Hei Teng figured that if Ye Liuyun really had the money, he could unload a pile of top-grade goods in one go. Otherwise, selling these resources bit by bit would take ages.

Ye Liuyun didn’t hesitate. “As long as the attributes suit me, I’ll buy everything.”

This time Hei Teng didn’t stall. He produced two more storage rings and handed them over. “Take a look first, then we’ll talk price. Don’t worry—I won’t gouge you.”

When Ye Liuyun scanned the contents, he was startled.

Inside the first ring sat a Thunder Source Pearl brimming with lightning essence, a pair of Golden Toad pupils that shared the same origin as his own golden eyes yet felt far more savage, and a set of crimson pupils identical to Hei Teng’s snake eyes—most likely illusion-type. There was also a fist-sized blob of ice-blue blood essence and a wisp of cyan nether-flame; he couldn’t identify either beast. Most shocking of all: an intact true-dragon skeleton—only the last two tail vertebrae were missing. The skull, horns, and claws were perfectly preserved.

The second ring held two piles of beast cores at the eighth or ninth tier of Unity. One heap was attribute-less; the other glowed with elemental affinities. Off to the side lay a solitary ninth-tier Unity true-dragon core—inside which lurked a complete dragon soul. Judging by its size, the soul’s power eclipsed Ye Liuyun’s own.

He couldn’t tell whether Hei Teng hadn’t noticed or simply didn’t care, but it didn’t matter. With the Myriad-God Token, the dragon soul posed no threat.

“If these beasts all come from Hei Teng’s world, the resources there must be staggering—and there are dragons. I have to find a way in.”

After the initial shock, Ye Liuyun’s mind was already set: he would track down the entrance to that beast realm.

Hei Teng watched his face closely. Seeing the surprise fade into calm, he still couldn’t read the man’s intentions. He wasn’t worried about tricks—he just wanted to gauge interest.

Ye Liuyun collected himself, looked at Hei Teng, and spoke. “I’ll take everything. Name your price.”

Now it was Hei Teng’s turn to be stunned. “All of it?”

“Every last piece,” Ye Liuyun confirmed.

“Do you have any idea how many Origin Source Crystals this will cost?” Hei Teng asked, still incredulous.

“Just give me the number.” Ye Liuyun’s tone was unruffled; he knew he could afford it. The two rings remained in his grip—no intention of returning them.

Hei Teng finally started calculating. He’d never expected to sell the lot in one go.

After a long silence, he sent a sound transmission: “I can’t be bothered to price each item. Three thousand Origin Source Crystals and it’s all yours.”

He used voice transmission so no one else would hear—protecting the client’s wealth and his own profit margin.

“Done.”

Ye Liuyun agreed instantly. Even five thousand would have been a bargain. At auction or through a trading house, these rare items would fetch six or seven thousand at minimum—assuming no bidding war drove the price higher.

He produced a Interspatial Ring and handed it over. The two rings from Hei Teng vanished into his own spatial artifact.

Hei Teng accepted the payment with satisfaction, laughing heartily. “Anything on my stall—take whatever you like.” 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

Ye Liuyun had no interest in the common wares. “Got any beast meat or whole carcasses? Live ones work too.”

Hei Teng chuckled. “You keep beasts yourself, don’t you? Planning to feed them?”

Ye Liuyun didn’t explain; he simply nodded, eyes bright with anticipation.

“Fine then!” Hei Teng produced another Interspatial Ring and handed it to Ye Liuyun.

Inside were more than twenty beast corpses ranging from the fourth to the seventh level of Unity—each soul wiped clean while the bodies remained intact. Ye Liuyun bought the lot and passed everything to his clone for distribution among the demonic beasts.

The Thunder Origin Pearl went to Lei Ming for refinement; the pair of golden pupils to White Tiger; the dragon bones to Dragon Girl; the ice-attribute essence blood to Little Blue Ice.

All other beast cores were divided by attribute among the beasts so they could refine them and raise their realms. Two Unity Ninth-level fiendish flood-dragon cores were given to Lei Ming and the Nine-Headed Demon Dragon.

The crimson pupils were left for the First Clone to try fusing into his soul.

The dragon-soul core would have to wait until Ye Liuyun had time to deal with it personally. The yin fire was also set aside for him to strengthen his Nether Ghost Flame.

The beasts cheered at the sudden windfall. Using these beast cores—matched to their own attributes—would advance them far faster than absorbing raw origin energy.

The First Clone immediately had the beasts taste the corpses, letting them judge the world those beasts had come from.

“The meat is rich in energy but lacks any aura of primordial antiquity; it must be a world abundant in spiritual qi.”

“Their size is close to ours, so they likely hail from a world similar to ours—only richer in spiritual qi.”

The beasts quickly reached the same conclusion.

“All of you, enter my spatial world and refine these resources as fast as you can. We may soon pay that beast world a visit.”

At the First Clone’s words every beast’s spirits soared, and they rushed off to cultivate.

Outside, Ye Liuyun had almost emptied the Horned Serpent’s stock and was taking his leave. He guessed the serpent would soon return to the beast world to restock.

Just as he stepped away, he sensed a wisp of divine sense branded onto him.

Hei Teng had decided this rich customer was worth robbing once; if he succeeded, he could skip the trip back to the beast world altogether.

Ye Liuyun felt the petty trick and chuckled inwardly, saying nothing. He had Hong Bo keep strolling with him.

The moment he’d handed over those three thousand wisps of origin energy, while Hei Teng was still flushed with excitement, Ye Liuyun had already slipped a divine sense mark onto him—acting far earlier than the serpent.

“Best if that Horned Serpent launches a soul attack on me—then things will be much simpler,” Ye Liuyun mused, already plotting how to deal with the creature.
