Hearing my mother’s full explanation, I instantly knew that she was talking about my great great grand aunt who posed as a deity who decided that she had a mission to "bless" this world but the truth was, she just wanted to fuck around. Of course, she had children in the process with the poor men that believed her "holiness" and "blessings".

Darth’s family came from that same bloodline of the very first pope of the Church of Lumienere. He was the male that my great great grand aunt scammed several centuries ago. She was so good at her little play that he got that man obsessed with her resulting to him birthing children for her without no commitment whatsoever. When she went back to the Eieneos realm and eventually to the realm of the other gods, she said her tearful goodbyes and in memory of their time together, the said man built a whole new religion that prayed to her ceaselessly.

I couldn’t help but use my other free hand to hold on to my forehead as I felt a headache coming in after remembering the story that my mom told be about everything that happened in that time period. I asked my mom one last question before she cuts the sight sharing as I asked, "So this was like that time when I just knew Laerad’s name for some reason and said it unconsciously out loud which sealed the whole deal for us?"

My mother answered a short "Mm-Hmm" then I heard her chuckle softly. She added, "You do remember that you also went inside his tree form and interacted with his young self. You even went back several times and watched that little form grow into his teenage form, right? That is Laerad’s soul in his weakest state then his slowly strengthening state, you know. Do those sound all that familiar to you?"

Oh, shit. I did go inside Darth’s consciousness and saw a little him. I even hugged that child and comforted him. I even led that child away from that noisy place. The only difference with the two incidents was Darth wasn’t inisde a tree.

All of a sudden, my father’s playful voice came loudly from the background as he said, "You are really good at finding these types of men! Amazing job, my daughter! Give me more grandchildren, please!"

I chuckled and shook my head in helplessness. The babies in the room of beginnings haven’t even been born yet. Some of my new beast men husbands are pregnant and I still have fiancés that I have to complete that thing with. I also have some human husbands still in deification and here he was already asking for more babies from me.

It was a good thing that I wasn’t strapped for money and my body was strong enough for all of this. I am already having problems with time management though.

On the other hand, Clarence is still a human just like my other husbands that I have not married for a year yet. I don’t want my new husband or any of the others to wither and die on me even before our first children are born (there will be twins for sure). He has to go through the deification first just like the others before that will happen.

I hurriedly thanked my mother for all of her help and cut off the communication and sight sharing before my father starts spouting ridiculous things again. As my attention came back to the present, I saw that Darth’s eyes have finally opened but he was giving me a heated stare. His body still feels a bit feverish but at least he was conscious now.

I was blocking the other people’s view of Darth so I had to call them over and tell them the good news that he was already awake. Hearing that their friend was feeling a bit better and that he finally awoken, the trio hurriedly went by Darth’s bedside to personally check on him.

Since I called the other people in, Darth had no choice but to stop giving me that stare of his. I tried to move a step back from the bed but he grabbed the hand I placed on his chest with a tight grip, stopping me from getting away.

I stared into his calm and innocent looking face as well as that small smirk on his lips that he was trying so hard to hide from the others. I gave him a smirk of my own then started gradually increasing the mana I injected into his body which made him wince as a soft whimper escaped his lips.

After a few seconds, his eyes started to droop as he started feeling sleepy due to sudden increase in mana and his body’s need to recover from the previous shock and the high fever. I only needed to wait about a minute or two before he fell back to sleep again. His body then had no choice but to involuntarily let go of my hand.

Knowing that my job in this place was as good as done, I excused myself from everyone and went out of the hut. I simply left them with a smile saying that I have a honeymoon to go to and everybody understood why I was such in a hurry to leave. The pope walked with me back to the temple and thanked me for helping out Darth since he had no one else to take care of him besides those three in the pharmacy hut, the only friends that he had.

When we were nearing the stairs up to my quarters, he offered to tell the others back in the hall that I have went back up to rest early so I did not have to go all the way back in there. I immediately accepted his offer since I did use up much time back there.

Honestly, it was kind of good that Clarence got drunk or it would be very hard to explain what just happened back in that hut though I technically did not do anything to cheat. For now, I do have better things to do like checking on my drunk husband and eating him up once he is a bit more sober.

I thanked the pope for his understanding and his kindness. I then bid my goodbyes to the pope (grandfather-in-law) and went back to my bedroom quickly, telling him that I will see him again by breakfast. He chuckled in response and said teasingly that we do not have to wake up that early.
