The beam is carved with intricate designs, the pillar is gilded, and the statue of the Buddha, about a foot tall, is carved from white jade.

The offering table is made of century-old purple sandalwood, the incense burner is crafted from purple gold, and it is exquisitely shaped. All incense is top-grade Mandala Fragrance.

Even the carpet on the floor is woven with cloud silk and silver thread, materials of top grade. This one carpet, sold off, would be enough to cover a medium family's expenses for ten generations.

The floor is laid with cyan jade bricks, which can isolate impurities and calm the mind while nurturing the spirit.

The walls are inscribed with the "Tathagata Scripture," using relic powder and gold left by several Arhats.

It can be said that the decorations in this meditation room are extravagantly lavish, far surpassing those of emperors.

Monk Golden Light is quite satisfied with his meditation room; when free, he always retreats to practice and cultivate within this room.

Today, however, Monk Golden Light feels particularly terrible. His fondness for the meditation room also makes him particularly detest it. Right now, he just wants to escape as far as possible.

But where can he go?

With Gao Xuan's supreme magical powers, if Gao Xuan truly intends to capture him, how can he possibly escape?

Monk Golden Light's perception is much sharper than Tao Jun or Zuo Wentao. From Gao Xuan's first move, Monk Golden Light had sensed that something was amiss.

When Gao Xuan destroyed the Golden Horn Demon King in an instant, Monk Golden Light discerned some subtleties.

As for cowards like Zuo Wentao, they are even less worthy of attention. Others are unrelated to him, why would they risk themselves for him?

Abandoning the capital is the emperor's problem, not his concern.

While crushing the Golden Horn Demon King with a single hand, the actual process was not as simple.
