Hey guys, sorry for not updating for the 2 months.

The people who have been with me from way back should know that my Patreon was suddenly taken down, and I was told by their team to contact them after 2 months. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

You see, I’m currently a university student and Patreon was basically my only source of income, so when my Patreon Page got removed, I had to do other part-time jobs to fill in the gap, and didn’t had the energy left to update, and frankly, with my Patreon taken down, I was also very much demotivated and just wanted to take a break from translation-work.

So fast forward, after the two-month grace-period when I mailed them to help me with my account, they straight-up told me that my account won’t be reinstated and I cannot return to Patreon with any writing-related work in the future.

I, of course, was deeply disturbed by their mail. When I probed further, they finally revealed the reason, for like after a week.

According to them, they banned my account because it revolved around translation-work. According to their guidelines, translation-work was not allowed and thus violates the Patreon’s policies. This was like a slap to my face, because I knew for a fact, that hundreds of people in this very app/website, were earning through translation-work on Patreon.

When I asked them further how exactly was translation-work against their policies, as it’s quite the famous niche on it, they started ignoring my mails.

I mailed them, tweeted to them, but all I received was that their decision was final and not once did they answered how exactly translation-work (only my page) violated their guidelines.

So, here I am with no hope of getting my Patreon back.

So before going forward from here, I want to ask you guys, will you guys have any problem if I move my work (Advanced Chapters) to ko-fi ?

If you guys won’t have any problem, then I will move to it. As I can’t seem to find any other alternative.
