"You?!" Mouko jerked back in response. The mere Minor Champion now had the power of almost Major Champion, a level above him.

Carter disappeared and bright flashes sliced around the Champion Yokai.

The Tiger could still keep up with his speed somewhat and blocked a few of his strikes. But many got through and sliced onto its skin.

Shallow wounds appeared on Mouko’s body and blood started to leak out.

"How can a mere human weapon hurt me!"

Yokai had extremely thick skin and a durable body. It had been many years since Mouko tasted the fear of a blade again.

"Stop!" Mouko lifted his head up and roared. A powerful shockwave washed over the area, pushing even the far Yokais away.

The roar interrupted Carter’s attack and made him slide back on the ground.

Mouko went down on four legs and lunged at Carter.

The Raven Knight spread his wings and jumped up on the sky. Negative Energy leaked out and turned Iganu into a giant energy sword.

Carter spun in the air, constantly slamming his blade to the ground below.

Mouko dashed around, trying his best to dodge the blinding blade. Many innocent Yokais were killed just because they were on his path of escape.

"We need to get out of here! Staying only means death!" A Yokai shouted and bolted out of the city square.

The remaining Yokais left with it, leaving only Mouko running from the constant blade behind it.

"Coward!" Mouko shouted.

He got far enough away from the blade then turned back to Carter. Its lung got bigger and it aimed its mouth at Carter.

"Forest Roar!" It screamed at Carter.

A powerful shockwave blasted at him, interrupting his spinning and stopping the attack.

"We will meet again, human!"

Mouko used that chance to get away.

The Raven Knight lifted his sword slowly. "Naive little beast. Nothing can escape me."

"Terror Corruption!"

The Raven Knight transformed. The Armor bit into his skin and the blade turned feral. The last time he used this skill, his mind was on the edge of going crazy. But Eldritch Knight’s new Soul of Steel completely negated that side effect.

The Eldritch Terror rushed down from above. It had become a through and through Major Champion, not just reaching it anymore.

Carter grabbed Mouko’s head and dragged it on the ground through half of the city. He destroyed many buildings in the process.

The he flew up high and flung Mouko to the air. The face of the Tiger was covered in blood. Carter swung the breathing Iganu blade at Mouko, sending a large Negative slash at the Yokai.

The slash slammed on the ground, biting into the Yokai’s flesh and leaving a large cut on the ground that stretched a quarter of the length of the city.

Mouko was still alive. He was barely breathing. A huge wound stretched from his right shoulder to his left hip, the aftereffect of the slash.

Carter landed near Mouko.

The Tiger trembled in fear. The human before him was more Yokai than Yokai. A large Raven Monster walked out from hell.

"Please! Spare me..." Mouko uttered a few words with all his strength.

Carter titled his head slightly. "You really are durable, huh?"

Mouko moaned in pain.

Carter deactivated Terror Corruption and Eldritch Armor. The black swordsman stood before Mouko again.

"I can spare you. But from today on, you must walk with me to atone for your crimes against humanity."

Carter took off his Holy Fire Bracer, "Become my weapon and you shall be spared."

"I..." The Champion Yokai sighed. "I accept."

Carter forced the Bracer on the Yokai’s body. His painful scream spread throughout the False City of Giyaku.

Dairei Mouko was no more. Now, there was only Mouko the Bracer.

Carter put the bracer back on. Its characteristics had now fused with Mouko. The bracer became more durable than ever and its color had changed into a deep orange, the color of a tiger fur.

"Your wish is my command, Master." Mouko’s voice echoed.

Carter nodded approvingly.

A Yokai watched every from afar. Its face went pale.

"The Tiger God just... Just... I need to tell everyone about this!"

It rushes away to warn the other Yokai. It didn’t know that Carter had glanced toward its direction just a split second ago. With Living Sense and Sonar Echolocation, not much could escape his senses.

’Letting it go can be useful. Let the name of the black swordsman be known across the Yokais.’

Carter sheathed Iganu. He had decided it was enough for today. Now he must collect his rewards.

There were still a ton of dead Yokais back in the city square. He must turn them all into Shards.

’Not that much Elite Yokai like I thought? Isn’t this a city of yokais? There should be more.’

There were still more Yokais scattered around Giyaku, rounding them up might need a bit of time. He also had just completely wreaked this place. He doubted any Yokais would stay behind anymore.

Kazou appeared in front of him.

"That was such a magnificent performance, The Unnamed!" The little Land Spirit jumped up and down in joy. "You really show those bloodthirsty Yokais justice."

"I just do what I vowed to do. How many Yokais left in this place?"

Kazou felt the land and said, "Not much. Most Elite Yokais had run away. The remaining Yokais are only those too weak to even comprehend something."

"What level are they?"

"Around Minor Awaken, The Unnamed."

Carter nodded. ’Probably those mindless disfigured Yokais.’

"You can go now, Kazou. If I need you, I will summon you."

"Yes, The Unnamed. I can only hear you if you’re within Giyaku area. I won’t be able to show up in other places."

"I’ll keep that in mind."

Carter spread his Raven Suit’s wings and flew off to the sky. He disappeared into somewhere more private to assess his current spoils of war.

"What a powerful warrior..." Kazou watched the Raven Knight disappeared in the far sky.
