Living Only For Myself: Make Those Who Hate Me Regret It
Chapter 365 - 364: "Cut the Crap!
Kang County First Middle School had been around for years, and the shops near campus were all quite old. This dilapidated barbershop had a roll-up shutter, which was currently raised for business.
Three in the afternoon was the hottest part of the day. The students were all in class, and nearby residents were rarely out and about. There were no customers in the shop. On the sofa sat a young man with dyed-yellow hair, wearing a yellow athletic tank top.
Xu Su looked toward the man sitting on the sofa in the nearby barbershop, her eyes full of malice.
Seeing her expression, Zhou Mochen, who was beside her, faltered for a second. He leaned over, following her gaze out the passenger-side window. After a moment, he asked, "You know him?"
"I guess so," Xu Su replied, then suddenly reached up and cupped his face, which was just inches away. She said sullenly, "Zhou Mochen, do something for me."
This was the first time Xu Su had ever taken the initiative to ask him for help. Zhou Mochen raised an eyebrow slightly. "Does it have to do with him?"
Xu Su nodded. "I don’t care what method you use. Make that person close his shop and leave Kang County. He can’t come back for the next two years."
She pressed her lips together and added, "Don’t make a big deal out of it. Handle it quietly. No fighting, and don’t hurt him. Ideally, he shouldn’t even realize someone wants him to leave Kang County. Can you do that?"
’Xu Su definitely didn’t want Chen Ni to know someone was deliberately targeting this Little Huang Mao. Better safe than sorry. What if she ended up being the catalyst for their relationship? She’d die of frustration.’
Her rare display of seriousness left Zhou Mochen a little surprised.
’My Susu really seems to be taking this seriously...’
The corners of Zhou Mochen’s lips curled into a smile. He couldn’t resist patting her on the head and coaxing, "Worried sick over such a little thing? Don’t worry, Susu. I’ll be sure to handle it for you."
For him, a task like this was trivial.
Xu Su shot him a look and huffed, "Aren’t you going to ask why?"
She was a little displeased that he was treating something so important to her so casually.
Zhou Mochen’s eyes flickered. He smiled and said, "I can pretty much guess. It has to do with your sister, right?"
"..." Xu Su pushed him away in a huff. "Just drive!"
’Why’d he have to be so smart!’
Zhou Mochen planted a kiss on her lips, which were mere inches from his. He barely restrained the urge to deepen it, then smiled, sat up straight, and started the car.
Xu Su touched her lips and looked up at his profile. "Zhou Mochen."
He hummed in response, turning his head to look at her. "What is it?"
Xu Su said, "Let’s get a room."
"...What?" Zhou Mochen slammed the brake to the floor, suspecting he’d misheard. "What did you say?"
The sudden stop sent Xu Su lurching forward. Once Zhou Mochen had pulled her upright, she snapped irritably, "I said, let’s get a room! Right now. Find a hotel. I’m going to sleep with you."
The moment the words left her mouth, he squeezed her hand tightly. Zhou Mochen’s gaze darkened in an instant, his Adam’s apple bobbing as he swallowed...
After a moment, he said hesitantly, "How about... we wait until we’re back in Chang City? The hotels here..."
"Enough nonsense!" Xu Su had no patience to listen and cut him off. "Think it through. Are you really going to refuse me...?"
"Fine, fine, fine, whatever you say." Remembering the girl’s knack for tormenting people, Zhou Mochen quickly cut her off. "We’ll get a room. We’ll go right now!"
"..." Xu Su was speechless. ’Why can’t he ever learn? What’s the point of always being so reserved?’
’As if I were forcing him!’
Xu Su turned her face to the window and huffed in irritation...
Kang County had developed rapidly over the past two years. While there were no star-rated hotels, it wasn’t difficult to find a place with a decent environment.
In her previous life, Zhou Mochen had coaxed Xu Su into bed in many a hotel. For a period during those ten years, their relationship was particularly tense, leading him to drag her along wherever he went. He even made her accompany him on business trips, both at home and abroad.
When they were alone, even if they didn’t sleep together, he had to be holding her.
He would ignore her cold shoulder and, like a man dying of thirst, pin her down for a kiss from time to time. Back then, Xu Su had found his obsessive clinginess utterly repulsive.
Back then, she had only found it disgusting. But now...
The current Xu Su was so stirred up by this Zhou Mochen—a man she had once looked down upon—that she was restless with desire. All she wanted, every single moment, was to rip his clothes off.
Neither of them was familiar with the hotels in Kang County, so Zhou Mochen used his phone’s navigation to find the only hotel in town with an elevator.
’So this was her first hotel stay of this lifetime...’
Xu Su put on her mask before getting out of the car. After Zhou Mochen got them a suite at the front desk, they stepped into the elevator, and she immediately started to have second thoughts...
’Was I being a little too forward just now?’
’Girls are supposed to be a little more reserved... right?’
Xu Su reached up to adjust the mask on the bridge of her nose and cleared her throat awkwardly. Before she had a chance to speak, the elevator doors opened with a DING.
Zhou Mochen grabbed her wrist and led her out of the elevator. Without saying a word the entire time, he found their room, swiped the keycard, and then wrapped an arm around her waist, swiftly pulling her inside.
As soon as they were through the door, an arm tightened around Xu Su’s waist, and Zhou Mochen lifted her into his arms. With her feet dangling, she instinctively wrapped her legs around his waist.
A feverish kiss immediately followed. Xu Su clung to his neck, feeling herself start to get swept away...
The drumbeat of retreat that had just started in her mind was instantly silenced.
’Oh, forget it. Food and sex are just human nature. It’s perfectly natural, so what’s there to be shy about...’
Their lips clung together, unwilling to part.
By the time they’d kissed their way to the bed, their clothes were already loose and in disarray.
The room was brightly lit; the curtains weren’t drawn...
Zhou Mochen, panting, gave her another kiss. He tried to get up to draw the curtains, but he had only propped himself halfway up when Xu Su’s limbs snaked around him, holding him tight.
The girl’s hand slipped under the hem of his shirt.
She was unbelievably forward.
Zhou Mochen couldn’t stop her—and didn’t have the heart to—but the curtains had to be closed...
He let out a low chuckle and simply carried her to the window.
As soon as the curtains were drawn, the room was plunged into darkness. Zhou Mochen lowered his gaze and pinned the girl in his arms against the window, kissing her right then and there.
He took her hand, guiding it to his collar. A moment later, his shirt buttons came loose.
Her hand quickly moved to his belt, but after struggling with it for a while, she couldn’t get it undone and huffed in frustration.
Zhou Mochen kissed her placatingly as he took her finger and placed it on the buckle’s clasp.
CLICK.
The belt that had vexed her for so long came undone...
"Learn how?"
"Mhm..."
"Good girl." The man’s low, hoarse laugh sounded. "Hold on to me..."
Xu Su did as she was told, placing her hands on his shoulders.
.........
From the bright light of afternoon until the sky was pitch-black.
Xu Su buried her face in the pillow, but less than two seconds later, the man behind her pulled her up. She hurriedly pushed his approaching lips away. "No more kissing."
Zhou Mochen paused, then took her by the shoulders and turned her to face him. "Tired?"
"Mhm..." Xu Su’s sweat-dampened hair clung to her face, and she didn’t even have the strength to push it aside.
Her voice was a little hoarse. She gave him a light push. "Get off. Let me catch my breath."
