arguing about, but he could clearly hear that they were arguing loudly at the moment.

"What’s going on? Why are you arguing like this?" Theodore, while rubbing his eyes, slowly got up from his position.

"Roxanne wanted to help people! But, I prevented her, remembering what happened before when we wanted to help people." Geoffrey looked angry this time.

This was the first time Theodore had seen Geoffrey really angry like this, more than that he was angry at his own older sister.

Putting that aside, Theodore frowned as he heard Geoffrey’s explanation; he did not expect that there would be another person in this forest, and again, Roxanne intended to help that person.

"There are other people in this forest?" Theodore finally asked this, telling them to show him where that person was.

"Yes! Look at that person trapped in that car, there can’t be any more bad guys. I saw that he was the only one who survived and was calling for help," Roxanne explained this time while pointing at a car not far from their position.

"Oh my! How many times have I told you, it could be a zombie in disguise! What if it suddenly attacks you?!" Geoffrey glared angrily at Roxanne, hoping that his older sister would come to her senses.

"It’s indeed quite risky to act at this time. It’s better if we continue our journey," Theodore agreed with Geoffrey’s words.

"You guys have no heart. How could I let someone else die so easily!" And as usual, the stubborn Roxanne still wanted to save that person.

Theodore rolled his eyes when he heard that, honestly his heart was dead when this apocalypse came. Remembering how Theodore was betrayed in his previous life, he no longer wanted to trust others wholeheartedly.

"Even though you almost died before because you trusted others so much. And now you still want to do it?" Theodore looked at Roxanne with a strange look; he couldn’t get over Roxanne’s stubbornness at this stage.

"Yes, and I’ll do it myself if you guys don’t want to help!" Immediately after saying that, Roxanne opened her car door and walked out.

Geoffrey immediately panicked when he saw Roxanne get out of the car, and he quickly followed his sister’s steps.

Meanwhile, Theodore had no choice but to follow them out of the car. Theodore quickly summoned his sword from within the sacred dimension and he also called the system to keep watch.

"System, please observe the surroundings for me and alert me if you detect any malicious intent around me," Theodore muttered to his system.

After hearing that, Theodore was able to calm down. Theodore could easily catch up to Roxanne and Geoffrey, who were still arguing.

"It’s too late to retreat, so you’d better shut up." Roxanne grinned at the frustrated Geoffrey.

"You and your stubbornness are really annoying!" Geoffrey sighed and could only comply with Roxanne’s will this time.

"Since we’re already outside, focus on saving that person." Theodore interrupted their argument and dragged the two of them to help the person trapped in the car.

While walking closer to the car, Theodore could indeed hear the soft voice of someone asking for help, but he doubted that they could save that person.
