In The Apocalypse With My Sacred Dimension System
Chapter 200: So It’s You!
Roxanne even aborted her attempt to throw the grenade out several times as the zombies targeted her and slammed their bodies against the window on her side. Because of this, Theodore again had difficulty driving his car.
"These zombies are really troublesome. They get in my way when throwing grenades." Roxanne groaned in annoyance when she couldn’t get the action going.
"They seem to know we intend to distract the trees in the forest. No problem, just do your best not to endanger yourself," Theodore said later.
Although Theodore would have a hard time since these tree branches would bother him again as soon as they healed themselves, he couldn’t force his friends to do something dangerous, either.
"I’ll do what I can. I hope the sun will come out soon so the zombies will leave," Geoffrey replied as he leaned the side of his shoulder against the window so he would not have to move his injured hand.
"Don’t push yourself." Roxanne also reminded Geoffrey not to exert himself, as she was worried about her younger brother’s condition.
"Take it easy, I know what I’m doing," Geoffrey replied, smiling at Roxanne.
With that, they began to do their part, and fortunately, they were able to maintain that stable state, even though the journey was filled with a lot of tension.
They spent the whole night fighting zombies and magical trees that could block their way. Not only that but they were also exhausted after fighting for hours, especially Theodore, who had to keep driving all night.
Finally, after some time, Theodore decided to give Geoffrey the potion he had gotten from the system store. However, Theodore was afraid that the potion would have a negative impact.
But Theodore chose to take that risk because they had no other choice right now; they needed to attack the zombies that were chasing them.
"Put that potion on your wound," Theodore said as he held out a green bottle to Geoffrey, who was sitting in the back seat.
"Huh? Will this heal my wound?" Geoffrey looked confused as he looked at the bottle of suspicious green liquid.
Actually, Geoffrey was not sure about using the potion given to him by Theodore, so he first asked Theodore about the efficacy of the strange green liquid in the bottle.
"Yes, it can heal your wounds. I just don’t know if it will have any negative effects on you after using it," Theodore finally explained, choosing to tell Geoffrey the truth. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
"Why does that sound so horrible," Geoffrey replied with a shudder as he stared at the green bottle in his hand.
"You’re not trying to harm Geoffrey, are you?" Roxanne, who had been silent, spoke up when she heard Theodore’s explanation.
"How could I possibly think of harming Geoffrey. I’m just not sure how anyone other than me would react when using that potion," Theodore replied while frowning unhappily.
Geoffrey’s current focus was on the potion in his hand. He wasn’t really listening to the argument contest that Roxanne and Theodore were having at the moment. Although there was a possibility that this potion would harm him, Geoffrey thought that there was no harm in trying.
Without saying anything to Roxanne or Theodore, Geoffrey immediately poured half of the contents of the bottle into the wet wound.
Immediately, Geoffrey could feel a burning pain in the wound area; he groaned in pain and gritted his teeth to endure the pain he felt in his hand.
Even so, Geoffrey could see that the wound was slowly starting to heal; he continued to pour the remaining liquid into the bottle until it was finished while enduring the increasingly excruciating pain.
Roxanne, who saw what Geoffrey was doing, immediately panicked, but she could not do anything to help Geoffrey at the moment.
It took a full five minutes for Geoffrey to endure the pain caused by the potion given by Theodore until finally, he gradually felt the wound on his hand completely heal, and the pain was no longer felt.
"How are you feeling?" Roxanne immediately asked Geoffrey after she saw him sigh and lean his back back.
"Very bad. But, at least the wound is fully healed," Geoffrey replied later in a languid tone.
"What did you feel after using the potion?" And now it was Theodore who asked.
"My skin felt like it was on fire. The pain was really horrible," Geoffrey replied while shuddering in horror as he thought back to the pain he felt a moment ago.
"Apparently, there is indeed a difference when the potion is used by someone other than me." Theodore was finally able to confirm his guess.
Hearing that, Roxanne wanted to get angry, but she decided against it because somehow they needed Geoffrey’s help to increase their attack power against the zombies, who were still insisting on chasing them at the moment.
"We still have work to do. Geoffrey, can you help me with the route? Are we close to the end of this forest road?" Theodore then immediately asked Geoffrey to check their route.
Since his hand was no longer injured, Geoffrey worked quickly, although he still felt his body was very weak because he needed to endure the pain caused by the potion.
Geoffrey also decided to move to the front seat beside Theodore so that he could see the road ahead more clearly, and it would also be easier for him to explain their situation to Theodore.
"We’re very close to getting out of this forest. It only takes about 4 or 5 more turns, and we’ve reached the exit," Geoffrey explained as he looked thoughtfully at the tablet in his hand.
"The only problem is that the attacks from these branches are getting annoying. Not only that, but I feel that these zombies are starting to try to attack our car even though they know it’s useless," Roxanne said after she noticed the changes in the zombies chasing them.
"You’re right. I also feel that these branches are really annoying. It’s like they know that we’re about to leave this forest area, and they’re trying to keep us here." Theodore thought that whatever was in this forest did not want him to leave there.
"Geoffrey, I need you to attack the zombies chasing behind. You can break the rear glass to attack them; it’s safer than going out through the roof," Theodore explained, thinking of sending Geoffrey back to attack the zombies that were attacking them at the moment.
"Alright. I’m also looking forward to fighting them again. You can trust me with this," Geoffrey replied with a big smile on his face.
Geoffrey quickly moved to the very back of the car and kicked the glass as hard as he could several times until it shattered and gave him room to attack the zombies chasing them.
With Geoffrey rejoining the attack on the zombies, it was easier for Roxanne to throw grenades and deal damage to the branches that were holding them back.
It’s just that without Theodore expecting, there is a large zombie figure that suddenly jumps into the lane in front of him, and that makes him have to swerve his car sharply so that he doesn’t crash into the legs of the giant zombie figure.
